"Bruhhh the babe was easy to seduce like what the fuck? Who the hell was she forming holy holy for?" Akin, one of my teammates said.

"Na how girls dey do normal. They'll form for you but are easy to seduce. I hope she's available because I wanna go taste the honey pot" Another guy said.

I wanted to say something but my attention was caught by Coach Rogers and the light skinned girl I always saw on the court.

Empress.

The coach was smiling at her, probably commending her for a job well done. She smiled back in gratitude. He said something that made her smile to falter a bit but then she smiled again.

"Dayo! Do you want to fuck the girl too?" Akin asked, snapping me out of my thoughts. All eyes were on me, of course SLC knew me as the major and most successful playboy so this wasn't new to me.

But then, I didn't feel the urge to go bang a girl right now. I wanted to disturb someone's life first.

"Nah I'll pass" I replied. They all stared at me with shock.

"Ah ahn, what's up? Your stuff is now impotent?" Excel said and smirked. I scoffed at him and stood up.

"It's even more potent than that dead sausage you have there" I shot back earning guffaws and loud laughter from them all. I used that opportunity to walk away and go meet Empress.

She was drinking water like a thirsty deer, obviously the training must have dehydrated her. Creeping slowly behind her, I smiled before speaking.

"Small training and you are tired" I said. She turned back with a frown on her face.

"A training you can't and won't be able to do" she shot back. I tried not to grin at her feisty attitude. It was one of the reasons I loved fighting with her.

" I just had four rounds darlin'" I smirked making sure the sarcasm was noticeable in my voice. She must have caught it because she frowned harder.

"Who cares? Oh wait, I don't. You and your four rounds can go fuck yourselves" she said with a calm expression on her face.i stared at her in amazement, wondering how she had a comeback for every single thing I said.

I watched her as she gulped the water thirstily. My eyes continued to roam all over her body. I wasn't a fan of Empress but damn! I had to admit, she had one hell of a body.

Too bad we weren't compactable.

My eyes went back to her face. Her eyes were distant and she looked troubled.

What's she thinking?

Her eyes closed and opened intermittently and her lips were moving. I was beginning to get worried. I moved closer to her to hold her.

Then her eyes flashed.

"STOP!" She screamed. The whole court became silent. As if she recovered from what she just did, she looked at everyone sheepishly, then in a split second, a second so fast that of I hadn't been watching her, I wouldn't have seen her change her face expression so fast.

What is going on with this girl??

"Sorry, y'all can continue with what you were doing" she said. Then she turned to meet my eyes. Her eyes widened for a second, then her face went back to that I-detest-Dayo look.

"Don't you have guys to train or something?" She asked dryly.

"What happened to you?" I asked.

"Nothing, it's none of your business now get out" she replied sharply.

Her defence attitude only got me more curious.

No. Until you tell me what happened to you" I pestered. She groaned with impatience. To my surprise, I liked the sound of it.

"Well I'm not telling you. So go hug transformer or something. Biko go away nau. Coach Rogers will be back soon" She replied. I didn't say anything, rather I contented myself with staring at her. I noticed she added some flesh.

"Did you gain weight?" I asked, staring at her arm. The way her eyes grew wide and the speed she used to check out her arm was alarming.

"No! Did I gain weight? Does it look obvious? I didn't gain weight did I?" She said in a rush. There was alarm in her eyes and it got me super super curious.

What is with this girl?

"Chill, what's so bad in gaining weight?"

The terror in her eyes gave me a idea.

She came back to earth, caught me staring and frowned.

"Nothing! Ugh Dayo you are being a pest! I'm leaving you!" She half yelled and ran off to God knows where. I simply walked away to go join the guys.

"Broo, since when you and Empress dey talk?" Akin asked, looking at me with suspicion.

"We weren't talking. More like arguing, she's very....saucy" I replied and shrugged.

"Too bad sha. It doesn't take away the fact her body is just... outtathisworld!" Excel shouted making them snicker.

"She, Rihanna and Justice. Are they like the banging body girls? Cause all of them get mad shape!" Another guy said.

Let Zayne hear you.

"Kola it's like you want Zayne to kill you abi? You don't know they are dating?" Akin warned. Kola smiled sheepishly and backed down.

I tuned my ears from their discussion and started replaying what happened earlier. Something was wrong with Empress but I didn't know what.

I raised my head up and saw her coming. I stood up immediately and ran to her.

"Empress!"

She saw me and frowned. I bit my lip, thinking of how she always frowned more around me.

"What? What's with the staring?" She snapped.

I was staring?

"You alright though? I don't want you falling sick.." I trailed off. What was I saying? I sounded like I cared. I looked at her face and noticed she wasn't frowning anymore but she was surprised. Her lips were parted in shock.

"...When it's so close to the National Competition. Silver Crest ain't going easy on us you know" I finished. I watched as the surprise left her face replaced by the sassy look.

"I'm fine. I don't know why you are worrying yourself anyway. I barely fall sick and the competition is like next term so cool your horses." She replied and rolled her eyes. I raised an eyebrow at her actions. I didn't even do anything to her so why was she always sassy and saucy towards me?

"Okay can I ask a question?" I said without thinking.

"Be quick"

"Do you have something personal against me or..?" I asked. I just wanted to know what her deal was with me.

"Something personal?" She asked looking surprised. I was annoyed at the way she faked her looking surprised. Was she trying to mock me or?

"Yeah. But you know what? Forget I asked. See you at the court" I said and left immediately. I didn't know why I was angry. I and Empress were never on good terms so why would she be nice now?
