Juno's bedroom !!

THIS WAS SUCH A SAD AND UNBEARABLE FEELING. Not much of a new one, Juno had sort of always known she was into girls. But she had this issue where she met a girl, developed feelings, and either told them and they ended up weirded out and never talked again, or she saved herself from the heartbreak and stopped talking to them.

She didn't like that cycle. In fact, she despised it. Sometimes she just wished she could kick its ass and shove it down a chimney where it can't hurt anyone.

And unfortunately, it was happening again. And this time, it was with Eliana.

She really didn't want to have to end their friendship. They'd always known of each others existence but now that they actually talked, she was dreading the inevitable.

She really liked Eliana, a bit too much, but she was hoping this was a rare occasion where she just loses feelings and everything ends up being totally fine.

Her phone rang and she stopped pacing her room to see what Eliana said. Yes, she knew it was Eliana, because she set a different ring tone for when each contact called and texted.

She sighed and opened the message.

Srry I was with Anthony and omg I think I like him.

Juno laughed at her enthusiasm, but deep down she could feel an aching. I guess this is the solution. Match making them away.

She took some selfies for Instagram, a daily occurrence, which was weird because she didn't post herself too much on her account.

After changing into more comfortable sleeping wear she opened instagram to post the pictures.

Her phone started to go off multiple times, for each time someone liked her story. A few even responding to it with an emoji. It happened almost every time she posted.

She waited in anticipation for the notification she really wanted. A message from Eliana. By now she would've usually liked and responded to the story with some flirty emoji and ask her out jokingly. But it was taking longer than she thought.

She sat on her bed, smiling at the messages her and her friend exchanged when her sister burst through the door.

"June, have you seen my—"

"Get out!" She threw a pillow aggressively at her sister and shoved the door closed. She could hear her sister yelling through the door, and put on her headphones to mask it with her music.

Girl in Red blared through her headphones she plugged in her phone and covered herself in her blankets. 10:47 pm, her mind rests.

Splasharama !!

The waterpark was always the highlight of all the kids in the valley. And Carmen was glad Eliana happily volunteered herself to join Miguel and his friends to the park.

Yasmine, Moon, Sam, Juno, and Eliana all laid on the beach chairs displayed near the main pool. With their eyes all closed, they sunbathed in their swimwear.

Well, Eliana thought Sam was resting along with them but she was reading. And her opened eyes caught Anthony staring at the girls.

"Ew. Anthony, can you not stare at my friends?" They all opened their eyes to see the young boy stumbling over his sorry excuse for peeping.

"No, no, no, I wasn't, um, uh, staring." Juno narrowed her eyes at him, glancing between him and Eliana before he fleed the scene.

Moon giggled while Eliana calmed herself down and Juno disgustedly stared down Anthony. Yasmine smiled to Sam, "He's starting high school in the fall right?"

Sam, Eliana, and Juno nodded in unison. "Let's torture him. Tell him later I asked if he's been working out."

"Ew. You guys are so gross, and I want no part of this." Juno agreed in disgust, groaning at the thought of flirting with Anthony. In her mind a faceless boy inched close to her, and she immediately pushed him away.

"Yeah, Yas, you're way too old," Eliana briefly spun her head to the blonde then back towards Sam. "So, Sam. Any chance you have plans after this?"

Her jaw dropped and she closed her book. "You like Anthony?"

"What? No. I was just kidding."

Juno snorted, "She lied as easily as she breathed."

Eliana smacked her best friend's leg, "Shut up!" She looked around to make sure Anthony wasn't close enough to hear, though it worried her more when she didn't find him anywhere.

Moon laughed more and shun the spotlight again. "So, Sam, how's the whole 'Eat, Pray, Love' journey going?"

"It's actually been better than I expected." She shrugged, "It's been kinda nice to just focus on myself, without all the karate or relationship drama."

"Yeah, and I know Miggy's doing better too." Eliana kept her tone subtlety sarcastic. The only one who really knew about Miguel's regular crying sessions was Juno. Not because Eliana told her, she was just a great detective.

Eli and Miguel walked up to the girls, catching their attention when Eli called for Moon. She winced and slowly turned to Sam. "I totally forgot they were coming."

"It's fine. Really."

"Wait, did you guys really think I'd come and Miguel wouldn't?"

The older girls' voices overlapped in a confusing but obvious answer. Eliana's eyebrows arched in confusion and she shook her head in amusement.

"What's up?" Eli greets his girlfriend with a kiss and the younger girls with hugs, meanwhile the newly broken up couple awkwardly say hi.

"I'm good. Yeah. Uh, is anyone..." Miguel pointed to the beach chair next to Sam.

She gestures towards the same chair, "Yeah. I mean... I mean, uh, no, but- yeah, you can go ahead."

Eliana was cringing through the entire interaction, their breakup was affecting her more than she thought it would.

He sat beside her and Yasmine took off her sunglasses to ask a snarky question. "Am I alive? Or did I just die of embarrassment and this is my hell?"

