"Remember:" Aizawa sighed irritably, "We're only letting you spend the day at this fare because it will benefit your French. This isn't playtime; You have to be respectful to the citizens and not getting lost is completely up to you."

Vlad King side-eyed Aizawa wearily before shaking his head and turning to you all, "Most importantly have fun!"

"N/N," Toru nudged you, "Come on, let's go on that rollercoaster with the motorcycles. Jirou and Momo are already swapping out their money for tickets."

You looked over at Kirishima, who was calling out your name and waving.

It was either your best friends or him.

"Uh-" you looked between Jirou and Kirishima awkwardly.

Kirishima was with the Bakusquad, and if you went with him, you would be able to help him with Mina like you promised; Whereas you could go to a fun fare with your best friends any time you wanted.

Jirou pursed her lips and walked away, leaving you to shamefully look at the ground.

"Finally," Kirishima grinned, "We should go on the one where it swings you around in the air, but like really high!"

You felt your body grow cold as you looked up at the ride he was talking about.

"It'll be fine, you can cling onto my arm if you're scared. Besides, the squad is going there too, so perfect opportunity." he pleaded.

"Ejiro, I'm scared of-"

"KIRI! GET HERE NOW!" Kaminari yelled from the ticket booth, jumping around like a possessed gorilla.

"Let's go!" the redhead laughed, grabbing your hand and dragging you to where the Bakusquad was already getting strapped in.

Since it was like a cylinder with seats around it, you were all picking where you were going to sit in the back-to-back circle.

While everyone spoke animatedly, you were unusually quiet.

You had completely lost your personality now that you were faced with your biggest fear. You had no idea where the petty anger issues Y/N had gone.

"What's the matter, nerd?" Bakugo raised an eyebrow after casting a side glance at you. He hadn't even noticed you were there until Kirishima told you to sit next to him.

Mina shoved Kirishima out and sat in his place.

"Y/N," she smirked, "You've got goosebumps on your arms, don't tell me you're scared of heights!"

Bakugo was a little surprised. As far as he knew, you weren't scared of anything. Except him of course.

"And you've got smug written on your forehead. You probably didn't see it under that ugly fringe." you deadpanned.

"You're shaking in your boots, you're so scared." Bakugo grinned in disbelief.

"Piss off," you glared, "I'm not scared."

"Is that so?" he smirked.

Your eyes widened slightly. The blonde had crossed his arms, which made his biceps much more prominent in the black vest he was wearing. You felt nauseous. Your heart dipped a little and your breathing stopped for a second.

"Come on guys, it's about to start!" Kaminari called as Kirishima sat down on your other side.

Bakugo strapped himself to the right of Kirishima, and Kaminari strapped himself to the right of Bakugo, and then Sero strapped himself to the right of Kaminari, who was strapped to the right of Mina.

The man shouted that he was going to start the machine and you felt like you were going to vomit.

"Ejiro!" you gritted your teeth, "I don't wanna do this!"

"You'll be fine."

Your face contorted as you shut your eyes tightly, feeling your seat start to lift up.

"No- I really can't!" you squirmed, the machine only taking you higher and higher.

It was going to start spinning round and round when you got the top, continuing its movements on the way down.

"OPEN YOUR EYES!" Kirishima shouted, laughing.

"NO!" you shouted back as the wind blew against your face.

"ARE WE AT THE TOP?" Sero screamed.

"KIRISHIMA!" you shrieked as you started whirling around.

This was the worst thing you'd ever done. You were absolutely terrified and you regretted not going with Jirou, Momo, and Toru.

"IT'S NOT THAT BAD, JUST OPEN YOUR EYES!"

All you could hear was rushing wind, Mina and Kirishima's laughing, and everyone else's high-pitched screams.

It felt like it would never end.

After what seemed like hours, you finally felt yourself slow down and your feet hit the ground.

You opened your eyes slowly, frantically undoing the straps and waddling the hell away from the machine.

"You okay?" Sero asked, coming up behind you, "Woah, you're shaking!"

You looked up at him as your whole body shook from the PTSD.

"Why do you look so traumatized?" Kaminari snorted, but stopped quickly when Sero shot him a look.

"I'm just scared of heights."

"Oh, come here chica." Sero sighed, wrapping you into a hug, "Why did you go on it if you were scared?"

"Ejirou wanted me to go." you explained against his chest.

"It's okay." he said soothingly, tracing small circles on your back to calm your trembling, "KIRISHIMA YOU'RE A SHIT FRIEND!"

Bakugo strolled over to the two of you, a smirk on his face.

"Well, that was just pathetic."

Sero raised an eyebrow, "She's-"

"I'm fine now." you quickly pulled away, laughing to distract from the embarrassing scene you just caused, "Thanks, Sero."

Bakugo looked between you, Sero, and Kirishima who was rolling around on the grass with Mina, both of them dying of laughter from the ride.

"Okay," Sero broke the silence, "Kirishima!"

Kirishima and Mina got up and dusted themselves off, laughing again as they looked at each other before walking over to you guys.

