I arrived in England this morning and it was now 15 o'clock I had just waken up from my 2 hour nap because jet lag is a bitch. I did my hair in my usual braid and pulled on my beanie after pulling my front strands out. It was a chilly day in Milton Keynes. I was wearing my new pair of jeans that didn't really scream country girl. I pulled on a black dress shirt that were actually one of my horse shirts but they were just fine for normal wear. You couldn't tell the difference. I pulled on my sneakers as last and climbed into my cab. I went to the Williams factory and when I arrived I found out I was way out of tone. Woman were wearing pantalon and skirts with their hair neatly and tightly done not one strand out of place. I pulled off my beanie and swallowed. God why did I want to explore this world? I don't belong here. Well I've a contract for now so I guess I don't have a choose for this season. I walked to the front desk.

"Hai I'm here for an appointment."

The girl behind the desk looked me up and down and smiled softly at me.

"I think you're at the wrong address darling."

"No I'm not. Williams factory right?"

"Yes... what's you name?"

"Morgan Dixon."

"I'll have a look."

She gave me a fakish smile as she turned her head to the computer.

"Meeting with James Vowles?"

"Correct."

"Second floor and then meeting room 5 you'll find it when walking straight ahead."

"Thanks."

I gave her a soft smile before walking to the second floor. I sat down in meeting room 5 and waited for James to come. After a few more minutes the door opened and he entered.

"Morgan it's good to see you."

"Likewise James."

I shook his hand and we had some small talk before we both sat down again.

"So because you're gonna work with Hadley on being a PR agent. Together you'll work with Alex Albon. You can split the tasks but because you're not sure if this will be your first of many years I advise you doing more of the going around meetings with Alex and letting Hadley arrange everything and do most paperwork."

We talked for a while before the door opened and a tall guy came walking in. He looked grumpy as I gave him a smile.

"Morgan. This is Alex Albon. Alex this is Morgan Dixon one of your PR agents this year."

"Nice to meet you."

I said happily as I shook his hand. He sat down next to James without reacting to me.

"Jeez who pissed on your head?"

He let go a tiny smile but it disappeared quick enough. He staid silent again.

"Did you lose your voice or something?"

"No I didn't."

"Wow the guy can speak."

He smiled softly shaking his head in disapproval. James looked at Alex and back at me. He looked stunned at something and I didn't understand why. After a few more minutes of talking and exchanging a few smiles it was time to part ways. James leaded me to my office and closed the door behind me. The office was between Alex and Hadley's office. It was small but I liked to think it was my very first own office. After the closed the door he turned around and looked at me.

"Do you now Alex? Like before we met in the meeting room?"

"No it was the first time meeting him. Although people say he never smiles and that he's rude i have to disagree. He's nice and he does smile."

"Morgan."

"Yea?"

"It's the first time I saw him smile like ever."

I stopped looking around my office and turned my head to look at James. His face was looking serious. I frowned at him.

"So your saying I'm the first person who made him smile in your presence?"

"Yes. Morgan you need to keep this up. Maybe you're the miracle we need for his reputation that he can smile and that he can be happy."

"You know that's not how it works right? I can't force it on someone."

I smiled softly at him while I raised my eyebrows. He looked at me and smiled.

"You don't have to force it Morgan. Be yourself and everybody smiles around you. That's your energy. Wear your country clothes for all I care. Only on race weekends don't... we would get weird faces I think. Do whatever you want. I think Alex needs somebody from outside this world to help him out of his hole."

He gave me a smile before leaving my new office. Well I got a whole different job then I thought. I looked around my office one more time before going to Hadley her office. I knocked softly before a high pitched voice yelled a cue for me to come in. I opened the door and walked in closing it behind me.

"Hai I'm Morgan. We'll be working together as PR agents."

I gave her a huge smile and she squealed as she stood up.

"Oh my god look at your outfit. I love that you have the courage to wear something so casual in this building. I think we're gonna be besties."

I laughed at the girl in front of me. Hadley was the opposite from me. At least she looks like the opposite. She had brown hair that was ended a little over her shoulders as she she had it in a perfect slick ponytail. She wore a skirt with a Williams dress shirt. She had styled it perfectly to make it look professional and girly. In comparison to her I did look like I came from the country fields.

"Are you a real country girl? You have to be you're accent is laced with it!"

"Born and raised."

I smiled at her as she started rattling about all kind of things and I couldn't keep up.

"Oh I'm so sorry darling! I talk too much don't I? I'm sorry when I start talking I cant shut up."

I smiled at her and her frowning face turned into a smile.

"I don't mind. I'm a good listener."

"I love you already."

She clapped in her hands making me giggle a little bit. She hooked her arm in mine as she took me around the factory. She gave me a tour as we talked about all kind of stuff.

"So how long are you staying in England?"

"I fly back to the US on Saturday. So I've got 4 days after today."

"You're staying so short?"

"Mhm. I'm supposed to do most media duties on track. I won't be at the office a lot. Only in the months we race mostly in Europe."

"Right I forgot about that. It's more an internship job thingie right? To see if you really want to leave the country life?"

"Correct."

"Well you have to stay because I know I can't let my future bestie go like that."

I laughed softly as we arrived back at our offices. We exchanged phone numbers as we parted ways. I climbed behind my laptop and got to do a little bit of work for my first afternoon.
