As Kiara stood tall, her expression unwavering, her mind began to wander back to the conversation she had with Abhir the previous night. She had asked him to prove his love for her, and the memory of his intense gaze and piercing words still lingered in her mind. She felt a shiver run down her spine as she recalled the way he had looked at her, the way he had spoken to her.

She felt a shiver run down her spine as she recalled the way he had looked at her, the way he had spoken to her.
Abhir's words echoed in her mind, "I'll prove my love to you, Kiara. I'll show you that I'm willing to do anything for you." The memory of his voice sent a flutter through her chest, and she felt her heart racing with anticipation. What did he mean by those words? What was he planning to do to prove his love for her?
Abhir's words echoed in her mind, "I'll prove my love to you, Kiara. I'll show you that I'm willing to do anything for you." The memory of his voice sent a flutter through her chest, and she felt her heart racing with anticipation. What did he mean by those words? What was he planning to do to prove his love for her?
Kiara's thoughts were a jumble of emotions, a mix of fear, anticipation, and uncertainty. She was torn between her desire to know what Abhir had planned and her fear of getting hurt again. The conversation with Abhir had left her feeling vulnerable, exposed, and she wasn't sure if she was ready to face whatever lay ahead.
As Dhvani spoke, her eyes took on a far-off, dreamy quality, and her voice became laced with a sigh of longing. "He is so handsome, so hot," she said, her words dripping with admiration. "I don't know who that lucky girl will be, the one whom ASB will love."
Kiara's gaze drifted back to the present, and she couldn't help but feel a pang of discomfort at Dhvani's words. She had been so lost in her own thoughts, reliving the conversation with Abhir, that she had almost forgotten that Dhvani was still talking. Now, as she listened to her friend's words, she felt a surge of emotions: jealousy, anxiety, and a hint of uncertainty.
As Dhvani's words hung in the air, Kiara's heart skipped a beat, and her mind went into overdrive. "Ohh, that lucky girl is Kiara herself," her heart screamed, the thought echoing through her mind like a mantra.
As the thought of being the lucky girl whom Abhir might have feelings for echoed through her mind, Kiara's heart skipped a beat with excitement. But, like a dark cloud casting a shadow over her hopes, the memory of the heartbreak Abhir had caused her in the past came flooding back.
The pain and the hurt he had inflicted on her, the way he had broken her trust and shattered her heart, all came rushing back to the forefront of her mind. Kiara's eyes dropped, and her face fell, as the reality of her situation hit her like a ton of bricks.
"How could I have forgotten?" she thought to herself, her mind reeling with the memories of the past. "How could I have let myself get caught up in the idea of Abhir having feelings for me, when he's already proven himself to be capable of hurting me so deeply?"
The thought of Abhir's past betrayal stung, and Kiara felt a wave of anger and hurt wash over her. She had thought she was over him, that she had moved on from the pain he had caused her. But now, as she stood there, she realized that the wounds of the past still lingered, still raw and tender.
Kiara's heart screamed in protest, "No, no, no! I won't let myself fall for him again! I won't let him hurt me again!"
Was it possible that Abhir had changed? Was it possible that he was truly sorry for the pain he had caused her, and that he wanted to make amends? The questions swirled in her mind, leaving Kiara feeling torn and conflicted.
Kiara's voice was laced with a hint of exhaustion and desperation as she asked Dhvani to leave her alone. "Dhvani, can you please leave me alone for a while? I just need some time to rest and clear my head."
The words tumbled out of her mouth in a gentle but firm tone, a clear indication that she needed some space and solitude. Dhvani, sensing Kiara's emotional state, nodded understandingly and began to make her way out of the room.
"Okay, Kiara, I'll leave you alone. You take all the time you need, and don't worry about anything. I'll be just outside if you need me," Dhvani said, her voice soft and reassuring.
As Dhvani closed the door behind her, Kiara let out a deep sigh and collapsed onto the bed, feeling the weight of her emotions bearing down on her. She closed her eyes, allowing the silence and solitude to wash over her, and let her mind wander to the thoughts and feelings that had been swirling inside her.
................
Abhir's eyes scanned the cafe, his gaze searching for a familiar face that was noticeably absent. "Mrs. Rose, where is Kiara?" he asked, his voice low and casual, but with a hint of concern.
Mrs. Rose, the manager of the cafe, looked up from the counter, a warm smile on her face. "Oh, ASB, today is Kiara's day off. She had a night shift yesterday, so she's probably sleeping in and resting."
Abhir's expression changed, his eyes narrowing slightly as he processed the information. He had been looking forward to seeing Kiara, to talking to her and maybe even clearing the air between them. But now, it seemed that she was not even at the cafe.
He felt a pang of disappointment, but tried to brush it off. After all, he had no right to expect Kiara to be available to him at all times. She had her own life, her own schedule, and he needed to respect that.
...............
Kiara's eyes widened in surprise as she opened the door to find a delivery boy standing in the hallway, holding a beautiful bouquet of flowers. She smiled, feeling a sense of excitement and curiosity, as she took the flowers from the boy and signed the delivery paper.
As the delivery boy turned to leave, Kiara closed the door and brought the flowers inside, inhaling their sweet fragrance and admiring their beauty. She couldn't help but wonder who could have sent her such a lovely gift.
As she searched for a card or a note, her fingers brushed against a small envelope tucked among the flowers. She pulled it out and opened it, finding a simple but heartfelt message scrawled on a piece of paper: "Sweet flowers for the sweet girl".
Kiara's heart skipped a beat as she read the words, feeling a rush of emotions and a sense of delight. Who could have written such a sweet and thoughtful message? She thought of Abhir, and her mind began to whirl with possibilities. Could it be him? Was he trying to make amends, to show her that he cared? Her phone rang.
Kiara's heart skipped a beat as she heard the familiar voice on the other end of the line. "He baby doll," Abhir said, his voice low and smooth, sending a shiver down her spine. She knew it was him, and she couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions: excitement, nervousness, and a hint of wariness.
As soon as she picked up the call, Kiara's mind went into overdrive, wondering what Abhir wanted and why he was calling her. But before she could even process her thoughts, Abhir asked, "Have you received the flowers?"
Kiara's eyes drifted to the bouquet on the windowsill, and she felt a smile spreading across her face. "Yes, I have," she replied, trying to sound casual despite the butterflies in her stomach.
There was a pause on the other end of the line, and for a moment, Kiara wondered if Abhir was going to say something more. But then, he spoke up, his voice filled with a hint of amusement. "I'm glad you liked them. I thought they suited you perfectly."
Kiara's heart fluttered at the compliment, and she felt herself getting drawn into the conversation. She couldn't help but wonder what Abhir's intentions were, and why he was being so charming and affectionate.
Was he trying to make amends, or was this just a ploy to get her attention? As she stood there, listening to Abhir's voice and feeling the warmth of his words, Kiara couldn't help but feel a sense of trepidation.
She had been hurt by him before, and she didn't want to get burned again. But at the same time, she couldn't deny the spark that still existed between them, the spark that seemed to ignite whenever they were together.
"What do you want, Abhir?" Kiara asked, trying to sound firm and detached, but her voice betrayed her, coming out softer and more vulnerable than she had intended.
