Bondita just completed her higher secondary studies and as usual she came first in the whole college. She was very happy and was waiting for anirudh's gift unknown about the fact that he was fighting with his heart and brain.

Today keeping a stone in his heart he took a big decision for bondita. He wanted her to move on her life and live the way she wants.

In midnight,

Bondita was waiting for anirudh in the study room as she wants to confess her feelings to him. She waited for so many months for this day and finally she was about to confess her feelings. She was nervous, scared and excited too.

Soon anirudh came inside the study room and locked the door making bondita's heart skip a beat as he never does that, her small naive mind was imagining wild things. She looked down blushing.

"Bondita..." he said softly

"Yes pati babu" bon replied still looking down not able to look into his eyes

"I brought a gift for you and I am sure this gift will change your life and also secure your future" he said while bondita finally looked at him confusingly

"Gift? Which will change my whole life?" She asked confusingly

"Here....take this" saying this anirudh gave her a file

"Pati babu I expected you to give me ek badam wale rosogolle that too 8 handi's but here you are giving me a file...what is this?" She said while opening the file

Soon she looked at the papers kept inside the file and read it...her eyes started getting teary. The more she was reading further it the more tears were flowing through her eyes and then the file fell down from her hand making the papers fly everywhere.

"D...Divorce papers, you want to divorce me?" she asked while crying

"Bondita..." anirudh said and held her by her shoulder

"Bondita I want you to divorce me, I want you to live your life happily with the person you want, I want...I want you to do a second marriage with the person you want, who truly deserves you, who is the same age as you, who can understand, love you"

He said and all this while bondita stood there like a statue

"What do you mean by living my life happily with the person I want...am I not already living my life with the person I want? am I not happy with you? You want me to do second marriage with a person who is same age as mine, who deserves me...

Why don't you deserve me? Don't you LOVE me?"

She asked with teary eyes

He looked at her with teary eyes

Yes he loved her more than himself he loved her but he wanted her to live her life with a person with same age as her. The thought of her being with someone else was killing him but he is ready to drink this pain of love for her.

"No I don't deserve you bondita...I don't" he said looking down

"If you don't deserve me then no one in this world deserves me" she replied while anirudh closed his eyes and let his tears fall from his eyes

"Bondita please sign the papers, it's for your good future" he said sternly

"Without bondita's pati babu there is no future of bondita, I can't even imagine my future without you forget about living without you" she replied

"Why? Why can't you live without me?" He asked without looking at her

"Because I love you...I love you from the core of my heart and I know you are well aware about it still...still you want me to give you divorce...why?" She asked crying

Yes he knew about it too, the way she used to look at him, the way she use to blush if anirudh touched her or complimented her but our dear anirudh just wanted to make her future bright and for that he can do anything.

He thought that after being away from him for sometime maybe...maybe she will forget him and move on in her life but he was unknown about the fact that like anirudh has no existence without his bondita same way bondita has no existence without her pati babu.

"I don't know what you are talking about and it's not love bondita. From childhood I did so many things for you and this is the reason why you are too attached with me that's all" he said keeping a stone in his heart

"I won't sign the papers...I won't marry anyone else...I won't" she murmured looking down and shaking her head in no

"You can deny your pati babu but you can't deny your shikshak babu right. Bondita today your shikshak babu is asking you for his guru dakshina, won't you give him?" he asked making her look at him shockingly

He was right, she can't deny her shikshak babu after all it's his right to ask for guru dakshina from her.

"Fine ( wiping her tears ) I will give you your guru dakshina shikshak babu but remember you forced me to agree with you, I will never accept it and you will regret it" she said and signed the papers before giving it to anirudh

He took it and looked at her while she moved towards him and bend down to touch his feet. She got up

"I gave you your guru dakshina shikshak babu, from now onwards you don't have any right over me nor as your shikshika nor as your wife" she said before running upstairs towards her room

She fell on her bed and cried whereas anirudh clutched the paper and throws it away. He sat in couch holding his head, he was separating his life, his sansaar, his jeene ki wajah from himself, how will he live without her?

That night neither of them slept peacefully

Next morning,

The environment was different coz the khushiyon ki chabi of the haveli still didn't came out from her room. No one in the haveli knew about anirudh giving divorce papers to bondita.

Everyone was quite tense for her especially anirudh as he knew the reason why she still didn't came out of her room.

They were having their breakfast when they heard jingling sound of payal obviously it was of bondita but it wasn't as joyful as it used to be. Everyone sensed that something is wrong with her.

"Bahu are you alright? Why your face looks so pale? Are you sick?" Ksj asked concernly

"No ksj I am alright" she replied looking down

"Boudi what gift dada gave to you? I am sure he gave you a very special gift after all you topped in the whole college and completed your higher secondary studies" som asked teasingly thinking that his dada might have confessed about his feelings

"Yes he gave me a very very very special gift that I wasn't able to stop myself from crying the whole night" she replied while looking at anirudh who was ignoring her

Everyone could sense that something was wrong between them and as usual it was because of anirudh.

"What do you mean by that boudi?" Batuk asked confusingly

"Ask your beloved dada batuk" she said looking away trying to control her tears

"Anirudh what you did?" Ksj asked sternly while he kept num

"Anirudh...I think da asked you something" binoy said before adjusting his specs while anirudh didn't spoke a word

"Boudi what's the matter" som asked tensly

"Your beloved dada gave me freedom from everything ( everyone was looking at her confusingly ) he gave me the most special gift last night and that was divorce papers" she informed while tears made their way through her eyes

Everyone looked at her shockingly and then at anirudh while ksj angrily stood up with everyone.

"Anirudh are you mad? You want to divorce bahu" ksj yelled

"Kaka it's for her bright future, he deserves the best things in this world" he said while somtuk stood either side of bondita as a protective brothers trying to console her

"What do you mean to say that our bahu is not getting best things here? We can't keep her happy?" Binoy asked angrily before adjusting his specs

"I didn't mean to say that baba, you are misunderstanding me" he tried to say but ksj stopped him by showing him his hand

"Enough of your nonsense now, you are not getting divorced and that's final" ksj said sternly

"It's useless kaka because we already got divorced, bondita signed the papers last night only" anirudh said making everyone shock and looked at bondita

"Bondita...anirudh is a stupid but you are so clever how can you sign the papers" binoy asked before adjusting his specs

"How can I deny my shikshak Babu to give his guru dakshina" she said while everyone understood why shee signed the papers

"Dada...you blackmailed her to sign the papers, how can you do that?" Som asked unbelievingly

"Boudi you could have denied him" batuk said with teary eyes

He don't want his best friend like boudi to go from the house.

"Once guru dronacharya asked eklavya to give him guru dakshina by cutting his thumb and he happily agreed to it without thinking twice then why should I deny to give my shikshak babu from giving what he deserves.

He just asked me to sign the divorce papers, if he asked me to cut my finger and give him then I would have done that too" she said looking at anirudh

While anirudh was feeling guilty to make her do this...
