Lavanya stood in one of the private rooms staring at Mohan who had an oxygen mask on and unconscious in disgust.

"I can't believe my bad luck....... Because of you all my money is almost gone....... But thanks to your illness, I can finally meet your family and rub it in their face about how you chose me over them and also play the good and loving girlfriend to you." lavanya whispered with a sinister look on her face as she stroked Mohan's hair and kissed his forehead. "Wish me good luck...... Delhi, here I come. "

Lavanya walked out with a smirk on her face leaving Mohan behind.

A few minutes later, a doctor entered the ward and shook Mohan who abruptly opened his eyes.

"Lavanya is gone. " She reported and Mohan stood up and removed the oxygen mask, took off his hospital clothing as the doctor gave him a blue Lacoste to wear.

"Mohan I don't agree to what you are doing...... You have to tell your mother the truth..... She loves you and so does your sisters judging from what you told me about them..... Lavanya is going to Delhi and could be a danger to them especially Khushiji. "

Mohan shook his head as he stood up and held the doctor's hand.

"I can't tell them until am sure Lavanya doesn't have any money to help her hurt my family and I have succeeded in doing that thanks to you. " Mohan smiled looking grateful to his friend Nandini but the smile on his face faltered and was replaced by a look of concern."Nandini am scared Lavanya might sue the hospital if the truth comes out. "

Nandini smiled shaking her head as she cupped his face in her hands.

"You know Papa loves me more than anything and he agreed to help us........ We have our legal team cover any lose ends that Lavanya might use against us and I and my family will forever be indebted to you for saving my life during our time in high school....... Maa just pass away six months before that accident where you saved me........ Papa would have been dead by now if you hadn't saved me that day and that's why he doesn't care about putting his life achievement in the form of this hospital at risk just for you...... So what are you going to do now. "

Mohan sighed and stared at his friend and helper.

"Am going back to Delhi....... Lavanya's chapter has to come to an end. "

Ajay with the help of a walking aid entered the mansion with Shashi and Isha only to find Khushi crying with a frustrated Arnav throwing daggers at Aman who looked petrified as Payal consoled Khushi.

Khushi stopped crying and wiped her cheeks as she sniffled.

Ajay and Shashi chuckled knowing Khushi has gone on one of her tantrums episodes again but couldn't figure out why Arnav was looking ready to rip apart Aman until the saw the chocolate box in his hands.

"Jiji, this lad Gorvenor hates me...... He is depriving me and out baby some nice sweet chocolate. " Khushi complained throwing daggers at Arnav who was taken aback by her accusations.

"What the?" Arnav exclaimed in shock but later continued in a soft tone."Khushi, I'm not depriving you........ You have taken enough sweets for the day and I am just following the doctors instructions. "

"To hell with you and that doctor who hadn't left me in peace. " Everyone flinched back hearing her yelling as she stood up and waddled upstairs with her eight months bulging belly leaving the others behind.

"I swear I didn't know she already had sweets this morning..... She called me to get her some chocolate on my way from the office. " Aman immediately proclaimed his innocence because he knew Arnav was about to accuse him.

Arnav glared at Aman and walked upstairs to his room.

Ajay and the others walked up to them and Payal explained how Aman brought Khushi chocolate which Arnav had denied Khushi when she called him to buy her some since she eat a huge batch a few hours ago.

Isha shook her head at Khushi's stubbornness which has increased a thousand percent since she got pregnant.

Arshi's Room.

Arnav closed the door to find a pregnant Khushi sitting on the bed with her back resting on the a pillow she had placed between herself and the headrest of the bed.

She was flipping through a magazine space hard that Arnav felt sorry for the magazine.

He sighed and crawled onto the bed sitting beside her.

"Khushi, I'm not strictly monitoring you diet because I want to but it becomes I love you and concerned about you. " Khushi's angry expression mellowed whe she realised what Arnav was talking about.