Juno giggled and opted to hand one of her earbuds to Eliana, turning the volume on their shared Spotify playlist up. She smiled to each other and out their sunglasses on to resume their tanning.

An hour later !!

Eliana heard a commotion coming from the other side of the pool, "Oh, god damn it." His voice caught the attention of the younger girls. Eliana returned the earbud to Juno and stood up with Eli, the other girl right behind her.

They ran to the group of boys surrounding Anthony. They trapped him in pool floaties and kicked him into the pool.

"Kenny, what the fuck?"

"What the hell was that?"

Kyler turned to Eli with his everlasting smile. "None of your business."

"Yeah? Well I'm making it my business."

Kenny pushed Kyler back to insert himself into the conversation, "Kyler, Kyler, maybe he needs another haircut to remember who he's talking to."

Juno got in his face, "Any of you touch another hair on any of us, and you're gonna wish you never joined Cobra Kai." And he gently pushed her away.

"You wanna take on the champion?" Eli spoke quietly to the boy, more angered than he was 10 seconds ago.

Kenny laughed, "Dude, you're only the champ because Diaz got hurt. Robby won as many fights as you did."

"Yeah, but one of those was against you. And that wasn't much of a fight, now was it?" The girls behind him laughed while Kyler egged the younger boy on.

"You really gonna take that from him? From
Lip?"

"Like you can talk with that wack ass haircut!" Juno shouted at him.

Them Tory, out of nowhere, shoved Kenny away from the other side. "Hey, hey, hey! Back off."

"Hey, stay out of this."

"Oh, what's the matter? You scared I'm right? Champ." Kenny winked at Eli mockingly.

Tory shut him up, annoyed with the teen's bullshit. She turned to Eli and the girls, "Unless you want your asses kicked, I suggest you stay on your side of the park. Away from us."

Then a young boy from the pool called out for Eli, admiring the champion and calming his temper.

"Alright. You guys stay on your side, and we don't have a problem."

Juno snorted. "Oh, so we have sides now."

"We have better rides on our sides anyway." They all walked away from the group of bullies, with the exception of Eliana who ran to help Anthony.

She walked into the pool and tried her best to pull the big donuts off of his legs. He stood up and pushed his hair back with an angered expression on his face.

"Wish I could just... move away, or something." He sighed.

"Understandable." She glanced at Kenny, then looked to Juno who pointed to Kenny and gagged, which made her giggle. "He's really making it difficult to have fun in public places. They all are."

"Yeah. Mostly him."

They laughed and Eliana helped Anthony out of the water.

20 minutes later !!

The loud chaos of the water park was the perfect white noise for Eliana to nap, apparently. She had fallen fast sleep without music, despite the anxious feeling sleeping in public always gave her.

And most that saw her when she slept, if you asked, would tell you just how deep she can get into slumber. Big disturbances didn't really work to wake her up, it usually took quite a while.

Miguel had gotten used to this, though. So he knew exactly how to get her up.

After Anthony tried to wake her up with gentle nudges, Miguel tossed up his hand to the boy and then poked the side of his sister's gut. She jumped upwards and smacked his hand away while he laughed at her reaction.

"What do you want?" Her voice of smothered in annoyance and disdain.

"We gotta go," He laughed a bit, and then sighed before grabbing her hand, "We got kicked out."

She scoffed before taking his hand and pulling herself up, with his help. "What'd you do, piss in the pool?"

Miguel laughed at the remark and let go of Eliana as soon as she stood, causing her to lose her balance.

She yawned as she walked out of the park, holding onto Miguel's hand with one of hers and Anthony's with her other. Soon enough Sam called him and he had to let go, they waved goodbye.

The siblings caught up with their friends, specifically Eli, Moon, and Yasmine.

"Hey. Do you guys know where Sam went?"

"Oh, she split on her own. She didn't want anything to do with all this drama."

"Yeah, neither did I."

"Definitely a smart decision." Eliana piped up.

He saw Robby pass by and excused himself, releasing his sister's hand. She frowned dramatically before Eli patted her shoulder. "I'll take you home. C'mon."

He wrapped his arm around her and she put hers around him as they walked to a car. He drove her to the apartment complex and waited for her to enter the building before backing out of the property.

She walked straight to her bedroom, opening her messages.

Eliana scoffed.

Wtf? ☠️☠️

She quickly changed her outfit, throwing her water park clothing into her hamper. Her bed called to her, and she answered, lying down and pulling the covers over herself to stay warm.

Their conversation soon ended, and finally Eliana fell asleep at a decent time since the start of summer. And she didn't feel hopeless about everything in her life, not completely.

Dylan speaks !!

So usually I js start the next chapter after this so it's easier to write little pieces throughout the week and finish it during the weekend but I'm not gonna do that now cause ima be rereading and actually try reading some of my moots books I have in my reading list.

Also I have YouTube series and shows to catch up on soooo might take a longer than normally to update next week.

Like, not Friday or Saturday, lol. Probably Sunday or Monday if I can.
