Jungkook's POV

Sitting on seat bear the window I was staring outside while smiling like an idiot. When suddenly I flinched because of my teacher.

Teacher: JEON JUNGKOOK!!!!!!
I flinched and looked at her with my innocent eyes.
Teacher: Please tell us the reason behind your uneccessary smile. We want to know.
I looked at the other students as they were looking at me with a tiny smirk plastered on their lips.
Jk: Uhh..Uhh nothing teacher.
Teacher: You better pay attention on the subject I'm teaching.
I nodded as she continued teaching after glaring at me.

*Time skip*(After school)

I was sitting outside a icecream shop as Jieun noona was getting icecreams for us.

Jieun: Here!
I got startled as she held the icecream cone infront of my face. I looked at her as she was smiling sweetly. I took the icecream and gave her a quick smile.

I stood up and started walking while eating the icecream.
Jieun: Heyy wait!! Are you sad about something?
She said while catching up with me.
I shook my head in response.
Jieun: Ahhhh okayy. Umm can I ask you something?
I looked at her waiting for her to continue when she spoke.
Jieun: You......like Y/n right?

I looked at her with wide eyes as I looked away.
Jk: No...I-I mean she....I-
Jieun: It's okay I get you. It was quite obvious.
Jk: H-How?
I asked as I looked at her nervously.
Jieun: The way you look at her when we three are together, the way you wait for her every day outside the school and she told me about the day you went to her house.
I looked at my feet being a little embarassed.

Jieun: Are you blushing?
She said as she chuckled seeing ny more red face.
Jieun: You're lucky that she is atleast acknowledging your feelings.
I looked at her being a little confused.
Jieun: So she didn't tell you? Okay let me spill the tea. Hehe. You aren't the first guy to like her, there were many but.....
Jk: But what?
Jieun: You are the first one she likes.

I looked at her in shock as she nodded with a smirk.
Jieun: She told me not to tell you but you're my brother lol. And...you have a great chance to win her heart completely. It's her birthday in a week. Make it count!
Saying she started walking forward leaving me dumbfounded.
Yes...This is my chance.
I smiled to myself as I shouted.
Jk: THANK YOU NOONA!!!!
Jieun: THANK ME WHEN YOU GET HER!!!
I chuckled as she went away from my sight.

*One week later*
Y/n's POV

I was sleeping peacefully when suddenly.....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Y/n: AHHHHHHHHHHhhhhh
I sat up straight while screaming as I saw Oppa and Unnie infront of me with huge smiles on their faces.
Y/n: What was that?
Jisoo: Your Birthday!!!!
She exclaimed happily.
I sighed as I smiled at both of them and mouthed a "Thank you".
Jin: Yeah now get out of the bed and change. You look like a spring onion.
I glared at him as he chuckled and went out followed by Jisoo.

After a while I came out of my room wearing a clean outfit.

I looked around the living room. It was all decorated with balloons of my favourite colour. I smiled as I was so overwhelmed.

Jin: Come sit here!
He came from behind and held my shoulders making me sit on the couch.
Jin: Jagiyaaaaa??!!!
Jisoo: Yeah I'm here.
I saw her coming from the kitchen with a cake in her hands walking carefully towards us.
Jisoo: Here! Cut it.
She said as she kept the cake on the tea table and stood staring smiling.

I looked at both of them as I couldn't stop myself from crying. My eyes became slight teary as they always make my birthday so special.
Jin: Aishh come here.
He sat beside me as he hugged me and patted my back just like a elder brother would do seeing his sister cry. I sniffed as I parted away from the hug and cut the cake with a smile.

*After a while*

I decided to go on my usual place for my birthday. Me and Jieun always hangout together in the Winter fair which only happens during my birthday. I excitedly stood up from the couch leaving my phone and brushed my outfit with my hands.
Y/n: Mmmm not bad.
I said as my outfit looked okay for wearing outside.
Y/n: Unnie!! Oppa!! I'm going out with Jieun. I'll comeback by evening.
I went out after getting a "hmm" from them.

I was waiting on our usual place for more than 20 minutes.
Y/n: UGHHHHH where is she?!!
I groaned impatiently as I took out my phone to call her when I got a call from her. I recieved the call as she shouted on the top of her voice.
*On call*
Jieun: HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRLLLL!!!!
Y/n: Aishhhh...My ears. Thanks tho. Where are you???
Jieun: Oh..Yeah about that. Don't get mad at me...but I can't come this time.
Y/n: What do you mean you can't come?
Jieun: Sorry y/nieee but I've got a important work to do. I'm really sorry.
Y/n: B-But you know we spend-
Jieun: I knowwwww that's why I'm really sorr-
Before she could complete I hung up. I felt hurt.

Every year on my birthday it's just us spending time together but today it was not.
I looked down as I slid the phone inside my pocket and started heading towards my home when I saw a kid running towards me.

Kid: Here!
He said as he extended his hands to give me a small folded paper. I hesitated but took the paper. I opened it and saw...
Meet me at the river side.

I looked back at the kid but there was no one.
I was confused but ended up following the unknown person since I had nothing else to do.