A few weeks ago, Khushi had a pregnancy scare where her blood pressure shot up without warning and she had fainted in the bathtub and even though it was normal for pregnant women to have that scare, Arnav was traumatized by the scene and this has made him extremely overly protective than he was before.

"I don't want to live in a world without you...... I know this will sound selfish of me but if ever I were to chose you or our baby, I will choose you even if that means hating me....... You have had enough calories for the day and I know women who are close to delivery have more crazy cravings and it's nearly impossible to control them...... But we have to be careful and of that means depriving you of your favorite chocolates then so be it. "

Khushi held her eyes and apologized to Arnav after she realised she overreacted.

Arnav shook his head and was about to hug her when Khushi gasped making Arnav jerk but smiled after a few seconds realizing what happened.

"My little princess is so eager to come out to an extent that she is kicking more than usual. " Arnav spoke to Khushi's belly and she smiled.

"Why did you always say princess....... It might be a prince you know. "

Arnav shook his head while caressing her belly.

"My heart tells me it's a princess just like it told me you were my soulmate....... And the heart never lies. "

Khushi smiled, cupped his face and kissed him passionately which Arnav reciprocated.

Payal sat relaxing by the pool with her feet in the water when Aman walked up to her and handed her an orange juice as he sat by her and she placed her head on his shoulder.

"You are thinking about Mohan right? "

Payal nodded as she took a sip of her juice and lifted her head and stared at him.

"Maa claims she has disowned him but I know she has detectives looking for him behind closed doors ........ Khushi and Arnav are angry at him especially Arnav after what Mohan did to Khushi the day he chose Lavanya over us...... Has your people found him? "

Aman shook his head looking disappointed and Payal kissed his cheek and smiled at him.

"I know you are doing your best and I love you for that....... I just hope when we find him, I can drill some sense into his thick skull. " Payal whispered and placed her head back on his shoulder again.

Flashback.

Seven Months Earlier.

It's been a month since the family has been on the island and it was the best decision the family has ever made.

Shashi was finally coming out of his depression due to mainly daughters Payal and Khushi and the presence of his old friends and seeing his daughters happy made all his hurt and worries disappear.

Despite the tense the presence of Lavanya brought, they were all happy.

Everyone was cordial with Lavanya especially the youngsters and seeing Mohan looking so happy with Lavanya made Khushi and Payal put their guard down but it was about to to be the worst mistake ever.

A month into their stay, one morning Arnav with a towel had dragged Lavanya in a robe crying into the outdoor dining area and pushed her ont the floor.

Everyone was in shock as Mohan helped Lavanya up.

Khushi rushed to Arnav who looked at of he was about to bounce on Lavanya and held him.

"Bhai what's this nonsense? " Mohan chided angrily at Arnav who was glaring at a crying Lavanya.

"This thing came into our room and stripped herself naked and entered the bathroom where I was showing and hugged me from behind and when I pushed her off, she still came onto me. " Arnav angrily explained as everyone glared at Lavanya in disgust.

"Is this true? " Mohan asked looking disappointed at Lavanya who shook her head wailing.

"It's a misunderstanding. " Lavanya responded and Arnav charged at her but Khushi and Aman managed to pull him back as Lavanya hid behind Mohan. "I swear Mohan...... It's only a misunderstanding. "

"Girl stop screeching behind my son and explained yourself. " Isha demanded looking annoyed and Lavanya moved away from Mohan and looked down fidgeting with her robe.

"I just wanted to take a shower with Mohan and since all the doors were the same, I entered their room thinking it was Mohan's." Lavanya cried and Payal rolled her eyes at her lies.

"Do I look stupid to you young lady? " Isha asked as she walked up to a shocked Lavanya."Arnav is six feet three in height...... Compare to his built and muscles, Mohan is two and half times less that Arnav and Mohan is also five feet eight sp tell me how exactly did you mistake Arnav for Mohan. "

Lavanya looked flustered seeing everyone including Mohan staring at her suspiciously and she shook her head crying.