 "Yeah, what's up?" he grinned.

"You need to make up for what you just put L/N through." Sero crossed his arms.

"What do you mean?"

"She's scared of heights, dude." Kaminari raised his eyebrows.

The whole time Sero and Kaminari argued with Kirishima, you could feel Bakugo's stare.

"Guys, it's really fine-"

"No, L/N, it's not- it's such a shitty thing to do- and you don't deserve that." Sero rolled his eyes.

"Well I wouldn't go that far... I mean I'm not all that." you said honestly.

"For real!" Mina agreed.

"Ashido, respectfully shut up." said Sero, "Kirishima you should make it up to L/N by going with her to all the rides that she wants to go to."

You fought to hold back your smirk. Why did you kinda want Sero now?

"Okay." Kirishima scratched the back of his neck, "Y/N I'm sorry for not listening to you."

You and the Bakusquad went on so many rides together: The horse carousel, the dropper, the upside-down rollercoaster, and now you were trying to persuade them to go on the ride through the Haunted House.

"Who made you the leader?" Bakugo objected irritably.

"You are so boring!"

"Shut up!"

"Make me!"

The words had come out of your mouth like a reflex before you could think about the alternative implications. Bakugo looked stunned for a moment, but quickly reverted to his usual scowl.

"Katsu, you have to sit next to me!" Mina beamed, "And Y/N and Kirishima can go behind us, and then Sero and Denki can go behind them!"

"Actually-" Kirishima interjected, "Mina, we should sit together since we haven't done it yet. Bakubro can go with Y/N."

"It's whatever." Bakugo shrugged, his hands in his pockets.

Everyone else was securing and fastening themselves in except you. You were struggling for some reason.

You suddenly felt a presence leaning over your shoulder.

"I think you're doing that wrong."

"I think I'm gonna smash your face in."

The blonde chuckled mockingly, "You couldn't lay a finger on me."

"You know WHAT-"

You were cut off when the carts jolted and began to move inside a dark entrance; Thankfully, you managed to secure yourself in time.

"Guys, California girls are unforgettable."

"Shut up Denki!"

You all jumped when a skeleton spawned out of nowhere, reflected in red lights.

"Dios mio!" Sero whispered as the carts slowly went past some creepy-looking statues.

It was so dark you could barely see anything except the scary obstacles illuminated by colours of red, green, or purple.

Feeling Bakugo cross his arms and sigh under his breath made your heart rate speed up, particularly due to the fact that your shoulders were now touching.

That feeling- the anxiety that made your stomach churn was back in full force.

"This is so lame..." he muttered.

If the lights were on, you were sure everyone would be able to see how tense you looked: Sitting stiff as a board and staring straight ahead with wide eyes.

"GUYS!" Denki and Sero suddenly shrieked from the front.

Before you could even respond, the two had begun screaming their heads off, shortly followed by Mina and Kirishima.

"What the hell is going on over there!?" Bakugo shouted, squinting his eyes in the darkness.

All that could be heard were the four's shrill screeches, and you knew that you and Bakugo would be next. Absolutely shitting yourself, you reached out and grabbed onto the blonde's sleeve without thinking.

He opened his mouth to object but found himself not being able to, a strange feeling coming over him as your grasp on his sleeve tightened.

A high-pitched scream escaped your lips as your cart suddenly flipped upside down and dunked your bodies into murky black water.

It was gut-wrenching. You were getting tossed around underwater, unable to leave your seat. Your vision was completely dimmed, and you could only feel Katsuki's warm skin in contrast to the cold liquid while you latched onto his arm like a leech.

You both gasped for air, panting, when you finally got flipped back up.

"What the fuck was that!" you cried out, still holding onto Bakugo unawares.

He was shivering, trying to find the willpower to move, but something was holding him back. His stomach twisted as he came to the horrible realisation that he didn't want you to let go.

Meanwhile, Denki, Sero, Kirishima, and Mina were crashing out.

They yelled all sorts of profanities, cussing out the creators of the ride as you finally arrived back outside, scrambling out of your seats.

All your clothes were soaking wet, clinging to your bodies like spandex.

"Sorry..." you trailed off in embarrassment. You had made yourself look weak in front of your biggest rival. Your eyes flickered down to the defined abs protruding through his wet shirt.

Your mind went astray, thinking about how they would feel under your hands as you sub-consciously bit your lip. You looked up at him to find his gaze was already on you.

Neither of you looked away for what felt like days.

Bakugo didn't respond to your apology, finally averting his eyes irritably to the side. A subtle shade of vermillion dusted his cheeks.

It was awkward now. There was a weird tension hanging in the air between the two of you, and his silence made it even worse.

Luckily for you, Kirishima called you over to help Mina. She was crying, mascara running down her cheeks and cold water dripping from her hair.

"How'd it go?" the redhead whispered to you as he patted her down with some towel.

"What are you talking about?" you frowned.

"You know..." Kirishima smirked teasingly, "You and Bakugo."

You immediately felt the heat rush to your cheeks.

"It isn't like that."
