chapter eleven;

━━━━━━ "I SUGGEST WE TAKE THEM TO THE MOST beautiful parts of our land as compensation for what has happened. I know you four might not want to stay here with your friends, but it'd be an honor to have you guys give us a chance of redemption", kisa politely offered.

     all might seemed to hum in consideration meanwhile kisa glanced over at todoroki, who stiffened under the girl's gaze.

     todoroki then stepped forward, expressing his own opinion.

     "I would like to give the nine-tailed foxes another chance. after all, it'd be hypocritical of us to assume that they are all the same", todoroki calmly said.

     "since young todoroki desires to stay, I suppose you won't mind?", all might questioned, to which kisa had smiled.

     "not at all sir. in fact, I'd be happy to show todoroki-kun around", kisa insisted.

     "very well!! now, anybody else?", all might asked.

     a few hesitantly shuffled around as none really stepped up to the occasion.

"no worries. if any of you ever want to visit again, I promise to greet you all with welcoming arms. after all, many things are going to change about this place", kisa chuckled, to which all might had just nodded.

"well in that case, we will start heading back to the human world. the carriages are already prepared. I hope to see you soon at your wedding kisa", all might loudly laughed.

"indeed. stay safe on the road", kisa bowed as she watched the heroes trickle out, all except todoroki and bakugo.

"will you be staying too bakugo?", kisa asked, a bit surprised.

"tch! if icyhot can, why can't I too?", the boy scowled.

kisa lightly chuckled. "I never said you couldn't. well, I suppose we could head out on a journey tomorrow towards the snowy mountains. it's wonderful up there. no matter the season, it'll always be snowing".

"yeah whatever", bakugo scoffed as he walked off, with todoroki following behind.

"why is he staying?", dabi lowly growled.

"why are they both staying?", shigaraki asked, clearly not pleased either.

     "my my, since when did you two become so jealous?", kisa teased, pulling the two league of villains into a hug.

     dabi and shigaraki practically sandwiched the girl, making chisaki and inasa click their tongue in sync.

     "now, they might be heroes, but with due time, who knows?"

     "you're not implying that..."

     "in fact I am", kisa smirked. "their quirks are quite useful for the wintry mountains".

     "and so is mine", dabi grunted.

     kisa pinched the boy's cheek. "quit being a jealous little brat dabi. I'm not bringing you four because I'm not risking you four being seduced by some snow hoe", kisa huffed, moving out of dabi and shigaraki's embrace.

"oho? and who's this snow hoe that you speak of?", dabi grinned, to which kisa was about to answer before a little body collided with hers.

"NEE-CHAN!! I'VE GOT IT, I'VE GOT IT!!", kaoru exclaimed, to which kisa happily picked the boy up.

"what have you got kaoru?", kisa asked, taking a seat with kaoru on her lap.

     "so uncle twice and I have been working on their tuxes", kaoru started, to which the little boy had clapped his hands, signaling for the servants to bring in the mannequins.

the four men raised a brow in curiosity as 10 mannequins with full on black tuxes were placed in front of them.

"oh my kaoru. you and twice have surely outdone yourselves!", kisa laughed as she stood up with kaoru to examine each and every suit.

"come on you four. this is your wedding day too", kisa urged, feeling the fabric of the first and second one.

"I'm not wearing this fabric on my body", chisaki scowled, to which the servant had taken the mannequin away.

"this one looks too old", dabi commented.

"this looks too plain", inasa scoffed.

     shigaraki simply disintegrated the one he didn't like, to which kisa just smiled at the boys' pickiness.

     "kisa nee-chan, can I sleep with you tonight? you can even read me one of your weird human fairytales", kaoru asked, to which kisa felt an arrow pierce her heart internally.

the girl held in a squeal as she pick kaoru up once more, hugging him tightly while the boy hugged back, confused.

"you're just too cute kaoru. you're welcome to come read fairytales with me anytime", the girl smiled, placing many kisses on the boy's head.

kaoru giggled as he wrapped his tiny arms around kisa's neck, gaining the attention of the four men.

     "did you four decide on one that you all like?", kisa asked, to which shigaraki and the other three stared at a particular black tux, that had a durable fabric and moderately new style.

     "wonderful! you over there", kisa pointed, to which the fox servant had perked up in acknowledgement.

     "when I'm out with our guests tomorrow, get their measurements and start on the suits. make sure not a single thread is out of place", kisa demanded.

     "yes your highness".

     "where and who are you going with tomorrow nee-chan?"

     "up the snowy mountains with todoroki and bakugo", kisa shortly answered, to which kaoru just nodded.

     "anyways, goodnight boys. I shall see you four when I come back from my outing", kisa smiled as she walked over to them with kaoru in her arms.

     the girl kissed shigaraki, inasa, and dabi—who had to bend down a bit—on the cheek, meanwhile chisaki had lifted his hand up for the girl.

     kaoru fake gagged, making kisa smile and pinch the little boy's cheek.

     "you cheeky little brat. this is going to be you in about 15 years....soon you'll leave me for some pretty lady", kisa sighed.

     "nuh-uhh!! I'll stay with nee-chan forever!", kaoru huffed, to which kisa just smiled.

     "you best remember what you said".

     "nee-channnnn, why do you have to put lotion on my face everyday?", kaoru whined, sitting on the girl's bed meanwhile kisa rubbed lotion all over the boy's arms and face.

"if I don't help you moisturize, you'll end up like tomura", kisa joked, to which kaoru gasped as he ceased his complaints.

"alright I'm done now", kisa smiled as she placed the lotion bottle back on the nightstand and turned off the lights, meanwhile kaoru snuggled into the girl's blanket.

kisa soon crawled in as she cuddled little kaoru, who had only snuggled closer as he curled up into a little ball.

     "kisa nee-chan?", kaoru meekly called out.

"mhm?"

     "does it still hurt?", kaoru asked, to which kisa just bitterly smiled.

     "no...at least not physically anymore. why're you asking?"

     kaoru just shrugged his shoulders.

     "do you really want to be the first empress?", kaoru asked, to which kisa just nodded.

"why?"

"kaoru...some things should be explained once you're older", kisa mumbled, gently petting the boy's head.

     "nee-chan, you've been saying that for the past two years!", the little boy whined, making kisa quietly chuckle.

     "and perhaps you'll have to wait another few", kisa teased, making kaoru pout.

     "though I will say...when I become empress, you'll become the happiest little boy in world. you will do as you please, with no one forcing you to be what you don't want", kisa assured, to which kaoru had smiled.

ever since tamotsu kaoru was born, he was known as the heir, the successor to the throne of the nine-tailed foxes. there was never a day the little boy wasn't reminded of his status, as he was treated like a precious pearl, cherished and valued.

that is, until he had met his second sister one day. the girl was 17 when he was 3, waddling around the garden meanwhile kisa was practicing with a katana.

at first glance, kaoru was intrigued by the mix of femininity and masculinity the girl possessed. to him, if anyone should be on the throne, it should be kisa.

hence, the boy had decided since then that he would always support kisa, no matter what.

"I know I will, because nee-chan will be the best empress there is!", kaoru exclaimed, making kisa chuckle.

"quit flattering me kaoru. I have a long day tomorrow, so go to sleep".

"then can I hang out with your fiancées tomorrow??", kaoru asked.

"whatever you want, my little fox", kisa smiled as she kissed the top of the boy's forehead, closing her eyes as she rhythmically patted the boy's back.

kaoru widely smiled as he closed his eyes too, enjoying the calming presence of his precious sister.
