I feel his pulse. I feel the air breaking through my back. I hear the rush of the woods. I grip him tighter. Is this supposed to be this terrifying. I feel my hands shaking. I see them all charging at us like a flood of blackness. A flood of teeth and fur.

"What are these things?!" He asks.

"I wish I could tell you." I say.

One lunges and bites his cape. He gets thrown off the horse by the wolf's jaws.

"No!" I try to grab him. 

His hand slips through my fingers. He slams into the ground. I pull the reigns. I really wish I could ride a horse better, but with what I'm wearing it's hard. I have to get to him. A wolf pounds him to the ground.

"Hold on!" I yell.

"Go! Run!" He yells.

"But I can't leave you!" I yell.

"Run!" He yells again.

"But..." I say.

A wolf slices his face open. My eyes widen. He would get turn to shreds. He would be killed easily. He saved my life. I have to use my magic, but how would he react. I bite my lip. I have to. I have to save him. He slashes with his sword, but there were too many of them. They would kill him. I could feel their evil might. One lunges for him. There's no way he could fight. I throw my hand out. A magic bolt hits it. 

"Leave him alone." I jump off the horse.

I shoot my hands forward. Magic floods the area. White blasts of energy floods through hitting the wolves. I bite my lip. What would he think of me? He looks at me in surprise. However, he falls quickly. I grab him before he hits the ground.
