Light leaping was weird. It was as if you were being pulled by a bunch of different forces but for some reason it didn't hurt.

Sophie tried to focus on wrapping her concentration around herself as best she could even though she didn't know what that meant.

Once the pulling and stretching went away a huge palace practically made of gold glittered into view.

"Woah," she said in amazement after looking at the place for a while.

"Ok I know I'm handsome and everything but you can let go of my hand now," Keefe said. She quickly let go of his hand and could feel her face burning crimson red. He smirked at her reassuringly.

"Ok so we can't be seen here or we'll get in big trouble," he said, "let's hide over there in that bush."

"Ok," Sophie said. They quickly ran over to the bush hoping no one spotted them. Once they got there Keefe started to explain everything.

"So this is the lost cities, it consists of goblins which are the big guys at the door. They're really dangerous so don't get on their bad side," he said with a wink, "Than there are ogres, ogres and goblins don't get along for some reason but they're both pretty dangerous."

"What about humans?"

"Well a long time ago when the ancients were forming alliances with all the intelligent creatures, humans were forming a rebellion and trying to start a war. In order for there to be no war we had to hide from them."

"Wow." Was all she managed to say. Sophie checked her watch and realized that her parents were probably worried sick about her.

"I need to go back," she said. He grabbed her hand and shone the pathfinder (magic wand) up to the light and as soon as they came they had left.

"I need to talk to my dad and tell him about you but tomorrow you should be going to the lost cities again." He said when they arrived

"How are you gonna find me?"

"I'll find a way," He said smirking, "See you tomorrow."

Before she could respond he left. Sophie couldn't help but be excited to see Keefe again.

Sorry this chapter isn't that good. I had a bit of writers block. 😔 Anyways I have a few questions to ask.

1.) Would you rather have smaller chapters (about 200-400 words) and being posted once a week or longer chapters (1,000 words) and being posted once every two weeks? Please comment which you prefer?

2.) Once I finish this book would you guys read a sequel I'd make?
