Why did she invite me? Me of all people? In case they had forgotten, I tried to kill them a couple of times. I'm not the kind of guy that likes opening up. I grip my chest. Though... I have to admit my chest has been aching quite a lot lately. I don't know why. I grip my head. Could it be the earth's magic? Could it be the mention of... *sigh* him? Has he been awakened? Whatever. I don't care about him. He doesn't care about me. Why would he? 

"Ah Hector there you are!" I hear.

I turn.

"Quirin." I say.

He had the squirmy kid that tried to take over Corona, twice. I cross my arms.

"Hi." Varian says.

"Why'd you bring the squirt?" I ask him.

"I'm..." Varian starts.

"The kid that tried to take over Corona and tried to kill the SunDrop twice." I say.

"Yeah... heheh, kind of did that." Varian scratches his head.

"What is it?" I ask Quirin.

"I have business in Old Corona." Quirin says.

"So?" I ask.

"He wants you to watch me." Varian says.

I jump in surprise. I glare at Quirin.

"You're kidding right?" I ask.

I cross my arms. Me? Hell No. I'm not cut out for this stuff and Quirin knows it.

"I am not watching the squirt." I say.

"I'm not a squirt." Varian mutters.

"Hector... please, it'll just be  a couple of hours." Quirin says.

"Yeah, Hell no." I turn.

"Hey!" Varian gets in front of me.

"Kid move." I say.

"What are you saying? I'm too much to handle?" He asks.

"Well..." I glare at Quirin.

He gestures to me. I let out a breath and I run my hands down my hair.

"Fine." I grab his shoulder and start dragging him.

"I got this Dad." Varian says.
