Sunil walked up to his children who looked down ashamed and unable to meet their father's eyes.

"For years I have been unhappy because I spent my life with a venomous snake like your mother and because I didn't want you two growing up in a broken home but I realised I was losing myself and I needed to get out....... I showed you including my narcissistic mother here the truth about your mother but yet you still take her side and refuse to let me be happy......... I will give you two want you want. " Mansi and Anil looked at their father in shock. "You two will be leaving for your mother's place and never coming back........ You two are the reason she will not stop harassing me so I need to end her harassment....... I will provide for you financially but it ends there........ I am done with all of you....... I can't go on like this anymore........ Let's how much she loves now. "

Mansi and Anil were by now crying but Sunil ignored them and turned to his parents who look shocked by his decision.

"You wanted me to give maa a chance and yet she won't stop ruining my life........ I told you I didn't want her and them here because I knew this will happen........ She and them are a bunch of greedy people who only think about themselves....... What have I not done as a father to keep them safe......... What have I not sacrificed to make them happy and just for once........ Just for once I put myself first, they had to sabotage it. " Sunil yelled with tears streaming down his face and his father looking down ashamed. "I listened to maa and gave into her emotional blackmail to marry that witch and lived miserably because of that until I met Anjali. " Sunil turned and smiled lovely at Anjali who smiled through her tears knowing how he had to suffer at the hands of his ex wife and mother. "The first time I saw her my heart would'nt stop beating and I thought I was having a heart attack. " Anjali chuckled at his statement because she felt the same way. "When I left the orphanage after my check ups on the children, I felt like I left a part of me there........ I was inching to see her again and a glimpse of her gave me so much peace....... Not even her past stop me from knowing that she was a good woman whose only mistake in life was she blindly trust the wrong people...... Over the months I got to know her more and fell in love with her........ I never believed in love at first sight until I met her but if she being with me means she has to endure the monsters I am associated to then am sorry Anjali, I have to end our relationship now....... I love you too much to subject you to their abuse. "

Anjali started sobbing and Sunil unable to see her in tears looked away and walked up to Arvind and Arnav who looked stunned by what he had done and folded his hands.

"Am sorry for coming here and upsetting your family...... We will take our leave now. "

Arvind and Arnav nodded as Sunil dragged his children out as his father apologized to the family and dragged his wife out.

Anjali limped away in tears as Khushi and Payal followed her to console her.

"He seems like a good man who is unfortunately surrounded by some really awful people. " Maya exclaimed as the family took their seat in the hall.

Arnav felt what Sunil said as it was the same way he felt when Khushi was not around and when she was around.

Their was the same experience for Arvind when it came to Garima and they realised Sunil really loved Anjali and Maya was right about him.

"I approve of their relationship. " Isha said as all head snapped to her and the women nodded in agreement but the men looked sceptical.

"Maa, I want to but his children, ex wife and his mother are my biggest concern...... Now I don't doubt Sunil loves Di but his family are a package deal if they get married...... His children have been poisoned beyond redemption and am scared they might be a hindrance for Di's happiness because I know Di will never be at peace knowing his children have to live with their abusive mother because of her...... She will try to get them to like her and they will hurt her feelings o er and over again but I know Sunil will stand up for her....... One trouble to another will not make their marriage peaceful......... If Di and Sunil decided one day they want kids then it will get worse as the children will think he and Di are trying to replace them. "

Everyone understood his point of view too but the women were still team Sujali (Sunil and Anjali).

They after an hour of discussion were able to convince the men to allow Sujali try and date more until a solution about Sunil's family is reached.

Anjali's Room.

Arnav and Aman entered the room to find Khushi and Payal covering a sleeping Anjali with a comforter but the men didn't miss the lone tear streaming down Anjali's cheek and being absolved by the pillow.

Arnav felt a tug in his chest and he felt sorry for Anjali.

He moved closer and kissed her forehead making Anjali move in her sleep.

"Don't worry Di...... You will surely get your happy ever after soon. "

They all walked out leaving a sleeping Anjali alone.

"What have been decided? " Payal asked as they walked downstairs.

Aman revealed what they discussed and Khushi and Payal looked happy about it but Arnav was lost in thoughts which Khushi noticed.

She pulled him away from the hall to the garden and questioned what was bothering him.

Arnav hugged Khushi and let our a heavy sigh.

"We are all happy with our respective partners but I still can't shake off the feeling that Di won't be happy with Sunil not because of him but his family....... It looks like he is ready to give up on them for her but what if someday he regrets it and blames Anjali for it....... What then?"

Khushi smiled and cupped his cheeks in her hand.

"There is something called faith and hope....... Anjali is a grown woman and she has the right to make her own choices and mistakes....... Let her be with Sunil and allow her learn from her mistakes and choices...... That's the best part of growing up........ Yes she might had made some horrible mistakes in the past bit she has learned from them too...... She is beginning to feel suffocated by you and Arvind Papa's over protectiveness and if you and him don't stop, you might push her to make more mistakes....... Let her breath. "

Arnav took Khushi's hand and kissed them with a smile on his face.

