"HE'S my first love" Jennie told Jimin, both of them walking side by side through the busy Seoul street. "I still like, no, love him"

"Then, what's your problem?" Jimin asked her, not realizing what was stopping her. Jennie stopped walking, a deep sigh escaping her lips. "He doesn't like me"

"Did he say so?" Jimin asked, gesturing her to an empty bench to sit. "Not exactly.." Jennie confessed, leaning on the bench. "When I confessed my feelings, he told me I was still a kid"

"But that was years ago" Jimin noted. "Tell him now"

Jennie let out a non committal noise, shaking her head in disagreement. "No use"

"Why?"

"He was ditched by a girl once" Jennie wondered. "I think he still has feelings for her"

"Lost love" Jimin mumbled, opening a packet of M&M's. "Have you ever taken any drugs?"

"Drugs?" Jennie shouted, earning quite a few looks from people around them. Jimin shushed her, before continuing. "I haven't either. Listen now"

Jimin's amused voice had Jennie in utter anticipation, her eyes dripping curiosity. "Lost love is described in 3 stages. 1st stage is like drugs. Every intake warns you that it's not good, to stop since its bad for health. Lost love is also like that. One wants to forget but it won't allow you to"

Munching the chocolates, Jimin continued. "2nd stage is like a rented house. We literally stalk her and her current boyfriend's details. Just like a house owner keep tabs on his house" Jennie waited for Jimin to continue. "3rd and last stage is like the mustache"

"Mustache?" Jennie giggled, not knowing where Jimin was going with this. "Yeah. You can either grow it or shave it off. Your guy doesn't have one now right? Probably, he might've forgotten his old love"

Jennie pondered on the thought of confessing again. "Pick up your courage. Just go and tell him" Jimin flashed her an encouraging smile, to which she smiled back.

That day, Jennie realized that all men were not the same. There were some who treated girls like best friends too.

Like she had Park Jimin.

Jennie had forgotten to ask Taehyung why he came that day. So, she went in search for Dr. Kim Namjoon. But from then on, she was a regular visiter to B-wing.

And that was how Jennie met him. A new patient in room number 106.

Min Yoongi. A good man. A great novelist. Jennie's new friend.

"Suga oppa" Jennie greeted, startling the poor man, who was laying peacefully on the hospital bed. "You scared me, Mandu!" Both of them were great friends, already on nickname basis.

"You seemed deep in thought" Jennie remarked, plopping herself next to Yoongi. "I was thinking about writing a story about diseases"

"Disease and story?" Jennie chuckled. Yoongi nodded before speaking. "Diseases are like siblings. If one sulks, the others come to enquire. I just got over gas trouble and his brother already comes enquiring"

"Who?" Jennie asked. "Kidney stone" Both of them burst into laughter.

Yoongi was just like her father. And they became friends quickly! It became a habit of hers to visit him often. Once when she was returning back home after visiting Yoongi, she saw an unexpected sight in room number 107.

Kim Taehyung was standing in front of her, talking to someone on the phone. Not only that, Kim Aera, his mother, was laying on the hospital bed.

Taehyung's face lit in recognition as he saw me. "You were here and no one told me" I said, walking towards the bed. "In-na told me you were here but Taehyung insisted not to trouble anyone" His mother said.

"Bilirubin is 10.." Jennie trailed off, going through the chart. "Why did you come so late?" She remarked, sitting on the edge of the bed. "The jaundice is severe..."

"I didn't realize it dear. Taehyung was not with me, right? " Aera told Jennie. "He has a friend here, Dr. Kim Namjoon. So we came here"

"Don't worry, I'll check up on you everyday.." Jennie assured. "...unlike some people here who just leave you alone" She muttered, glancing at Taehyung. "I think you'll be able to go home in a week"

Saying goodbye, Jennie walked out, a wide grin on her face. When she saw his mother there, frankly, Jennie was very happy. Usually, the weakness of men were their mothers right?

Kim Aera was Jennie's way to Taehyung's heart.

Jennie came everyday for visiting and checking up on Aera, but mostly for Taehyung. She helped with almost everything, for giving Aera her pills and giving them homemade healthy food. Even other medical students were aware of her daily visit that they naturally made her way through the buzzing crowd, yeeting themselves away from her path.

"Just 4 days more" Jennie told them, as she pulled out the syringe from Aera's hand. "You can take rest at home after that"

"All right, dear" Aera cooed, slightly patting Jennie's head. For the past few days, Jennie had been very helpful to them. "Have you eaten lunch?" She asked Jennie.

"No" Jennie replied, discarding the used syringe. "We don't get time in between rounds"

"Taehyung was about to go out" Aera said, before turning to him. "Take her with you"

Jennie's eyes met Taehyung's, both of them immediately looking away. Jennie looked down, a small smile playing on her lips. Before she could realize that it could be a date, a cheerful voice had taken all of their attention.

"Ommo-nim?" Jennie turned her to face the owner of the voice and she was stunned to see the beauty that stood in front of her. The stranger was gorgeous, from her doll-like eyes to her pouty lips.

"Tzuyu?" Aera asked, her voice laced with surprise and happiness. "How come you're here?"

"I'm a guest lecturer here in SNU for past 1 year" Tzuyu said. "This idiot didn't tell me that you were here" Jennie frowned, seeing this Tzuyu pushing Taehyung playfully, who in turn had the wide smile Jennie had even seen on him.

"Come, let's go get the food" Tzuyu said, before dragging Taehyung away. Jennie watched them walk away, his hand in Tzuyu's hold. "Are you leaving?" Aera asked, as Jennie turned on her heels to leave. "Yes, I've to complete my rounds"

With that, Jennie stormed outside, her whole body and soul burning in jealousy.

Damn you, Tzuyu!

"I found out about her, Chou Tzuyu" Chaeyoung spoke, savouring a spoon of ice cream. The trio friends were currently in an ice cream parlor. "She was my sister, Alice's classmate"

"Tzuyu... Nice name right?" Lalisa asked, smiling at Jennie, who was brushing her hair properly as a baby behind her was pulling her hair. "Chou Tzuyu and Kim Taehyung. There's a nice ring to it, right?" This earned her a death glare from Jennie, immediately shutting her up.

"She's a lecturer back in SNU and a young budding writer" Chaeyoung stated, in her matter of fact voice. "Writer.." Jennie scowled, leaning back on the chair. The duo exchanged a laugh, seeing their best friend drowning in jealousy. "Look, it's him" Lalisa's voice had Jennie turning to where she was pointing, only to see Kim Taehyung and Chou Tzuyu, what, on a date?

Chaeyoung audibly whistled before speaking to Jennie. "I can't blame you. Anyone can wait 6 years for him. He's hot" Chaeyoung was seeing Taehyung for the first time.

"Hot, my foot!" Jennie grumbled, before glancing at the pair. "Look at his stupid smile" Lalisa and Chaeyoung chuckled quietly seeing Jennie's act. "Look, he had even unbuttoned half of his shirt in front of her. Shameless asshole!" Jennie pulled her hair back from the baby's hand, who had few strands of her hair in his tiny hands.

"His mother's an old writer and lover, a young budding writer" Lalisa stated, to which Jennie audibly groaned. "Why are you jealous? They make quite a pair!" Chaeyoung nodded her head in agreement with Lalisa's comment.

As the baby behind her pulled her hair again, Jennie had enough and she exploded. "Here!" She hissed, giving the hair clip to the baby forcefully. The baby's mother cursed at her, for making the baby cry and the duo had to apologize to her. Infact, Jennie remained still, devoid of any emotion.

Everything she done had gone downhill!
