Levi's POV
I scanned the surroundings before I entered the women's bathroom. Making sure nobody was in the hall or inside the bathroom with Y/N.

I quickly entered the luxurious women's bathroom and closed the door, just as my Y/N was exiting one of the stalls.

"Levi-" she gasped but I quickly pulled her inside the stall and closed the door behind us.

"Y/N we need to talk." I quickly interrupted her as I pinned her against the stall's wall and ran my fingers through her hair. "You cannot do this to me."

"Levi, you cannot be here!" Her eyes showed fear as we made eye contact.

"This is the only way I could talk to you. Ever since you told your friends, they haven't left your side. And I need to talk to you alone-"

"Listen there's something that I need to tell you. About Eren-" She quickly said.

"I don't want you talking to him or any of those other brats!" I instructed her.

"How can you say that?? You don't even know me. You can't tell me what to do!"

I slapped her hard across her face causing her to shut up.

"How can you say that??!" I snapped at her feeling angry. "After everything I've done for you! I've protected you and your family. I've loved you for years!" I began to choke her as she cried and tried to push me away.

"I-I d-don't e....ven know y-you...." She managed to say between tears and gasps for breaths.

"Y/N, are you in here?"

My hands quickly travelled from her neck to her mouth. Y/N's desperate breaths were muffled as I covered her mouth with my hands to prevent her from making a sound as I heard Ymir's voice.

Y/N stayed quiet and stopped struggling.

I heard the door to the bathroom close again, and pure silence. I think Ymir left already.

"Y/N....please let's talk like adults," I sighed and she quickly nodded.

I removed my hand from her mouth and we made eye contact again.

"Y/N-"

And then she took a deep breath.
"YMIR I'M IN HERE PLEASE HELP ME!!" I was interrupted by her screaming at the top of her lungs.

I desperately covered her mouth again, but it was too late.

Soon the bathroom stall that we were in bursted open.

Multiple pair of hands grabbed me taking me out of the stall. Taking her out as well too, but placing her as far away from me.

It was those wannabe heroes- Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Ymir, Krizta, Sasha, Reiner, Berthold, and Annie.

"What is wrong with you?? She told you to leave her alone!" Eren yelled at me as Mikasa and Armin held him back from punching me.

"This is between Y/N and I!" I yelled at them feeling frustrated. All I wanted was to talk to my wife in private. She was still my wife, and I wasn't planning on signing the divorce papers.

"Are you sure you want to get divorced Y/N??" I yelled trying to look at her but Ymir and Krizta were standing in front of her, as a shield. Covering her view of me....and covering my view of her....

"Y/N!" I yelled at her again as I struggled against Reiner and Berthold's grip.

"I'm gonna go get Commander Erwin and Hange." I heard Krizta whisper to Armin. And as Krizta walked towards the door to go get them, I caught a glimpse of Y/N. She was obviously crying, giving me her back and grabbing her face as if she was in pain.

"This is pathetic." I muttered. "Very childish of you, Y/N, to involve your friends in our relationship."

But she continued to avoid looking at me.

"Okay, I get it. Let go of me and get back to your duties!" I instructed them.m feeling extremely annoyed.

There was silence as the wannabe heroes looked at each other a bit confused at my sudden change of attitude.
Eventually, Berthold and Reiner let go of their grip of me.

"I said to get back to your duties! All of you...." I instructed them again.

As they began to walk out I quickly pushed Sasha, who was hugging Y/N and whispering comfort sentences, out of the way and grabbed Y/N from her arm.

"Y/N-" I couldn't even say another word to her as Eren pushed me away and got in front of Y/N. Acting as her shield.

"She doesn't want to talk to you, Captain Levi." Eren said. His turquoise/green eyes challenging mine.

"This doesn't involve you, titan boy." I said walking towards hun. Feeling anger throughout my body.

"It does because me and Y/N-" he began but didn't finish his sentence. His eyes still looking at mine as Mikasa basically hugged his side. Her body shielding half of his.

"Eren please. Don't get involved. This doesn't concern you." I faintly heard Mikasa whispering to Eren. She loved him, I could tell by the way she glared at me. An 'if-you-touch-him-I-will-kill-you' look as she glared at me.

"Because what?" I looked back at Eren. Challenging him to finish his damn sentence.

"Because me and her are together."

A faint voice could be heard between the heavy breaths and whispers of the wannabe heroes.
I had to blink twice, still looking at Eren. I didn't see him move his lips.

Eren's eyes became wide as that phrase was heard, and I followed his gaze.
Behind him.

Then I saw.

Behind Eren was a nervous looking Armin. Standing tall as an attempt to seem fearless, but his body movements failed him. His knees shaking.

"Me and Y/N are together," Armin repeated, now holding Y/N's hand.

My eyes travelled from his frightened light blue eyes to Y/N. She stood there shock and immediately broke eye contact as soon as her eyes met mine. She held his hand back and walked slightly behind him.

I didn't think it was possible to have my heart broken even more. I quickly left the scene feeling completely destroyed.
