3rd Person POV
About 10 hours later, Kaitlyn's flight finally touched Italian ground as she had compelled herself a private jet to get there ASAP and she had finally reached her destination- the secret Jupiter Coven.
"You're not allowed to be here," Kaitlyn hears a familiar voice from behind her, causing her to turn around and smile at them.
"Nice to see you again, Bella," she greets, trying to rile up the Third in command- Bellatrix.
"Don't call me that," Bellatrix spats, "why're you here again? Didn't we tell you we can't help?"
"You don't have to," Kaitlyn gives her a tight-lipped smile, "*I found a way. My daughters are safe."
"Then.why.are.you.here?" Bellatrix growls as a new face steps out of the hovel behind them.
"Patience, Bellatrix. We don't greet guests like that," he says as Bellatrix turns around to glare at him.
"We don't greet guests at all," she retorts, "that's the point of living in secret."
"Yes, but this lady must've gone through all this trouble to find us for some reason, wouldn't she? We should hear her out," he suggests with a smile as Kaitlyn smiles at him in appreciation.
"Hi, I am Kaitlyn Hart, it's a pleasure to meet you," she greets while extending her hand out, which he gladly shakes.
"Gideon," he says, "how can we help you?"
"I needed information on someone's whereabouts," she answers as Gideon raises his brow at her.
"And how may we be of help with that?" he quizzes skeptically.
"He was last seen here," she tells him, "your Supreme asked to see him, sent a message through my brother-in-law. And then he just disappeared from here, leaving my brother-in-law behind. I want to know what was it that he was told here."
"If he wanted you to know, he would've told you, wouldn't he?" Bellatrix smirks as Kaitlyn glares at her.
"Just tell me what you know," Kaitlyn snarls through gritted teeth.
"Bella, excuse her for a moment," Gideon speaks up, "I'd like to have a word with the lady alone."
Bellatrix looks flustered but eventually sighs in defeat before walking back inside, purposely bumping into Kaitlyn's shoulder on her way out.
"The Original hybrid is your husband?" Gideon then asks her as he motions for them to walk ahead.
"Um...fiancรฉ, actually," she corrects, "it's complicated. Specially thanks to whatever he heard here, causing him to disappear for two years."
"Oh, I am sorry. I wasn't around for all of that," Gideon states.
"You're new?" Kaitlyn asks in surprise, "I thought private covens don't recruit?"
"They don't," he replies, "I've been a member since birth but I don't get involved in the politics. I'd rather keep to myself and see the world than fight against family for a throne."
"If all royals had the same mindset as you, history would've been so different," Kaitlyn chuckles as they reach a field of green with a small stream nearby.
"Supreme Mathilda is very strict about our coven's secrets and involvement in outer world affairs. I don't think you will find much help here," he tells her.
"But Nik- Klaus," she corrects herself, "he was here last. They must've told him something ."
"I'm not saying they didn't but they wouldn't admit it to you."
"So, what should I do?" Kaitlyn asks in a helpless tone.
"Something tells me you know where he might be, you just have to think close enough," Gideon replies, "I wish I could help you. But I can't. You need to put your faith in yourself."
Kaitlyn sighs at his words, "thanks for trying to help. I'll stop my intrusion now," she says in defeat before turning around and beginning to walk away.
"That bracelet of yours," he speaks up, causing her to turn around, "it emits a strong spell. Maybe it's not as ordinary as you think it is," he says before walking away, leaving Kaitlyn pondering on his words.
"I got our bracelets spelled and linked so if one of us is in danger, the other would know immediately," Klaus' words echo through her mind as her eyes widen in shock. They're linked. She can follow the link to him...unless he's taken his bracelet off.
Kaitlyn immediately settles down on the grass and takes off her bracelet, placing it on her lap as she begins to mutter a spell to decipher the link. After a few more seconds, a neon-blue light emits from the bracelet as she gets engulfed into a vision.
At first, it's dark and Kaitlyn can barely tell what was going on until she hears painful yells coming from somewhere around. She follows the screams as they lead her down a hallway and she comes face to face with the person in possession of the screams.
A helpless-looking man who was covered in blood, tossing and turning, grunting breathless as tears stream down his eyes and he continues to yell in pain. He was held up against a wall, roughly. The person torturing him? Kaitlyn gasps as she catches sight of him- Klaus.
He was covered head to toe in blood, hair disheveled, jaw clenched with one arm wrapped around the other man's neck...and another hand in his chest, grasping onto the person's heart as more blood continued to pour out.
"Tell.me.what.you.know," Klaus growls menacingly.
"I...I don't know anything, I swear. We did not help trigger the curse, we're farmers!" the man cries out in pain as Klaus tightens his grip on the man's heart. 'The man was a warlock,' Kaitlyn deduces.
"Wrong answer, I'll let you try one last time," Klaus warns.
"I told you, I don't know!"
Kaitlyn closes her eyes, knowing what was coming next. She hears a loud shriek escape the person's moth before hearing the sound of something falling limp on the ground. She slowly opens her eyes to see the man lying on the floor, dead. There was a gap where his heart used to be. She looks up to meet her lover's eyes, a bleeding heart in his right hand as he stares blankly at her direction, almost as if he couldn't see her.
"N-Nik?" Kaitlyn mumbles in an uncertain manner, not having thought what she'd even say to him when she saw him next. Yet here he was, almost the worst version of himself, the monster that everyone feared. There were only a few times she had seen Klaus' evil side but even then, it wasn't ever half as bad as what she had seen just now. 'It's all for our daughter,' she reminds herself.
"Can you see me? Hear me?" she asks again as Klaus huffs before turning around, throwing the heart at the dead man's direction before vamp-speeding away from the premises, leaving a flustered Kaitlyn behind. Did he not hear her? See her? Or did he pretend not to?
Just then, Kaitlyn gasps awake as the vision ends and she is brought back to reality.
"He's here," she whispers to herself, "I know where he is." and with that, she immediately gets up to her feet and off to where she had seen him. She had been to Italy so many times that she knew almost all its towns. And she knew the building she had seen. She knew where he was now.