"I swear it was a mistake....... My eyes was closed when I entered the bathroom and hugged Arnav mistaking him for Mohan....... I didn't do anything wrong...... I didn't do anything wrong. " Lavanya repeated crying hysterically and Mohan hugged her rubbing her back to calm her down.

"It's okay baby..... It's all a misunderstanding. "

Everyone stared at Mohan in disbelief seeing him dismissing the fact that Arnav revealed she still came onto him.

"I better leave now...... I don't want to be amongst people who will always question my moral and character. " Lavanya exclaimed and breaking the hug as she walked away but Mohan held her hand shaking his head at her.

"Mohan let her go....... She is not right for you....... Her envy when she sees Arnav and chutki together and this is the last straw....... You deserve better and she is the worst for you. " Isha said sternly as the others nodded.

"Maa are you asking me to chose? " Mohan questioned and everyone felt the disappointment in his voice.

"Let her go Mohan...... She is not right for you....... Am not asking you to chose...... I want you to make the right decision and it's this girl leaving not only this island but your life as well."

"I chose Lavanya. " Everyone stared at Mohan in shock and Isha stumbled backwards but Arnav held her breaking her fall.

"Lavanya is not the only one leaving this island...... I am leaving too and out of your lives as well....... If you can accept Arnav after everything he did to Khushi di then why can't you accept Lavanya for this small mistake? "

Payal walked up to the table and took her phone, unlock it and played the video of Lavanya and Arnav.

They others including Arnav was shocked seeing and hearing everything.

"This is the woman you are giving up your family for...... This shameless woman is who you are giving up your family for. "

"Yes."

Mohan's answered shook the family and Isha was the most hurt of all of them.

Even after seeing all this, you still chose her? " Isha asked hurt and almost on the verge of tears.

"Yes maa I chose Lavanya and yes I know she went to meet Arnav to get closure..... She told me about it two days after arriving here....... Let me repeat myself again..... I chose Lavanya. "

Everyone was devastated and in all this, no one saw the victorious smirk on Lavanya's lips.

"Fine....... You have made your choice...... From now one, Mohan is no longer part of this family and anyone who speaks to him will be expelled from this family for good........ Since this vacation is family only, Mohan Sinha, leave this island immediately. "

Mohan looked hurt hearing her mother call him by his former last name.

He turned, grabbed Lavanya and after an hour, they left the island.

On their way to helicopter, Khushi rushed to Mohan trying to dissuade him from leaving but he was adamant to an extent that, he shoved Khushi off him making her fall down and hit her head on the floor making it bleed.

The family who was watching run up to Khushi to help her as Lavanya dragged Mohan into the helicopter and they both watched at Arnav carried Khushi into the mansion.

The vacation was ruined after Khushi got hurt and Lavanya left with Mohan but a good news lightened their mood when the doctor who treated Khushi wound adviced them to make Khushi run some tests.

By nightfall, it was discovered at the hospital that Khushi was a month pregnant making the family rejoice except Khushi and Arnav who rejoiced later as they were too shocked to join the family for their first reaction.

Even though the pregnancy wasn't planned, the family was happy especially with what happened a few hours ago.

Arnav vowed to punish Mohan for what he did and so did Aman.

Nightfall.

The entire family after dinner sat in the hall discussing the arrangement for Khushi's baby shower ceremony since it was postponed due her recent health scare.

The door bell rang alerting the family who wondered who that could be since they were all home.

Hari Prakash who was now back with his family to RM for the past six months since the family moved back in run to open the door.

He was surprised seeing the person at the door and opened the door to let the person in.

The family stood up with some in shock and others angry seeing none other than Lavanya smiling at them.

The smile didn't last long when her eyes fell on Khushi's baby bumb.

"Khushi?...... You are pregnant? " Lavanya exclaimed shocked and Khushi walked up to her with the most innocent look and nodded.

Everyone knew Lavanya was obsessed with Arnav and this was khushi's way of rubbing it in her face.

Lavanya reached out to touch her belly but a hand held her wrist and Lavanya who was family with the hand looked up to find Mohan staring daggers at her and this sent chills down her spine.