"What would I do without you? "

Khushi laughed and hugged him and he reciprocated finally letting his guard down about Sujali's situation.

The Next Day.
City Hospital.

Sunil sat in his chivel chair with his head on the headrest staring at the ceiling of his office thinking about his life and his situation with Anjali.

It hurts him to let go off Anjali but he loves her too much to subject her to his family's abuse which he knew will happen because of how poisoned his children's mind has been filled by his toxic mother and ex wife.

The telephone on his desk rang which broke his reverie and he picked up to the most shocking announcement.

"Please let them in and please get some refreshments for them. "

Sunil looked around nervously and started fixing anything that was out of place in his office and a few seconds later, the door to his office opened and in entered Arvind and Arnav.

Sunil felt intimidated by the dominating aura they both exuded with saying a word.

Arvind saw this and smirked as Arnav kept on a poker face.

He nervously offered them to sit on his couch which only Arvind did with his leg crossed and him staring at Sunil.

Sunil smiled nervously and turned to find Arnav who had refused to sit scanning his office.

"He is really handsome. " Sunil thought as he stared at Arnav and he realised why he was the heartthrob to so many women including his female cousins who looked depressed after it was revealed he was not only married but had a daughter.

Arnav who felt his gaze turned and glared at him making Sunil gulp and Arvind snickered seeing the exchange between them.

"Mr Pediatrician? " Arvind called out surprising Sunil.

Arvind pointed to the couch facing him and Sunil sat down nervous.

"We had a chat between us after you left yesterday and we have come to conclusion that we couldn't curb the happiness of Anjali because of your awful children and her past........ Just like we told Anjali this morning, you have our permission to date Anjali but under a condition that you will find a way to fix your messy family first...... Until then, you and Anjali's marriage must be the last thing on your mind....... Understood. "

Sunil smiled widely and nodded and so did Arvind.

Arnav walked towards his father with his hands in his pocket and stared at Sunil.

"Your children need therapy and in my opinion sending them to live with their abusive mother will further destroy them....... I will suggest you leaving your parent's house and find your own house to live with them......... A change of environment will do them a lot of good because I know that for sure as changing my environment helped me cope with a lot of things in my life."

Sunil shook his head in disagreement taking both men aback.

"I respect your opinion Mr Raizada but I still stand by my decision and I sent them to their mother last night. "

Arnav and Arvind were shocked listening to him.

"My children need to learn their lesson and me disowning them is proof to my ex wife she can no longer use them against me....... In a few days she will begin to show her true colors as she has never really wanted them....... They were her pawns to antagonize and control me and knowing my ex wife, loosing control shows her true nature........ I haven't abandoned my children like everyone thinks........ I need to expose her and this is the only way...... So please trust me when I say what I did is for the  good of not only them but also Anju....... Kids are the most remorseful people's on earth and they will do anything to make it up to me when the time comes....... I will take advantage of this to make them see Anjali as the only woman who will love them genuinely....... It might be manipulative of me to do this but it's the only way I can get my children back and had a peaceful life with Anju....... As for my mother I have permanently cut her off and have gone low contact with my father has his blind love for her had enabled all of her horrible traits....... So don't worry MR Raizada, I have everything under control and one more thing, the haveli I live in belongs to me and not my parents....... I also prepared something for you. "

Sunil stood up and moved to his desk pulling out three different files and handing them to Arnav who looked through it.

"These are all the properties and small businesses I personally own and bought with my hard earned money....... I know it will be of use to prove I am not with Anjali because of her family's wealth........ I have made a name for myself through my hard work....... I hope this convinces you I am not like Shyam....... My love alone will not be enough to make Anjali happy...... Financial stability also helps make a relationship health and strong......... I will take good care of Anju both emotionally and financially....... I am the right man for Anju and I hope this is the beginning of me proving that to you. "

Arvind who has by now seen the content of the files nodded and Arnav smirked at him.

He then stood up and gave the file back to Sunil.

"We appreciate your honesty and your determination to give my daughter a peaceful and happy life........ We will take our leave now and welcome to the family. "

Arvind stretched out his hand and Sunil shook it happily.

Same with Arnav as the nurse entered with the refreshments but Sunil glared at her as he led the men out.

A few steps away stood Khushi kneeling in front of her baby stroller playing with Anaisha as Arnav joined them and picked up Anaisha who was giggling uncontrollably at her father's kisses rain down  her cheeks.

Khushi hugged Sunil revealing they came for Ana's monthly check up.

She invited him to dinner and he happily accepted as he watched the family leave the hospital through the private exit reserved for important people.

He smiled sheepishly as he couldn't wait to meet Anjali again.