"So, mom's gone where?" Lizzie asks for the hundredth time as the family sits in the kitchen, having breakfast.
"She didn't tell us, Liz. I already told you all I know," Ryan lies.
"Yeah, like I'd believe you," Lizzie scoffs, "you've always been a momma's boy. You'd never tell us."
"She's right, though. Bee just said she needed to take care of something and that she'd be back before we know it," Alaric chimes in as Kol, Davina, Freya and Keelin nod along.
"Is she...is she gone to find dad?" Hope murmurs in a hopeful voice, "I...I begged her to find him yesterday. And then she just left abruptly," she trails off.
"She would've told someone then," Josie points out, "I mean, at least she'd tell Uncle Kol, Uncle Damon and dad, right?"
"Look, she's gone for a day only," Kol speaks up, "and she'll be safely back. So can we stop coming up with scenarios and just have a calm family breakfast?"
"Like anything's ever calm with this family," Lizzie scoffs as Kol glares at her, causing her to shut up and go back to eating quietly as Ryan, Josie and Hope chuckle at her reaction.
Kol might be 'Uncle Koala Bear'ย ย to them for the most part, but that didn't mean they were any less scared of his angry side, having heard stories of his impulse from their mother.

"Bella hold me she was here again?" Supreme Mathilda speaks up while Alatar and Gideon are sat before her on their round-table.
"She was," Gideon answers without fear, "she was looking for her fiancรฉ."
"The abomination?" Mathilda quizzes as Gideon nods hesitantly. He never liked the word, "and what did you tell her?"
"I told her she'd have to count on herself. We don't get involved in external affairs," he answers as Bellatrix narrows her eyes at him.
"Then why did you send me away if that was all you wanted to say to her?" she asks with a skeptical tone.
"Because I wanted to hear her out and you were being hostile towards her, my love," he answers, slowly walking up to her and wrapping his arms around her in a loving manner, "you know I'd never lie to you."
Bellatrix hums in response as Mathilda rolls her eyes at them before getting up and walking away, Alatar following closely.
"Bella," Gideon whispers cautiously.
"Hmm?"
"I saw it," he tells her, "I saw the mark, the link. It was her."
Bellatrix turns around in alarm and stares at him in shock, "wh-what? Are you certain?"
"A hundred percent. I could feel it, Bella. The link is still there...even after 38 years."
"But if that's true, Supreme Mathilda would've told me," Bellatrix murmurs, "she must've felt the bond then. She would've told me."
"Why would she?" Gideon questions, "all your life, she's tried to keep you to herself, away from the outside world, away from your powers. She made you hate the bond, so why would she tell you now?" he quizzes rhetorically as the color drains out of Bellatrix's face.
"Oh my god, it's her," she whispers to herself in shock, trying to grasp into what it meant, "after waiting forever...it's her. She's here."

Triora, Italy
The location was where the last witch trials of Italy happened, known as 'The Salem of Europe' and Kaitlyn was here. The place she had caught a glimpse of her lover in. She wondered why he was after witches, let alone some of the most ancient ones.
On the third hour of looking around all the old buildings in the crooks and crevices of the town, she finally found a trail of blood leading her to a half-broken building at the end of the town border, overlooking France. France. Paris. Her thoughts trail off to their engagement in Paris before she gets snapped out of her thoughts by the loud yells echoing from inside.
As she walks into the establishment, her hearts begins to pound loudly against her ribcage, threatening to burst out. She was going to see him. This time it wasn't a vision. He was real and so was she. Being face to face with each other for the first time in two years.
"Live wasn't kind to you," she hears Klaus' villain-voice echo through the halls, "I was kind enough to grant you the peace that death might have to offer you."
As soon as she catches a glimpse of his, leaning against a pillar, talking to a dead body, she speeds towards him and holds him against a wall with her hand wrapped around his neck.
"Why don't you pick someone your own size for once?" she smirks at him as he stares at her in shock for a second before quickly recovering from it.
"Hello, love," he greets back as Kaitlyn releases him, "to what do I owe this pleasure?"
