TROUBLED INTO RELENTLESS ESCAPE
The next morning arrived with the incipience of unpredictable and uncertain strokes of danger awaiting the two souls, poised to tempt fate and alter their destiny—or perhaps not. The demon himself eagerly awaited the inevitable consequences of his ambitions, seated on his throne of blood and power. These words spoke volumes, hinting at the most powerful and ruthless mafia ruler's anticipation for the fallout of his actions. His rise to supreme power had trapped him in a dangerous, psychotic existence. In control, surrounded by violence and power, he remained bound to the demons residing within his soul. This demon, disguised as a human, was Jeon Jeonggukk, a walking embodiment of death.
The Jeon Mafia's mission to overtake the authentic Italian mafias was no easy feat, especially on European soil where these organizations had deep roots. The names Massimo Torricelli and Vincenzo Cassano had been haunting Jeonggukk and Jungkook's mind for some time now.
Jeonggukk knew exactly what he needed to overthrow these two formidable Italian empires: an alliance with the Gulf powers. He had an urgent meeting with the underworld ruler of Iran, the crown prince of Iran's royal family, Hasim-bin-ul Sadiq. The unimaginable coalition of these two powers—the Gulf and the Korean Jeon Mafia—was certain to deal a significant blow to the European Mafias.
Jeonggukk had decided to personally fly to Iran to secure this partnership with the Iranian underworld. Iran had long been infamous for breeding some of the world's most notorious terrorists. Jeonggukk's reputation in the global underworld was already formidable. The prince was more than willing to join hands with the Korean mafia ruler, Jeon Jeonggukk. They were about to seal deals on numerous contracts and partnerships—legal and illegal alike. This necessitated proper legal backing, and the name Park Jiwon was immensely appealing to the demon Jeon Jeonggukk.
In exchange for highly advanced technological assets, including new and unique UAV vehicles, warships, tanks, and other machinery and gadgets that the Jeon Mafia provided to the Iranian prince, they were to receive tons of gold from the Gulf's wealth, amassed from the oil-rich lands. This partnership was not merely about acquiring gold; it was about obtaining highly advanced weapons from the Gulf mafia world.
With this alliance, the Jeon Mafia empire would become an untamable force in the dark world—unstoppable and indestructible. Jeon Jeonggukk himself was going to attend this meeting personally. As the mafia king landed on the sands of Iran, his right hand, Park Jimin, and the attorney for the contract, Park Jiwon, along with other mafia members, reached the Iranian royal palace. The demon king was escorted like royalty. The deal was sealed, and the exchange of possessions took place, with a sinister, satisfied smirk plastered over Jeonggukk's gorgeously handsome face.
The team returned to Korea, their private jet landing on Jeon properties near Jeju Island.
"Are we trying to distract them, the Torricellis, by landing here, Master?" Jimin asked, realizing they were landing directly at the Jeon Mafia control base instead of the Jeon mansion.
"Of course, brother. There's a high chance they won't let us breathe if we transport this much gold and weapons directly. Are you so naive?" Jiwon mocked her brother, who scoffed and rolled his eyes.
"Never underestimate your opponents—the most basic rule of ruling, Jimin. I want you to take another route with the gold and weapons. Those Torricellis must be ready to attack us. I want them to follow me and be distracted. By the time they face my wrath, the gold and weapons will be safely stored in Jeon properties," Jeonggukk ordered, his eyes blazing with a strange energy that could make one question their very existence.
"Yes, Master. While we distract them, I'll be long gone, and they won't see it coming," Jimin replied, instructing the driver to halt the matte black Rolls Royce. Jimin then exited with other cars and large trucks via another route. Per Jeonggukk's orders, the gold and weapons were transported safely to Jeon properties—some by road, others by private choppers.
Meanwhile, empty trucks followed Jeonggukk's black car, manned by his guards to mislead the Torricellis. However, the peculiar detail was that Jeonggukk's car now contained two individuals who despised each other, along with a silent driver. The atmosphere was tense, with neither uttering a word.
But something unexpected occurred. They had anticipated an attack involving gunfire, but in an instant, the trailing vehicles were obliterated into ashes, bombarded heavily. Jeonggukk's driver accelerated, attempting to outrun the enemies. Yet, as Jeonggukk's car remained the sole survivor, the Torricellis unleashed a hail of bullets.
"Jiwon, keep your head down and hold on tight," Jeonggukk shouted as bullets began to crack the bulletproof glass of the Rolls Royce.
"But we never expected this! Did they really obliterate our entire team with those bombs? Are the Torricellis this desperate to kill you?" Jiwon asked in disbelief, covering her head and bending down to avoid the bullets.
"It's not just the Torricellis. We're under attack by the Cassanos as well, which explains the unexpected bombardment. I hope you've got your gun with you, Ms. Park?" Jeonggukk asked loudly, growing tense as he strategized their next move. Testaments to the ferocity of their enemies. Jeonggukk's mind raced, analyzing every detail, calculating every possible move. His face, a mask of calm, belied the storm brewing within.
"Driver, maintain speed but prepare for evasive maneuvers," Jeonggukk commanded, his voice cold and authoritative. The driver nodded, his knuckles white against the steering wheel as he pushed the car to its limits.
