chapter thirty;

━━━━━━ "HIMIKO, WHAT TIME IS IT?", KISA ASKED, looking around as if re-destro would just pop out of nowhere.

"mmm...it's currently 4:30 in the afternoon, why?"

kisa yawned, as if there weren't even more buildings burning past her.

"I need to get home soon. inasa ordered some damn good food today. oh! which reminds me, you should definitely join us for dinner", kisa smiled, to which toga just happily cheered.

"god damnit", shigaraki muttered underneath his breath.

"when do you think re-destro's going to show up?", chisaki asked, loosening his tie as he leaned back a bit.

"who knows? he's probably cowering in fear since he underestimated how powerful kisa is", dabi smirked.

     "not necessarily", inasa commented. "he could be waiting for the right time to catch her off guard".

     "but she's not the type to come unprepared either. she seems to know them very well, including their quirks", shigaraki chimed in, lightly scratching his neck before halting.

     "look at the strap around her waist. she must of brought something to aid her in advance", chisaki pointed out, to which all eyes were back on the screen once more.

"kisa, what if he's not coming?", toga asked.

"hm? ah, well he has to, because we have to make it home by 5:30. and there's quite a bit of traveling we need to do", kisa answered as she casually snapped her fingers and the people around them burned with agonizing screams.

     kisa then unhinged her pocket, taking out two revolvers and loading six bullets in each.

     "woah!! when'd you get those guns?", toga asked, to which kisa just smiled.

"I bought it with inasa's credit card", the girl sweetly answered, to which the dark-haired male—who was watching from the other side of the screen—cringed at what he had allowed the girl to buy.

"ooohhhhh, can I play with—"

     "so you're tamotsu kisa, the seven-tailed fox", a deep voice interrupted, making both girls spin around.

     "ah, re-destro!! I've been looking for you!! I thought I had to destroy the whole entire city to get you to come out", kisa mused.

     "you already did", the male responded, glaring at kisa.

kisa looked around as if she were noticing her surroundings for the first time in a while.

     "oh! I suppose I did", kisa chuckled, readying her two revolvers as she stuck them back into the pocket attached to her strap.

     re-destro immediately buffed himself up, with his black jacket lined with white lines and a toad green button up and tie.

kisa was least to say impressed, as the man could be on par with the girl herself with his superhuman strength and speed. though the challenge only made kisa's blood pump more excitedly.

"and I suppose I had killed one of your precious subordinates, curious. pity, she was such a pretty woman", kisa mocked, to which the orange-haired man had immediately started punching at the girl with his enlarged fists.

"HOW DARE YOU?! YOU COME TO DEIKA CITY AND DEMAND THAT WE WORK UNDER YOU! you're too full of yourself, you vixen!", re-destro spat as he threw another punch at kisa, who had narrowly dodged it.

kisa just laughed. "I didn't come for no reason. I had nicely offered you a partnership", kisa calmly said as she shot balls of black flames at the man, who didn't even bother to bolt from it, as it had burned a few spots on his suit.

"partnership my ass! you wanted the whole meta liberation army to work under the wild villains, league of villains, and the shie hassaikai! like hell I'd invest in them. in fact, I plan on destroying them all", re-destro claimed, watching as kisa jumped onto a rubble that used to be a building.

"now now, you have a successful company and many people who work under you. what's the problem of lending my husbands some?", kisa asked as she hung upside down from a set of wires that were nearly on the verge of crashing down.

re-destro then hastily lunged forward at the girl, who had quickly swerved the other way as she wobbly landed on her heels, much to toga's amazement.

"your husbands don't even have the same goals. in fact, they're quite pathetic. not even being able to gather their own resources", re-destro insulted, to which kisa had clicked her tongue in distaste.

     the girl unconsciously scowled as she watched re-destro chase her around the city, meanwhile the man had continued pushing the girl's patience to the edge.

     "come on, is this all you're capable of? I thought nine-tailed foxes were able to transform into an actual destruction machine. but I suppose since you'll only ever be a seven-tailed fo—"

     kisa dangerously glared at re-destro as she halted and took out the gun from her right pocket, carefully aiming it at re-destro's two legs.

     believing that it was just a normal bullet, re-destro failed to realize that his body had suddenly shrunk back to its normal size.

     with the two bullets deep in his thighs, re-destro lost his balance as he fell onto the ground, to which kisa had dangerously grinned as her nails sharpened to the point that it had easily sliced off both the man's legs.

     "you're welcome!! I just saved you from losing your quirk re-destro. how should you repay me?", kisa sweetly smiled.

     "w-wha—"

     "quirk-canceling bullets! ah right, my husband kai made them. quite effective don't you think?", kisa asked, feigning innocence as she harshly stepped her heel onto the side of the man's face.

     chisaki flinched at the mentioning of his name. he wasn't even aware of the fact that the girl had taken some of his specialized bullets for this.

     "listen here re-destro. I'm giving you two options. either you live and you follow those four for the rest of you life, or you die along with the rest of your loyal subordinates", kisa grinned.

     re-destro struggled to properly talk and breathe under the girl's foot. the orange-haired male has never been more humiliated in his entire life, with his army being taken down by a mere yōkai in less than a day.

     "kisa-chan, it's 5:56!", toga reminded, to which the dark-haired girl had just sighed.

     "hurry up! I need to get home for christmas dinner", kisa ushered, to which re-destro had watched the rest of his members—along with trumpet and geten—standing in fear around them two.

     with his entire beloved city destroyed, re-destro had no other choice than to comply.

     "I...pick option one", the man uttered out, to which kisa was pleased, even as to removing the presence of her heel on the man's face.

     "good pick. then I suppose from now on you'll be working under the four", kisa casually waved as she stretched her arms, tired from the hours of constant fighting.

     re-destro propped the top half of his body up, grimacing as he watched kisa leave.

     "why're you doing this for them? what benefits are you receiving in return?", the injured male questioned.

     kisa swiftly spun around with a malicious glimmer in her eyes, smiling like the devil's incarnation.

     "as you humans say...love knows no bounds, right?"

     kisa arrived home with toga jumping behind her in excitement. as soon as the girl entered, both were greeted with silence.

     "hm? where are they? and where's the food?", kisa asked, to which toga just shrugged.

     immediately, the dark-haired girl was enveloped into a warm hug, making her chuckle.

"oh my. looks like someone missed me", kisa teased as she looked up to see inasa, meanwhile the other three followed behind.

"are you stupid? you could've gotten killed", shigaraki growled, to which kisa had greeted him with a kiss to his neck.

"but did I?", kisa asked.

"must say, you looked pretty badass out there princess", dabi grinned, to which kisa had kissed the male's chin, since she was quite short even with heels on.

"awww kisa-channnn, why don't you ever give me kisses", toga whined, to which the girl just patted toga's head as she placed one on top of the girl's forehead.

"quit it toga", shigaraki scowled, grabbing kisa's wrist with four fingers as he dragged the girl towards the dining area.

"what was the point of doing all that? and when'd your steal the bullets?", chisaki asked, as he seated across from kisa, who was between shigaraki and dabi.

"I do hope you're not upset that I took them. after all, isn't christmas all about giving?", kisa smiled, taking a sip of white wine.

chisaki just sighed, removing his black mask as he took a sip too.

"and plus, the meta liberation army is now in the control of you four. that's my christmas present to you all", kisa smirked, cutting into her steak.

"why would you—"

"the people, the money, and the power. isn't that what you all wanted from the very beginning?"
