Mami crawled up to Nani begging her to help her win Manohar back but she ignored her, walked up to Manohar and hugged him as he cried on his mother's shoulder.

Akash, Arnav and Khushi teared up seeing a grown man like him crying like a child.

It was no secret he loved Mami and this was hurting him deeply because he went against is mother to marry her.

A part of Arnav and Khushi felt guilty as this had affected them more than they thought it would.

Their plan was to reveal the nature of how Shyam and Anjali started and use it to isolate them from any support apart from themselves but not at the expense of hurting Manohar like this.

"Thank you Miss Mehra, I hope you are now happy. " Akash cried out hurt by Mami's actions and Mami looked stunned hearing Akash address her by her maiden name. "Just like Papa, you are dead to me........ From now on, you have no rights over me....... You don't exist anymore and I will gladly go to jail for murder if you dare interfere in my life. "

Mami wailed shaking her head whilst staring at Akash who was trying hard not to breakdown because he knew he had to be strong for his father.

He turned his attention to Anjali and Shyam and it's was a look of anger and disgust.

"How could you have an affair with a married man after everything that happened to this family in the past?....... How could you? " Akash yelled making Anjali flinch.

"Akash dear don't waste your time on her....... She is not worth it........ To think I thought she would learn from the past, but look at her......... No different from her father........A shameless adulteress. " Nani exclaimed in disgust and disappointment.

"At least am not a murderer like you. " Anjali yelled angrily as Shyam closed his eyes at the stupidity of his wife.

The whole family turned to her in shock as she moved from behind Shyam and walked up to Nani fuming.

"At least I didn't murder my daughter like you did. "

Arnav matched up to Anjali and yanked her away from Nani who looked defeated hearing Anjali use her worst fear against her.

Manohar held onto her before she could fall back and led her to the bed making her sit.

Arnav was about to yell at her when Nani's words beat him to it.

"I never thought in a million years you will call me a murderer....... It's no secret Ratna didn't commit suicide because of cheating but because she didn't have anywhere to go as I have disowned her and threatened to do the same to Manohar if he ever helped her when the time comes."

"Nani don't say that....... You know it's not true......... Maa killed herself because she was weak...... You didn't kill her. " Arnav tried to dissuade her but it wasn't working as Nani shook her head crying.

"Maybe if I hadn't disowned her then she would have run into my arms for comfort and safety........ She wouldn't have taken her life. " Nani cried uncontrollably and Khushi rushed up to her and hugged her but after a few seconds, Nani stopped crying and went limp in Khushi's arms.

Akash, Arnav and Manohar screamed out her name and Khushi broke the hug to find Nani with her eyes closed and realised she has lost consciousness.

Arnav carried Nani out to his car as he screamed for Akash to call the hospital and inform them of their arrival.

Anjali limped down stairs with remorse oozing out of her as she saw them rush Nani out.

It then dawned on her the damage she had caused with her words and she turned to Shyam who shook his head at her and followed them leaving her and Mami alone in the mansion.

City Hospital.

Khushi took charge taking care of the Raizada men as they were all not in the right state of mind at the moment.

It's been an hour since they discovered Nani fainted because her blood pressure shot up and luckily for them, Nani was brought on time to the hospital or else she would have suffered a stroke which could have crippled her.

The doctors were still running more test even though Nani is out of danger but they didn't want to risk any underlined side effects of her situation.

Manohar sat by his mother bed holding her hand as Arnav and Akash stood behind him.

"Your mother will need a lot of rest and stress free environment........ Please avoid anything or anyone who might trigger her........ She will be discharged in ten hours....... Please one of you come with me to the office for her prescribed medications. " The doctor said and Akash tried to go but Arnav stopped him telling him to stay with Manohar as he and Khushi will take care of it.

Fifteen minutes later, Khushi and Arnav left the doctors office.

"It's not you fault. " Khushi exclaimed as she stopped Arnav because she knew he was blaming himself.

"I didn't want it to go this way but a part of me is happy Anjali and those two have no one by their side....... Nani will soon be okay and we will take a little vacation to get away from the city in a few days...... We will relax because they will be under twenty four hours surveillance."

Arnav smiled, cupped Khushi's cheeks and kissed her forehead.

He pulled away but the smile on his lips dropped and his face was now marred in anger.

She turned and saw Shyam coming up the elevator with Anjali and Mami following them.

All Khushi saw was her murderers but Arnav saw the murderers of her wife and unborn child.

This life, he was going to make them pay and protect his loved ones.

In this life,if they are going to have a better life then he needs to get rid off them not immediately but make them suffer but at his moment,Arnav knew he needed to get them away from Nani.

Arnav pulled out his phone texted someone as he walked up to them with Khushi behind which made the trio stop in their tracks.

"Chote how is Nani?"

Arnav cringed and recoiled when Anjali tried to touch him.

