Susan had heard of train crashs before.
She knew people who had lost their family that way.
But never, not one second of her life, she had though that a train crash would take her family away.
When she opened the door and saw the policeman her heart dropped.
"Miss Susan Pevensie?", he asked and Susan nodded.
"I am sorry to tell you-", he started, but Susan knew.
Her legs didn't keep her up anymore and she grabbed the doorframe to keep herself standing while tears rolled down her cheeks.
The man tried to talk to her, but Susan didn't hear him.
Dead.
Peter.
Edmund.
Lucy.
But was it only them? Or were there more?
Dead.
The only word filling her mind.
Dead.
Gone.
Like a flower in the autumn.
Gone.
And there was no way to get them back.
