personal characteristics

៹ ⸃⸃ .˚‧ ♱   █   personality      arrogant and prideful are often the first words to come to mind when describing jonathon. though if questioned, these would certainly not be the first words he'd think of.
aware that he is attractive and uses the fact for his own personal gain, and as much as he tends to make people want to gouge his eyes out, most cannot help but to agree, he's alright looking.
not one to become attached to people, has a very small group of people who he could genuinely be affected by emotionally if they left, otherwise, he does not allow many people to affect him. selfish, even to the people who he allows himself to care for, has likely never done anything for the sole benefit of someone else. however, despite all of his anti-hero tendencies, he is somewhat, and only somewhat, of a sweetheart. is inherently kind and gentlemanly underneath the surface level, however has a horrible tendency to act like an ásshole (though, he sort of is) as a defense mechanism.
has a wry, sexual-based humor. has a way of speaking which can make the most inappropriate and embarrassing of subjects mundane and easygoing, soothing, and easy to speak about. horribly blunt about his desires.

៹ ⸃⸃ .˚‧ ♱   █ likes speaking to people; making people unknowingly open up to him, has a certain musical knack and enjoys it thoroughly much to no one's surprise, the god of music's son and all; has dabbled in just about every instrument imaginable, was actually labeled as a prodigy in piano fairly early on, won awards at the national level; however, took a better liking to the acoustic and electric guitar, buries the whole piano prodigy thing to the point just about no one knows. the bow and arrow, as it is his preferred weapon of choice. sunlight, and being outdoors.
៹ ⸃⸃ .˚‧ ♱   █ dislikes being indoors for longer than a couple of hours at a time, the lack of sun during the winter, feeling ignored or disconnected from others. attachment, or people who are overly clingy/protective because of his issue with commitment to others.
៹ ⸃⸃ .˚‧ ♱   █ backstory was an only child for the majority of his life, and unlike many other only children, never particularly minded. he didn't feel lonely, and never felt forgotten about. for the majority of his childhood, it was he and his mother fending for themselves. though, he'd known who his father was from the beginning, unsurprisingly, apollo was not necessary present throughout jonathon's lifetime. though, he always remembered and still holds his mother's face as the sun dipped under the horizon and the many stories she had told him of who apollo was in his heart.

៹ ⸃⸃ .˚‧ ♱   █ admin's note this character was a long one, but also the first one in my new format! the colors in this are sort of 'traditionally' feminine, and I kind of liked that for this character. plus this new format is, at least I think, a lot more pleasing, now I just have to change all the others into this one. frick.
