Walker found himself engrossed in a heated gaming session with his friends Brady and Connor.

The three of them laughed and joked as they battled it out on the virtual battlefield, their competitive spirits driving them to new heights of excitement.

But as they immersed themselves in the game, Walker couldn't shake the feeling of unease that settled over him.

Ever since Emily's unexpected visit this morning

he couldn't shake the feeling that something was off about her, something that didn't quite sit right with him.

His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of footsteps approaching.

and he glanced up to see his sister Leena standing in the doorway, a mischievous glint in her eyes.

"Hey, bro, mind if I interrupt your little gaming session?" she asked, her tone playful as she crossed the room to join them.

Walker grinned, setting down his controller as he turned to face her. "Not at all, what's up?" he replied, curiosity piqued by her sudden appearance.

Leena glanced over at the screen before turning her attention back to Walker

"I was thinking, since you're not doing anything important, why don't you come hang out with me and Emily for a bit?" she suggested, her eyes twinkling with mischief.

Walker's smile faltered slightly at the mention of Emily's name, though he quickly masked his discomfort with a casual shrug.

" Walker !"

"Ugh fine , Lead the way," he said, rising to his feet and following Leena out of the room.

As they made their way down the hallway, Walker couldn't shake the feeling of apprehension that settled over him.

Something told him that this wasn't going to end well, though he couldn't quite put his finger on why.

As they entered the living room, Walker's suspicions were confirmed as he laid eyes on Emily, who was sitting on the couch with a strange, almost unsettling smile on her face.

His stomach churned with unease as he realized that this was going to be a long night.

Walker forced a smile as he sat down, though his discomfort was palpable. He stole a glance at Leena, who was watching him with an odd intensity, and he couldn't help but feel like there was something she wasn't telling him.

"So, Walker, Leena tells me you're quite the gamer," Emily remarked, twirling her hair

Walker nodded, though his enthusiasm was forced. "Yeah, I guess you could say that," he replied, trying to keep the conversation light despite the growing sense of unease that gnawed at him.

So Walker sat in the living room with Emily and Leena, he couldn't resist the urge to check in with Aurora.

With a subtle glance around the room to ensure nobody noticed, he pulled out his phone and quickly typed out a message.

"Hey, gorgeous," he texted, his fingers dancing across the screen with a playful energy.

He couldn't help but smile as he imagined Aurora's reaction to his message.

Across the room, Leena caught sight of Walker's grin and raised an eyebrow teasingly. "Who's got you grinning like that, bro?" she teased, a mischievous glint in her eyes. " oh wait is it Aurora ? Your girlfriend " she teased again

Walker's smile widened as he shot Leena a playful look. "Oh, just someone special," he replied, his tone light and casual.

Emily, who had been watching the exchange with a scowl on her face, narrowed her eyes at Walker's phone.

She couldn't help but feel a surge of jealousy at the sight of him texting someone else, especially when it seemed to bring him so much joy.

Ignoring the sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach, Emily forced a smile and turned her attention back to the conversation.
