I wake up slowly. How long have we been driving around? I let out a yawn. I run my hands over my eyes. I rub my eyes slightly. How long have I been asleep? I look at my charm, it yawns and rises up. It hops onto my arm. I open a bag. At least my maid has packed extra dried rice balls. I take one out and bite into it. The salty sweetness of dried shrimp fills my mouth. The rice on my tongue feels as fluffy as pillows.
The air is still. I look out and I see snow. It's snowing. No wonder I feel cold. I look out at the falling stars. Beautiful. My mother used to say I had hair whiter than snow, but nothing is whiter than snow. I look at my driver.
He stops the carriage suddenly. A chill falls down my back. My fingers start shaking. I turn to the woods around us. There were shapes moving through the forest. I pull my white and red dress. Something's wrong. I sense something. There's some evil here. The charm pulls my arm.
"What is it?" I ask.
I hear a loud howl. I jump. I look out the window and creatures of fur starts charging at us. I duck under the curtain. I hear them roar. I grip my head. I can hear the roars of evil. I can feel the evil rattling my bones. I look out and I hear screams, and I see blood.
