You grunted the moment you were thrown into the cell, followed by the rest of your friends. The laughter of the Amethyst's that had finally caught you filled your ears, and you resisted the urge to stand up and shatter them while you had the chance.
But as you growled lowly and fixed yourself to sit on your knees, your eyes met Angel's, and the little girl sniffled helplessly at you and wiped her eyes. "Please," she mouthed, "we need you alive."
You froze for a moment, processing her words. She didn't actually think that you would die trying to fight your way through those Amethyst's, right? You were strong. You could take them.
You wanted to shout. To scream. To yell. The curse words that you had been building up in the back of your mind were now overflowing, and it was so tempting to let the waves of insults and curses flow — even if the children were here with you.
You did not want to be apart of that blasted zoo. Even if they — he killed you for not cooperating, you wouldn't care. All that matters to you is getting the last laugh. Maybe then the Diamonds will actually realize that humans are more of a threat than they thought they were.
It was stupid. You knew that. If the Diamonds began to see human beings as a threat, they would possibly want to kill them all off. But, in your opinion, maybe that would be for the better. Because then the poor souls that were forced to live a life of solitude without knowing of their true homes and origins would finally have peace. They would finally stop living the nightmare they didn't even know that they were in.
The sound of the keypad locking the jail cell sounded throughout your ears, suddenly, and your eyes widened as you whirled around to see that you were now truly locked up. And this time, the others wouldn't be here to help you get out. On the outside, at least.
You slumped to the floor, feeling as if the blood in your face had been drained. You could see the others try to get through to you; to try and get you to calm down. But it was already too late.
You were mad.
