"You're an asshole" I say holding onto Charlie, sitting on her Avis. I could feel every movement that animal was taking. Click, Charlie unclipped the handle attached to the Avis's antenna, slid it down and clipped it again.
"I know. Ready?" She asked turning the Avis around, because I had made her get up onto the balcony, there was no way that I was going to try to get on when it was hanging off the side of the tower.
"No!" I yelped frantically just then getting a wave of fear.
"Well thats too bad because we're going over!" Charlie yelled making Bella jump off the balcony. I screamed without realizing it, Bella pulled up and I was holding on for dear life Bella leveled out and we sat there souring. I could feel cold wind pushing my face and a wing flap that surprisingly didn't feel like much, it felt like I was riding in a convertible, but also not at all. I've also never been in a convertible.
"Ellie open your eyes, dummy" Charlie insisted. Slowly I opened one eye, then the other, I slowly relaxed my grip on Charlie's waist and looked around. We were up much higher than the tower and were going slower than I thought. We were flying over the forest and I could see the whole Academy on my left. It was beautiful over the ocean, I could see the Sunset glowing with red, orange and yellow.
"Woah that's incredible" Charlie says looking back at my sunlit face.
"Whats incredible?"
"Your eyes, when the gray hits the sun they turn white, it doesn't even look real" she says.
"Yeah I've got weird eyes" I chuckle.
"I think they're unique" Charlie adds. I smiled at the compliment, looking around, there were about nine other people on an Avis flipping and twisting, twirling and soaring, they all looked so free. That's what I needed, freedom, freedom and control, freedom from worry and control over my life, I closed my eyes just feeling my surroundings, and clearing my mind.
"Are you ready to go back Elorah, it's almost dinner time" Charlie asks, I had forgotten she was there.
"Yah sure" I said a bit bummed.
"Ok but you better hold on then" she yelled and I frantically grabbed Charlie as they dived. I lifted off the seat and was almost pulled off entirely, but Bella pulled up by the tower, reaching the top was a big triangle window they swooped inside and landed softly on the cobblestone.
"Well that was fun" Charlie said helping me off.
"It was, We were going so fast and I lifted off the seat and now I can see why you where those weird glasses" I rant exited.
"Where can I get an Avis?" I ask thinking out loud. Charlie froze, she had been taking off Bella's saddle, Bella looked at Charlie confused.
"What? Is there something wrong with me saying that?" I asked moving to look at her face.
"I just don't think that's the best idea" she replied flatly, she took off the saddle and brought to it to a closet with Belladonnas name on it.
"But Why?" I asked as she hung the saddle up.
"Because" Charlie said trying to get out of the closet but I blocked her path.
"Why?" I asked more stern.
"Because so many people have died trying to do this, most people actually" Charlie says pushing me out of the way easily.
"I'm not most people" I claim following Charlie.
"Yah sure" Charlie said sarcastically.
"I am. Not. Most. People. I am tougher than you think, and I know that for a fact" I say slightly annoyed.
"I'm not going to win this argument am I?" Charlie asks unclipping the handle and tossing it into the closet.
"No you're really not, and this isn't an argument it's a discussion" I says in my "I know everything voice".
"Ok, if you're serious I'll tell coach, and see what I can do" Charlie says giving in.
"Perfect. Ok but I have a question, why is there a hole under Bella's collarbone?"
Charlie waved Bella over and explained.
"Those holes go straight into the lungs. This is how they breathe and the collarbone protects it. It also makes it so you can do this" Charlie wraps her whole hand around Bella's collarbone, right in front of the breathing hole. The Avis wiped her tail back and forth.
"That is insane" I breathe as Charlie gives Bella a piece of raw meat she got from a barrel. She threw it up and Bella caught it chomping on it roughly.
"Good night lovely" Charlie says patting Bella on the neck and Bella shook her head snorting. As they walked away Bella took off going to rest in one of stalls up high.

