Chapter 1
As Aries's plane landed, she felt a jolt in her stomach, and it wasn't just from the plane. She was about to arrive at one of the U.S's most prestigious and elite schools, Anderson Academy. They only accepted the best of the best, and Aries had no clue why the academy picked her. Either way, there was no denying that she was about to spend the next two years of her life at this school. At least Aries had come prepared. She had already become friends with her roommates, Taurus, Cancer, and Leo. Aries had talked to the other two roommates, Virgo and Pisces. Still, she hadn't become as close with them. Maybe they'll become better friends after a while! These thoughts helped unclench her stomach as she grabbed her luggage from the carrier. Today's the day her life truly starts. Wearing a cute black jacket and gorgeous wedges, she looked more confident than she was. As her brain threatens to drift into a daze, someone bangs into her back.
"Oh shit! I'm sorry!" A girl with curled hair and way too high heels shouted. As the girl balanced herself with the help of my shoulder, her apparent wealth made me even more self-conscious. But, as she steadied herself and glanced into my eyes, with a slight hint of disgust, my mind sparked with recognition.
"Wait, Leo?"
"Aries!" Leo said, quickly masking any hint of disappointment.
"Agh! I'm finally meeting you!"
"I know! I've been so excited!" But, as Aries searched her face, she felt as if this wasn't so true. There was something in Leo's eyes and even a smile. The smile was just too fake. Like she had done this a thousand times. And there was something off with the eyes. A hint of...boredness?
"Come on, we better get out of everyone's way," Aries yells over the noise as another plane starts to land.
As we head out of the airport, luggage in hand, we are surrounded by the roaring sound of traffic.
"Cmon, we oughta call a cab," Leo calls.
As the cab pulled up to the curb, Aries suddenly felt a jolt of nervousness. What if Leo suddenly stopped liking her? What if Taurus, Cancer, and Aquarius didn't like her either? And then what about Virgo and Pisces! What if they don't like her either? As she tried to shake these thoughts from her mind, she saw the infamous academy up ahead.
"Ooohhhh, there it is!" Leo yelled.
"Yep, there it is," I answered with a gulp.
"Hey, you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm alright, Leo, just a bit nervous."
"I am too. But, I've realized, what's the point in being nervous? Like, there's nothing good that will come out of it." But she didn't seem nervous. There was something off with her.
"I know you're right, but it's hard."
"Hey, you trust me, right?" Leo said, with a hint of impatience in her voice.
"Of course," I said, though an edging feeling in my stomach told me I shouldn't.

As Virgo was practically shoved out of the cab, She suddenly felt like she was getting cold feet. What was she thinking? Applying to this insane school in the first place? She must be out of her mind. She should be going to an insane asylum. But, better question, why the hell did they accept her? I mean, I know they accept people for their hobbies and what they've done with it, but she wasn't that great of a writer, was she? I mean, others thought so, but she always had a nagging feeling of fraud. So many other better writers could have landed this shot, but why was it her? All she knows is that one good writer was accepted into this academy right alongside her, Pisces. When she started to talk to the rest of her roommates, Pisces just stood out. She reminds me of me. But, like, an improved version of me. She's a great writer, and she's a bit of a loner too, like me. But she also has the essence of a bad bitch. If she were the only friend I would make at this school for the next two years, she'd be perfectly happy. But what if she didn't like her? As Virgo tried to shake these thoughts out of her mind, she ran into an upperclassman.
"Oh, sorry!" I yelped as I bent down to help him gather his books.
"It's alright," he said with a grin in his voice.
"So, um, what's your name," I ask, fidgeting while staring into his chocolate brown eyes.
"I'm Scorpio, and you are?"
"I'm, ugh, Virgo."
"Well, welcome to Anderson Academy, Virgo. I'm sure we'll meet again soon." He said while gliding away.
As I stood there, momentarily stunned, I started to blush. Maybe this wouldn't be as bad as I thought...
