Chaeryeong was walking in the halls of her university, trying to not make contact with the bullies and getting hurt. While walking, she saw a girl, who was being harassed by 5 boys surrounding her. This made Chaeryeong worried, causing her to run to the boys who were trying to hurt the girl.

"Hey! You idiots! Get away from the poor girl.' One of the boys, turned around, looking angrily at Chaeryeong. The girl ran away while crying. Chaeryeong was now shaking in fear, trying to get away from them. One of the boys named Jungkook, pinned her to a locker ans started to harass her. 

"What did you say? Say it again if you can."

"L-Leave me alone..!" He started laughing at her and held her chin, making her feel uncomfortable. Suddenly, jungkook felt a pain in his down part, making him whine in pain. His friends turned around, looking terrified. There they saw Yeji, the villain of the school. She used to beat people who annoyed anybody and was never kind to anybody. All the boys picked up Jungkook, who was crying because of the pain and ran away. Yeji then lend out her hand, while giving Chaeryeong a death stare, creeping her out. 

"T-Thank you Yeji."

"Whatever fool. You should learn how to defend yourself. I'm not gonna be there everyday. I'm busy with my work."

"I know. I-I am sorry."

"Why you saying sorry to me? Say sorry to yourself for being so stupid and not defensive." Like that, Yeji walked away, leaving Chaeryeong a little upset.  Meanwhile, Chaeryeong was all Yeji was thinking about after that. The way her hair was bouncy, the way her brown, hazel looking eyes were shining, making her look extra pretty, made Yeji want to hug and kiss her. Nobody really knew this but Yeji actually had a crush on Chaeryeong, a mad crush. When they were high school students, Chaeryeong always used to help Yeji with her studies, because of which Yeji was 2nd rank in the entire university, and 1st as expected was Chaeryeong. She looked back to see if Chaeryeong was gone, and to her suprise, she was just standing there, still looking at Yeji. Yeji gave her a cold and death stare, which made her scared, causing her to get out of there. Yeji smiled at Chaeryeong's scared expression, trying not to burst out laughing. While walking, her best friends Lia, Ryujin and Yuna came out of nowhere, startling her. 

"UGH, what do you guys want?"

"We saw everything Yeji. Now, care to explain?"

"Well, those bullies we-"

"Shh...we know everything. We were watching all of it."

"Then why'd you ask you assholes."

"Don't call us that! Anyways, we are going to a bar tonight, wanna come?" Asked Lia, looking at Yeji, who would never say no. "Is that a question? Of course I will come!" "Then let's meet at 'HYD', the regular. Bye now I have class." "Yea sure and bye!" "Bye!".

In class, Yeji was sitting at the last bench, as always while Chaeryeong was sitting on the first bench. The subject was Maths, which Yeji hated but got the most marks in. 

"Can someone please explain how to solve this sum without solvin-" Said the teacher before he was cut off by Chaeryeong. "The answer is 73!" Everyone looked at Chaeryeong as if she was some alien. "H-How did you solve that so fast?" "It's easy Mr.Kim, my mind is faster than yours." Everybody clapped at chaeryeong for her talent, which made her shy and bow down to the kids. Yeji loved this side of Chaeryeong, a shy, cute person. It displayed alot more than what she actually was. 

In the evening ~

The evening came as all the four girls met at the bar, each having a drink. While drinking some tequila, Yeji saw Chaeryeong at a near by table with Jisung and Felix. Her heart suddenly started beating fast at how beautiful Chaeryeong looked in the dress she was wearing

"Oooo, someone's crush is hear huh? Did you invite her?" Said Yuna in a funny way, which made Yeji come back to reality. She glared at Yuna, who was making a puppy face. When she looked back at the direction she was looking in before, she made contact with Chaeryeong, who was smiling brightly at her. Chaeryeong got up and walked towards Yeji, panicking Yeji. 

"Hey Yeji! What are you doing here?"

"Oh hey Chaeryeong, I'm just here with my friends."

"You wanna join us?"

"I mean I guess, if it's fine with-"

"Of course it is fine with us!" Said the three of them with an excited face. Chaeryeong warmly smiled at them and showed them the table to go to, leaving her and Yeji all alone, together.  

"Would you like a drink Yeji?" Asked Chaeryeong in a sweet voice which melted Yeji. "I already have one but if you don't mind then, sure." Said Yeji, trying to stop herself from blushing. Luckily for her, the club lights suddenly went off. Chaeryeong, who was scared of the dark, quickly hugged Yeji while closing her eyes. Yeji on the other hand, was shocked because of the sudden hug attack, but kept Chaeryeong in her embrace, not wanting to let go. "Chaeryeong, let's go to a safer place. Anyone can do anything to us, especially you." Chaeryeong just agreed but couldn't move as her phobia of dark was increasing every second. Yeji put one of her hand on Chaeryeong's waist and the other one behind her thighs and picked Chaeryeong up, suprising her. Yeji then carried her to a much safer place then they were in before. "If it is appropriate to ask, why are you scared of the dark so much?" Chaeryeong just freezed in her place, as tears formed in her eyes. Yeji noticed them and put her hand onto Chaeryeong's small, thin waist, and the other hand on her cheek. "You know you can tell me whatever is in that pretty mind of yours right?" Chaeryeong just sighed and let her tears roll down her cheeks, explaining every bit of her life to Yeji.

"I was born into a family who was strict when it came to studies. Even 1 mark less than their expectations and you are dead. My parents always expected a 100% everytime in every test, which used to be almost impossible for me as I never showed any interest in studies, until I met my best friend Chaeyon. She is actually my sister, but we never talked when we were kids as my dad and mother separated. Luckily they got back together and that's how me and Chaeyon actually liked eachother better. She is a few years elder to me, which is why she helps me to study. Because of her I can be the first in the university. But then after ny 12th grade boards were over, she opened up to our parents that she was lesbian and was dating a girl in her office. My parents were okay with her being lesbian, so was I. But then, the girl, named Sakura, cheated on her with a guy, telling her that she was never a les and only used my sister for attention and money. It had a huge impact on my sister, even me. She ran away from home, but the reason was never declared or anything. It has been 2 years since she left and I...miss her...alot." Chaeryeong started to cry, as tears strolled down her milk like colored face. Yeji, who was listening to her for the past few minutes, pulled her into a hug, not being bothered about what had happened. She pulled away, looking at Chaeryeong, while wiping away the tears which were flowing from her eyes. "It's okay Chaeryeong. You have me, and that's all that matters." Chaeryeong felt safe with Yeji. She knew she could trust her because of her actions. She smiled at Yeji, making Yeji smile as well.