"Take you filthy accomplices and leave from here before I have you dragged out by your hair?" Arnav yelled but luckily they didn't attract much attention because they were on the private level of the hospital.

"Arnav listen, Anjali is sorry...... She was just stressed...... Please let her see Nani...... As much as Anjali is to be blamed,you are also to be blamed..... If you hadn't said what you said then Nani wouldn't have been in this condition. "

Khushi raged with anger seeing Shyam trying to emotionally blackmail Arnav and was about to react but Arnav beat her to it when he slapped Shyam.

Everyone was stunned seeing this and Shyam touched his abused cheek as he looked up at Arnav.

He shuddered seeing the murderous look in his eyes and instantly regretted opening his mouth.

"Gone was the day this emotional blackmail would have worked on me to get your way........ Get your whore and that gold digger out of here....... Don't bother, they will get you out of here. "

Shyam turned to find security behind them, he signalled them and they dragged Shyam and the duo out.

Arnav sighed and felt Khushi held his hand which he squeezed.

"Let's go. "

A few hours later, Khushi entered Nani's room and called the three men out.

They were confused but obliged and walked out to find Aman and Preeto laying food on a small table a few steps from Nani's room.

"Don't refuse please......... You all haven't eaten for hours now and Arnav you need to take your medication........ I asked Preeto to make something small for the three of you. "

Manohar smiled at Khushi and leaned in kissing her forehead.

Akash mouth a thank you to her as Arnav hugged her.

They went to the table to eat and Arnav forced Khushi to join them as Aman and Preeto watched over Nani.

Two Days Later.

Arnav had moved his work home and Khushi left Preeto in charge with her getting help from the trusted managers.

Manohar did a good job isolating Anjali and Mami away from Nani.

Shyam was out executing their plan which he and Anjali knew that was the only thing that could save them from moving out and gain Nani's favor back.

Nani on the other hand was coming back to her normal self and has started her teasing of Arnav and Khushi but one thing she did was avoid any contact with Anjali and Mami.

"Nani? " Khushi called out as she took the glass containing water Nani used to take her medication and placed it on the tray.

Nani smiled at her and playfully pinched her cheeks.

"Nani, why do you blame yourself for your daughter's death? ...... You are not responsible for what happened....... You knew Arvind Malik was not a good man and warned her but she disobeyed you....... Your late husband is also to be blamed for thinking more about his friendship with his business partner than all the red flags you saw in Arvind Malik. "

Nani sighed and held Khushi's hand stroking it as she asked.

"How much do you know about our past? "

"Arnav told me you were against their marriage because you found out cheating is normalized in their family and divorced your late husband after you found out he went behind your back and got Ratna married to Arvind....... I was also told you never attended his last rites after he died eight months after Ratna and Arvind's marriage........ Ratna confronted for not coming to see him when he got sick and not attending his funeral and that was the day you disowned her and threatened to disown Manohar if he keeps contact with Ratna and he obeyed and cut ties with Rarna...... Until he eloped with Mami and you also disowned him as you didn't believe Mami loved him....... You never involved yourself in their lives until after Ratna's death....... Manohar was going through financial difficulties and was finding it hard to provide for his family and in addition to Arnav and Anjali....... That's when you allowed them to live with you where you paid for Akash and Arnav's education but Anjali was too traumatized to what to continue her education and through this was the first time you ever started having relations with them........ Arnav told me the reason you blame yourself for Ratna death was because you have blocked the only support systems she had....... That was you and mamaji who hard to move far away because you refused to accept Mami....... That guilt you had made you favor Anjali alot because she resembles Ratna. " Nani nodded looking remorseful.

"And I regret ever favoring her....... Look at the monster she became...... She became no different from her father....... I failed in life my dear. "

Khushi shook her head as she wiped the tears streaming down Nani's cheeks.

"There is no denying you made mistakes like ever human on earth does but you are not responsible for Ratna's death....... Am sorry but she was just a broken but selfish woman........ She prioritised her pain over her own children....... She is the only one responsible for her death not you....... You were a better mother than she ever was........ You tried to protect your children from Arvind and the likes of Mami who didn't want a middle class girl as her in law because she thought Akash will experience what she did to Mamaji. " Nani frown at this in confusion. "Let me explain, Mami might love Mamaji today but I doubt she did in the beginning........ Prove is how she knows nothing about Akash...... She doesn't even know the schools he attended because all of this was done by Mamaji....... She spent all those times obsessing over makeups jewelry and parties....... She is afraid Akash might end up with someone like her that's why she is obsessed with wanting a high class daughter in law. "

Nani nodded finally realizing Khushi was right.

"Promise me something Nani. " Nani perked up and smiled as she nodded. "You will stop blaming yourself for Ratna's death and will make it up to Akash and Arnav........ It's not too late to give them the love and pampering they deserve from their grandmother........ Support them and prioritize them like you did to Anjali...... Wean yourself from Anjali's emotional manipulations and I promise you Nani, you will always be happy with just them...... You have done enough for Anjali...... This family has done more than enough for her so promise me. "

Nani teared up but nodded and leaned in giving Khushi a kiss on her forehead.

