The VKs were all stood around and surrounded a cauldron filled with apples.

"Let's give Auradon a taste of evil," Mal says with a smirk on her face.

"Wicked ways beneath the skin...let all who taste it now join in." Mal finished as she went into a evil cackle like her mothers.

Alex's POV

So it's been 6 months since my coronation, and life has been busy since them. Evie and I are officially together. We've been together since after the after party, and I've never been so happy in my life. Currently, life has been extremely busy recently with the Royal Cotillion. And Evie has always started her own designing business, which she called Evie's 4 hearts. And she's doing amazing.

I was heading to meet Evie with Ben, as we both met up with them on the balcony outside Auradon Prep. "Hey," Evie comes to my side and plants a kiss on my cheek.

"Hey." I smiled at her with she returned, she leaned in and pecked my lips softly.

"I'll see you later, okay? I have to get to class." Evie looked up at me and I nods with a smile.

Evie leaned up and pecked my lips again before walking off with Lonnie and Mal.

Jade pulled Alex aside and asked him what colour he'd preferred for Evie's mural what he's surprising her at the cotillion.

Alex stood outside his locker, with the bustle of the rest of Auradon Prep's students surrounding him. He put in his combination and opened the door, but it was promptly closed by another hand.

"Hey, Alex." A voice the King had grown to not stand said to him.

"Hey Olivia." He responded.

"Oh, it's Olivia now? Not Liv anymore." She asked him.

"Well I called you Liv when we were together, and all going well that won't happen again." He grumbled, annoyed at her intrusion.

"Well don't speak so soon." She replied.

Alex furrowed his eyebrows at her. "What?" He questioned the girl.

"Well I was thinking that we could go to Cotillion together. You know we're good together." She proposed to him.

"I'd love to hear your definition of good because our relationship was anything but good, especially after what you did." He quipped as she scowled.

"Well I personally think we should. And I know you're single so-"

"Alex?" They both turned to see Evie at the end of the hall, making her way towards them.

"Let me know alright?" Olivia asked him. She leaned up to kiss him, but he swerved and she got his cheek. She pulled back and smiled anyway, before skipping away, happy with herself.

Once she did that, Alex immediately turned around. Evie had a look of pure hurt on her face. "Evie, I swear, I didn't-"

"Just.. don't, Alex." She cut him off before turning on her heel and leaving the hall, ignoring his calls for her to come back.

Alex let out a sigh of frustration and leant back against his locker. This was all just a misunderstanding and now because of Olivia, Evie was mad. He didn't realise how long he had been standing there, until he felt a hand shove him slightly. He looked to his left and saw Jay, with a sad looking Chad behind him.

"You alright, Alex?" He asked him.

Alex nodded slightly. "Yeah.. it's just me and Evie." Jay expression immediately hardened.

"What did you do?" He snapped at him.

"Nothing! Come on man you know I wouldn't hurt her. It's just.. Olivia kissed my cheek and Evie thought that it was something else. I just need to talk to her, but I didn't do anything."

Jay softened up. "Ok, just as long as you don't hurt her." He looked back at his teammate.

"C'mon Chad." He said as he walked off. Chad stood in front of Alex.

"Speaking of Evie, I hear she had a date to cotillion."

Alex looked confused. "What?"

Chad nodded. "Oh yeah, Doug's taking her. I just thought you should know in case you decided to act on your crush and get crushed." He pat Alex's shoulder and followed after Jay, leaving Alex to storm back to his office.

It had been a few hours, and Alex and Evie still hadn't talked about anything that had happened today. Alex was now just looking out the window of his dorm, staring into space, not thinking of anything except what Chad told him. Not even the opening of his door took his attention away from it.

"Alex?" Evie's voice rang through his ears, but he couldn't face her. "Uhm.. look, I'm sorry about earlier. I know you wouldn't do that it was just hard to see. I shouldn't have just walked off but I went and talked to Doug and-"

Alex cut her off with a scoff. "You two planning your date?" Alex asked her, still facing the window.

Evie grew confused. "What?"

He finally faced her. "Your date? To Cotillion. I hear you two are a thing now." He told her, an angry look plastered on his face.

"What're you talking about?" She asked him, confused.

He shook his head. "You know, I really thought that after I told you about Olivia cheating that you would never do something like that. Guess I was wrong." He said.

"Alex I swear, me and Doug are just friends." She tried to convince him.

"Oh yeah? I really wish I could believe that. Especially after you got angry at me earlier, but you did the exact same thing. Except you actually went behind my back." He spat at her.

"Alex I-"

He raised a hand to stop her. "Just go Evie." He told her.

"No, Alex please." She tried to convince him.

"Evie just leave me alone for a while!" He raised his voice, as she jumped back.

She fought back her tears as she reached for the doorknob, and slipped out of his dorm. Alex ran his hands over his face as he fell back onto his bed, letting out a groan of frustration.

Another knock at the door got his attention. "Evie I said-" He looked up to see Ben opening the door.

"You ok Alex?" He asked him.

"Not at all, what's up?" Alex responded annoyed.

"Uh, we have some work for Cotillion to do.. but-"

"Yeah, I'll be there." Alex cut him off.

Ben nodded, as he turned back to the door. "Are you sure you're o-"

"Ben, honestly, just drop it." Alex interjected. Ben left the room and Alex laid on his bed for a while, before heading towards Ben's office.
