β The woman had gone through so much over the twenty-seven years following that summer. Some things were so awful that she had tried her hardest to suppress the memories of them, but she had failed every time. She had become an orphan and went to live with her boyfriend and his parents until they graduated because she didn't want her grandmother to take her away from the one person left in her life that meant the entire world to her.
So Stephanie Palmer had stayed with William Denbrough, and she vowed to do so until the day that she died; their connection was too strong to snap in half, and they had to stay together. I mean, that's what two people in love would've done: they would have ran away from the utter hell of their lives and walked through fire for each other. They were so deeply in love that they would've died for each other, no matter what the cost was.
So, for over two and a half decades, they stuck together. They moved away to New York after high school ended and got married during their senior year of college. They bought a house together and started their careers; Bill as an author and Steph as an actress, and the two were happier than ever, their love still going strong nineteen years after their marriage. But one thing had never occurred to them: they were still suffering from trauma and they couldn't even recall where they had gotten it from. They tried their best to ignore it, but they constantly had nightmares about things that they weren't able to remember the next morning.
It was all a strange occurrence that the two slowly grew used to, even though it was absolutely frustrating to deal with.
But the married couple are still surprised when someone from their past calls them up in September of 2016 to tell them some unsettling news: It has returned and they need to return home to finish it.
With the scars on their left hands stinging from a blood oath that they can't even recollect from the fragments of memories slowly coming back to them, the two adults go back to the dreadful town of Derry, Maine to finish what they had unknowingly started twenty-seven years ago with one goal in mind... and that is to end the nightmare that had begun for them as teenagers... and had never stopped.
A/N: so, here we are! i'm making the layout of this book even before the first book is finished, and i still have a long way to go before that book is done. but not to worry! i will hype this story up with a graphics gallery and such! and trust me when i tell you that you're not prepared for all kinds of shit to hit the fan this time around!
i already have almost the entire book planned from start to finish with only a few details to tweak. unlike the first book, this one has been planned ahead of time and this one is even crazier.
while the first book focused on suspense and dread, this one is more action-y than its predecessor. this book will not let you breathe for that long so be looking forward to that lolπ€ͺ
this story makes TONS of movie and tv show references throughout. to name a few movies and tv shows that will be homaged: wes craven's new nightmare, halloween kills and ends, the last of us HBO, screams 3, 5, and 6, the ring two, a quiet place part 2, and many many more!
but this book is story-focused as well and will mainly follow amber and steph for the most part. and i am happy to tell you that amber is really the main protagonist this time around and gets way more time to shine than last time.
HUGE TRIGGER WARNING: this book contains murder, graphic gore and violence, severe swearing, PTSD, depression, grief, character deaths, horrifying moments, suspense, sexual content, homophobia (unfortunately) and a creepy ass clown. if you are triggered by any of these topics, maybe skip this book entirely or proceed with caution. i will put out warnings for each chapter these topics are in.
THIS BOOK IS DEDICATED TO: whovianfan , Kpoplover718 , EL0DIES , MsAndreaAmbrose , and mqrgotssmile !! i hope you guys enjoy this book after the first one is finished!
now, be looking forward to the first chapter of my It sequel, "Losers Stick Together!"