The smile on her face dropped for a few seconds but picked up again as Khushi turned to find Arnav, Akash and Manohar with their eyes shimmering with unshed tears.

She stood up from the bed and Nani opened her arms staring at Arnav and Akash who run and crawled unto the bed and into her arms as they all cried.

Manohar moved closer to Khushi and hugged her as he thanked her in tears for snapping his mother out of her blame and bringing her closer to her grandsons.

Dinner Time.

Arnav and Khushi together with Nani, Akash and Manohar sat down at the table to have dinner and they were all smiling until Anjali and Mami joined them and it pissed them all off except Nani who looked calm.

"I asked them to join us. " Nani said as all heads snapped at her. "Let me explain, they are here to eat with us this last time. " Anjali burst out crying and tried to speak but one deadly glare from Nani not only sent shivers down her spine but also shut her up. "From now on, Manu and Anjali including her husband will never join us at this table....... They are free to eat at the table but not with us....... They will never use the family name for their own gains...... They day I find out is the day they leave this house and family for good....... Hari Prakash and his brother or any helps in this house will not be accessed by them ever again .............Cars and ride  privilges included on the list of things they will not have access to...... They will not only cook for themselves but wash their owns clothes and run their own errands........ Disobey this and you all will be out........ The two of you will get one lahk on a monthly basis to share until Anjali and her husband leaves....... Manu will get half of it after they leave....... You better use it wisely as you won't be given any...... Now eat as today will be the last you have all this at your disposal. "

The others let out a sigh of relief and agreed with their punishment but Anjali stood up and limped to her room expecting Nani to call her but she heard her laughing at something Khushi said and she realised she has lost Nani for good.

"This is all you fault chote...... I will make you pay dearly....... You wait and watch. " She thought as she disappeared into her room.

The Next Day.

Mami and Anjali woke up to find HP and his brothers pulling out suitcases and were confused as to want was going on.

The door bell rang and Omprakash opened it and in entered Payal and Shashi which confused Mami and Anjali.

Mami didn't like the fact that Payal was here but was wondering just like Anjali who the man was until Khushi exclaimed.

"Babuji."

They watched Khushi run to the man and hugged him and they realised he was the man Khushi was praising as her father.

"What are you doing here and why didn't you telll me you were coming? "

"Devyaniji invited us on your vacation. " Shashi replied shocking Khushi who turned to Nani who was smiling.

"This was the surprise I wanted to give you....... I hope you like it. "

Khushi nodded, walked up to Nani and engulfed her in a hug as she whispered thank you to her.

"Hi Khushi. " Payal exclaimed nervously as everyone looked on at the two sisters.

"How are you jiji? " Khushi asked sincerely and Payal teared up happy hearing Khushi call her jiji.

Khushi was shocked when Shashi told her Payal was not only helping him at the sweet shop and has cut ties with Garima and buaji and she was also good at making design which had boosted their sweet business in a short time.

"Am fine and you look more beautiful than before........ Arnavji's magic is really working on you...... Look at how you are glowing." Payal teased making everyone except Anjali and Mami laughed seeing Khushi's expression.

"All this is my own doing...... All this man does is give me headaches........ See I even have grey hair because of him. " Khushi huffed glaring at Arnav who shook his head at his wife's untrue taunts.

"Lie all you want but everyone knows the truth. " Arnav teased and kissed her cheek making Khushi gasp in shock as they all laughed at them.

"We are getting late...... Let's leave now...... I will be riding with Manohar and Shashiji........  Akash and Payal will ride with Arnav and Khushi and Preeto and Aman will join us there. "

"I just hope those tom and Jerry duo get there in one piece. " Khushi said and they all except Akash and Payal laughed having seen a glimpse of their bickering on few occasions.

Akash and Payal were blushing lost in their own world as the family moved out.

Nani winked at her son who gave her thumbs up as this was their plan to bring Akash and Payal together.

This didn't go unnoticed by Anjali  and Mami  who were not only shocked finding out the family was going on a vacation but Nani and Manohar were in cahoots to bring Akash and Payal together.

"I won't let my son marry that low class girl......I don't care  if she is Khushi's sister." Mami exclaimed angrily.

"We are all alone in this Mami...... We better stick together or else these girls will completely turn everyone against us....... Khushi  has already brainwashed Arnav and look at the result....... We have been excluded from a family vacation  and if Payal enters this house then we will be treated like slaves."

Mami shuddered imagining herself  wearing torn clothes and serving  Payal and Khushi.

"You are right Anju......We have to get rid of them."

Anjali smirked hearing this and called Shyam to inform him about the family leaving for vacation and he promised to be back soon so that they can take advantage of their absence and execute their plans not knowing Arnav and Khushi will always be a step ahead of them.
