chapter fourteen;
━━━━━━ "I SEE YOU'RE FEELING BETTER", DABI COMMENTED, to which kisa just smiled and gave the rest a curt nod.
"I must say, kai did a great job taking care of me", kisa said as she glanced over at the male, who had just looked away.
shigaraki huffed as he also looked away, to which kisa had promptly taken shigaraki's hands in hers, pulling him into a hug.
"did you miss me tomura?", kisa whispered, looking up at shigaraki's embarrassed face as he turned his head away.
"no!", shigaraki scoffed, to which kisa had pouted.
"well I surely did princess", dabi grinned as he snatched kisa out of shigaraki's grasp, making the male scowl.
"I'm sure you did dabi", kisa chuckled, giving the male a hug too before she made her way over to inasa.
"are you going to deny missing me too?", the girl asked, to which inasa just sighed, tired of being here.
the male extended his arms as kisa fell into his embrace, smiling as she nuzzled her face into his chest.
"anyways, shouldn't you tell us about your plan?", chisaki grumbled.
"hm? the wedding plan or why I brought todoroki and bakugo up into the mountains plan?"
"both", chisaki answered, to which she had promptly invited the males to sit down at a round table, meanwhile she took her seat on inasa's lap, to which the male didn't mind as much as he thought he would've.
"ah well I told you guys, I didn't want you four to get stolen by the yuki onna", kisa huffed, to which dabi just snorted.
"worried someone's going to take us away princess?", dabi teased, to which kisa had laid her head against inasa's shoulder.
"I am, and?"
dabi halted at that. he didn't expect to receive such a blunt answer after all.
chisaki cleared his throat. "and?"
"and so I brought bakugo and todoroki, used them as bait to lure the yuki onna out. father and her made a deal a while back that we wouldn't trespass each other's territories, but I persuaded her that this was urgent", kisa explained.
"what was it that you needed from her?", shigaraki asked.
"the mountains that she resides at have rocks with metal in them; ores is what you humans call it. I need to extract the metal from the rocks so I can make weapons, specifically kanabōs", kisa said, picking up inasa's left hand and interlacing it with her right.
"and what do you need kanabōs for?", dabi asked, meanwhile inasa glanced down at his and kisa's intertwined fingers.
"for the onis of course!", kisa smiled, to which inasa had remembered the encounter at the hunting grounds that night.
"onis?"
"mhm! didn't inasa mention them a while back?", kisa asked, to which the girl had received a few head nods.
"anyways, for our wedding, it's going to be held in two weeks. the ceremony will happen above the villages", kisa briefly explained, to which dabi had raised a brow in confusion.
"did you just say....above the villages?"
"mhm. why?"
"oh I don't know, maybe explain how we're going to have our wedding in the middle of the sky?!", dabi asked, to which kisa just laughed.
"there'll be a road paved. the four of you will walk down the aisle first, then my father will bring me to you all. at the end of the road, our ceremony will take place. it supposedly symbolizes an everlasting marriage", kisa smiled, creeping her hand up to the back of inasa's head and calmly brushing her fingers through the boy's hair.
"I see...and all our suits are black?", chisaki confirmed.
"yes, but I've got a small present for the each of you, so you four won't look exactly the same", kisa said, to which that had reminded her of something.
"oh, we must get the rings today", the girl suddenly perked up as she slipped off inasa's lap, hastily standing up as she pulled inasa up along with her.
"come on now. we don't have all day", kisa casually said as she already started heading out with inasa.
the three men looked at each other in confusion. how was it that this woman just thought of this with a splurge of a thought?

arriving at hayakawa village, inasa and the others gazed around in amazement.
"ah, princess kis—"
she immediately hushed the old man, to which he had just nodded in understanding.
"just call me kisa, no need for formalities fuji-san", the girl smiled as the old yōkai just nodded.
"and who have you brought with you today? it's been a while since you've visited", the old man chuckled.
"this one's dabi; that one's shigaraki tomura, and these two are inasa and chisaki kai. they're all my fiancées", kisa introduced.
the four men simply gave a head nod of acknowledgment, to which the old yōkai just stroked his beard.
"oh my, that's quite a few", the old man laughed.
"indeed", kisa agreed with a smile. "though I do apologize for not visiting as often anymore. I've been caught up with work".
"no need princ—kisa. I understand that you're a hard worker", the old man said as he got out his notebook and pencil.
"now what may I do for you five today?"
"we want five wedding rings. I remember promising you that if I ever got married, I'd get my ring made by you", kisa smiled, to which the old man had reminisced the old times.
"ah yes yes...and what would you like it to look like?", fuji asked.
"come take a look for yourselves boys", kisa said as fuji took out another notebook, this time it was wider in width and length, with the pages filled to the brim on different designs of wedding rings.
meanwhile the four looked through the book, kisa had snatched the tiny notebook and pencil, randomly sketching as she waited for the four to decide.
"I see you have a similar taste to your mother's", fuji commented, making kisa slightly flinch.
"pardon?"
fuji gently slid the notepad away from kisa and turned a few pages back, showcasing a ring that was similarly sketched to the one kisa was just now drawing.
"is this...really mother's?"
fuji nodded, to which the four men's attention was suddenly turned to kisa and the old yōkai.
"your mother was very excited. I can still remember her stressing over the smallest details. the ring has to be perfect, she said", fuji chuckled.
kisa gave a weak laugh as she turned back to her own ring.
"pity the marriage didn't last long", kisa mumbled, to which the atmosphere immediately tensed up at that comment.
"though I do really like my own sketch. what do you four think?", kisa asked, smiling as if she didn't just drop a bomb on them earlier.
dabi snatched the notepad and skimmed over it.
"I like it", the scarred male said.
"I'm fine with whatever", inasa replied, to which chisaki had nodded in agreement.
"if you like it, then it's fine", shigaraki mumbled, to which dabi had returned the notebook to the girl, who in turn gave it back to fuji.
"since we're all in agreement, I'm counting on you fuji-san".
the old man smiled as he chuckled. "I'm glad you've found a ring you all like. I'm even more glad that you've found four men who care for you kisa".
kisa tilted her head to the side in confusion.
"oh kisa, don't tell me you don't see how they cave in towards your desires. if that's not spoiling you, then I don't know what is", the old man chuckled.
"I'm afraid you're mistaken fuji-san", the girl smiled, to which the old man gave the girl a confused look.
kisa looked over at the four males, as she turned back to the old yōkai.
"if anything, I'm spoiling them".