"Sam said that they would be here" Enzo said annoyed but they had only been waiting for five minutes and he was being dramatic.
"I don't understand why we have to wait for her" Hugo said leaning on the bookshelf next to the hammock nook. I was in one of those hammocks.
"There they are!" Said Jack.
"Hey losers what's up" I heard Ellie's happy voice ring, my eyes were closed.
"The sky" Carder answered snickers at his own joke.
"You're not funny" said Ellie, Enzo and Hugo.
"Neither are you Ellie" I say quietly, I rolled slammed my side onto the ground. I looked up at Ellie's smirking face, while everyone laughed.
"I am very funny actually" she said stepping back.
"You tipped me over asshole!" I was trying to cover my smile.
"I'm aware, now come on dinners going to start soon" Ellie held out her hand and I got an idea. I grabbed her hand and pulled her onto the floor next to me, then I shot up and sprinted towards the lift.
"GET BACK HERE MOTHERFUCKER!!!!" I heard Ellie scream behind me, I was smiling like crazy. When I reached the lift I ducked in just enough time to avoid a book being flung at my head.
"Geez Ellie that almost hit me" I yelled exasperated.
"Go GO, Hit the button! Hit the button!" she laughed as she ran onto the lift and slammed onto the mesh wall.
"ELORAH GET BACK HERE!"
"WHAT DID I DO!?!?"
She had knocked Carter onto the ground, and probably threw a book at Hugo. I hit the button as our friends tried to run at us. But the lift dropped and me and Ellie were laughing harder than I had ever laughed before. Ellie was laughing so hard she fell to the ground which made me laugh harder. The lift stopped and we stumbled off still laughing, we were getting many looks but we didn't care.
"Umm what is going on? actually I don't want to know" Sam said standing in front of them.
"Good cause we didn't want to explain" Ellie laughed.
"ELORAH, MATEO! YALL ARE DEAD!" Yells one of the boys behind them but we didn't know which one because we were off sprinting down the hall zooming past classroom's. We turned the corner and I saw a closet.
"Ellie, Ellie in here" I whispered breathlessly opening the door as we heard the guys running and yelling after them.
"Oh" she said jumping in the closet, I shut the door behind them. We were both gasping for air and laughing. I then realized that this was a bad idea, me and the girl I didn't want to like, but did like in a small space together. We both stood in silence as we heard the guys passing. I looked down at Ellie's face in the dark, the only light was the light coming from underneath the door. She then looked up at me, her bright grayish blue eyes still sparkling. I let my eyes slip to her lips for a split second then quickly I looked away ashamed. Maybe she didn't notice, no she definitely noticed I'm such an idiot. This was slightly awkward but we couldn't come out unless we wanted to get something thrown at us or worse.
"Sorry for throwing a book at you" Ellie said quietly looking at me.
"And for tipping my hammock over" I added smirking looking for an apology for that.
"Oh no, you deserved that, I'm not apologizing" Ellie chuckled.
"I did not" I gasp
"I think you should apologize for pulling me to the ground" Ellie says crossing her arms.
"You deserved that" I mocked her.
"Don't mock me, and I was being polite and was going to help you up, so you should apologize for being rude" Ellie told me.
"Should I just apologize for my existence to then?" I asked sarcastically.
"Yah your existence is corrupting my existence!" She whispered more sarcastically and laughing.
"What?! that makes no sense" I laughed "you are so weir-" Ellie slapped her hand over my mouth listening. Oh shit her hands are so soft.
"Maybe they went to dinner?" Enzo said as they passed.
"Let's check, dinner is about to start anyway and I don't-" Sam's voice faded, we waited about 15 more seconds to make sure that they were gone.
"Ouch what the fuck you bit my hand" Ellie yelped wiping her hand on her pants.
"Don't put your hand over my mouth then"
"Well you wouldn't shut your ass up" Ellie says opening up the door. I Rolled My Eyes
"Come on we should get to dinner" Ellie says.
