I get a little way from the crowd. I stop. My breath was heavy. I slam my fist into the wood.
"That's why you left me? That's why I was dropped off?" I hiss.
That was your answer? Well, guess what Althael, it's not enough. I thought you left me for something... *sigh* I don't know. I sit down. I don't even know anymore. I run my hands through my hair. What am I supposed to do now? Anubis presses his face against my shoulder.
"Okay," I sigh.
I guess somethings never change. Anubis rests his head on my side. I move my hand over his fur. Set growls at me. I pull a piece of dried meat out. I throw it to them. I let out a breath as I lean my head against the wall.
"I think we need to talk." I hear.
"Not this again." I look up at him.
"You never let me finish explaining." He says.
"I don't need to hear your petty statements." I say.
"You look so much more like a man." He says.
"Like a human, you mean?" I ask.
"No." He says.
"... Why didn't you tell me?" I ask.
"I didn't know how to." He simply says.
"Yeah, I could see that a bit of a conundrum." I say.
He sits beside me. He puts his hand over my shoulder. I push him off.
"Do you have any idea how hard it was for me?" I ask.
"Yes. It was harder for me though." He says.
I let out soft chuckle.
"I highly doubt it." I say.
"I have a lot to make up for, don't I?" He asks.
"You and I are done. We're done Althael." I say.
"Please, I need your help." He says.
"How big a problem is this?" I ask.
"As large as the earth." He says.
"*Sigh* Okay, I'll help you, but this doesn't mean anything." I say.
"As soon as this is done, I will leave you, if that's what you want." He says.
"Good." I say.
