This is just a rant. Sorry to disappoint any of you if you thought that this was a chapter, I just wanted to get this out because I've seen and read some things on here and other places and now I'm just mad at most of the fandom right now.

Steg:

Okay, so people are saying that Steg is over sexualized and that they think that the fusions wrong because apparently fusion to them is sex.

What.

The.

Hell.

First things first, fusion represents relationships. And believe it or not, the relationships aren't always romantic ones. They can be platonic and/or familial, too. So for the people who are saying that fusion is 'sex':

GET OUT NOW.

I am sick and tired of listening to rants about how Steven shouldn't fuse with Greg or whatever, because I'll have you know that they are fusing due to their familial love. They are FAMILY, and that means that they LOVE EACHOTHER AS FAMILY.

And about Steg being over sexualized, I can see why people would think that. But honestly, the way I see it, Steg only looks like the way he does because that's how Steven and Greg see eachother: as someone strong, with muscles and such. I read this one rant on Wattpad, and they were saying things about Steg that honestly disgust me.

Let me make something clear: if you don't "like"  something, then KEEP IT TO YOURSELF BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT.

The Ship Between Steven and Spinel:

Let people ship what they want to ship. Steven and Spinel and everyone else in SU are fictional characters; they aren't real. If you don't like a ship, then ignore it. Don't go attacking people just because they don't ship the same thing as you.

Connie Haters:

So, I've recently found a profile on here. I won't say their name, but they clearly have a burning hatred for Connie. And hey, listen, people are free to have their own opinions, so I won't go yelling at them about how they're wrong to hate her.

But that doesn't mean that their words don't upset me.

Basically this person is hating on Connie because of the episode where she yelled at Steven for allowing himself to get taken away by Aquamarine, and because of the episode where Steven goes to Kevin's party to talk to Connie.

Listen here, honey.

I understand what Connie did was wrong. She shouldn't have said those things to Steven or even yelled at him for that matter, I will admit that. But are you seriously going to treat her as the scum of the Earth just because of those episodes? Did you forget about everything else she has done for Steven throughout the entire series, or were you too busy raging at her in those episodes?

And also they think that Connie is only using Steven for fusion and that's just stupid. She clearly loves him for who he is. And, also, I'm pretty sure Steven would be dead by now if it weren't for Connie carrying him to his pink half in front of White Diamond. So, yeah. Another thing that I wanna bring up is that they're saying that Connie has never won a fight by herself, which is also pretty stupid. Like, I may have to go back over the episodes again to make sure, but if this person is gonna say that Connie has never won anything by herself and that it was always Stevonnie, I suppose I should probably remind them that it was Connie who was training to sword fight; not Steven. So everytime Stevonnie used a sword, I'm pretty sure that was Connie.

Now, I don't wanna go on a full on rant, so I'm just gonna cut this short:

Connie is a human. She is going to make mistakes. Steven Universe is about growth and self love and loving others. Connie has grown in ways; accept that and stop focusing on just those episodes, please.

(And also this person apparently likes Steven so much that they rage at anyone who kills him in a fanfic. And this honestly makes me so mad because while this person is getting mad at others for killing Steven off in a FANfic, they are writing stories where they sexualize Steven. Like, seriously, it's disgusting to me.)

Okay, that's all. Please do not take any of the things that I said in this personal, because this was all just opinion.