Jiwon, beside him, clutched her gun, her eyes darting nervously between the windows and Jeonggukk. "What's our plan, Mr. Jeon? We're outnumbered and outgunned."
Jeonggukk's lips curled into a sardonic smile. "Our plan, Jiwon, is to survive. And then, we make them pay."
The road ahead was a blur, the landscape flashing by as they sped towards a precarious escape. The enemy vehicles closed in, their silhouettes growing larger in the rearview mirror. Gunfire erupted once more, bullets pinging off the armored exterior of the Rolls Royce.
The minutes stretched into an eternity as the pursuit continued. The enemy's relentless assault showed no signs of abating. Explosions erupted behind them, the shockwaves rocking their vehicle.
"Hang on!" the driver shouted as he swerved to avoid a flaming wreck. The car fishtailed but quickly regained its course.
But the driver wasn't able to manage the high level of crazy speed of the car in which they were trying to out pass the enemies, which resulted the driver to panic. Before he could process the bulletproof glasses broke and the bullet passed straight to the drivers forehead resulting him to die on spot within a spilt of second seeing this both of them were horrified. The car was in high speed could crash any moment without drive. The billers were still piercing the glass car windows which was barely protecting two of them.
Seeing the dead driver Jeonggukk suddenly jumps in front seat from backside as he quickly pushes the drivers dead body on to the side seat with his strong strength. In the sadist of heavy bullets shooting towards them, he manages to race the car now at its high speed, driving insanely fast. As he while driving with his one hand shoots the enemies in counter attack with his gun. But the car needs to proper group to control with that crazy speed. He orders Jiwon to take control of the situation as he now focus on racing the car away as much as possible away from the enemies who were now covering them from all sides.
"Ms. Park shoot the ones that are following us from the other route when I say, I will try to surpass the ones which are trailing behind us." Jeonggukk said in his heavy breath as both of them shared quick glances. Jiwon now was ready to act according to Jeonggukk's order.
Jeonggukk's mind worked like a finely tuned machine, each decision calculated with precision. He knew they were headed for a trap, but he also knew that victory often required risking everything.
"Prepare for impact," Jeonggukk warned as the enemy vehicles drew closer. "Ms.Park, when I give the signal, unleash hell."
Jiwon nodded, her grip tightening on her weapon. The tension in the car was palpable, every second fraught with danger.
"Now shoot!" Jeonggukk shouted. Jiwon leaned out of the window, her gun blazing as she fired at the approaching vehicles. The sudden onslaught caught their pursuers off guard, several cars careening off the road in a flurry of sparks and metal.
"Good work, Ms. Park," Jeonggukk praised, his eyes narrowing as he spotted an opening. "I will, take the next left. We're heading into the mountains."
The car swerved sharply, the tires screeching as they veered onto a narrow, winding road. The mountains loomed ahead, their jagged peaks a daunting challenge.
"Are you sure about this?" Jiwon asked, her voice edged with doubt.
"Doesn't look like where got other option right now , Ms. Park." Jeonggukk gritted his teeth, maneuvering the car with expert precision. Yet, the relentless pursuit and the treacherous mountain roads pushed the vehicle to its limits.
As they rounded a sharp bend, the tires lost traction on the loose gravel. "Brace yourself!" Jeonggukk shouted, his voice sharp with urgency.
The car skidded wildly, hurtling toward a massive tree. The impact was catastrophic. Metal crumpled and glass shattered, the force of the collision throwing Jiwon and Jeonggukk against their seats. The world spun chaotically before coming to a violent halt. The car was badly hit into the tree almost unrecognisable air bags out. Jeonggukk,a head slightly bleeding while the broken glass pieces had slit Jiwon's skin near her eyes.
Dazed but not defeated, Jeonggukk shook off the shock. "Move, Ms. Park! We're sitting ducks here." His voice, though hoarse, carried a commanding authority.
Jiwon, clutching her aching side, nodded and scrambled out of the wreckage. Jeonggukk followed, grabbing a couple of spare lighter and a sharp knife from the glove compartment before exiting.
"We have to disappear into the forest," Jeonggukk growled, scanning their surroundings. "It's our only chance."
Jiwon, her breath heavy with adrenaline, followed him into the dense undergrowth. The forest was a labyrinth of twisted trees and thick foliage, offering a slim hope of evasion.
"Stay close and keep quiet," Jeonggukk ordered, his eyes piercing through the shadows.
The air was filled with the sounds of pursuit—the shouts of their enemies, the distant roar of engines, the crunch of boots on forest floor. Jeonggukk's mind raced, calculating their next move. They had few bullets left, and direct confrontation was not an option.
"Over there," he whispered, pointing to a dense thicket. "We can hide there for a moment."
They crouched in the shadows, barely breathing as their pursuers drew closer. The tension was thick, each second stretching into an eternity. Jeonggukk's eyes never left the enemy, his mind a whirlwind of strategies.
As the first of their pursuers neared their position, Jeonggukk moved like a shadow, silent and lethal. With a swift, precise motion, he took out the nearest enemy, his blade flashing in the dim light. While they moving deeper into the forest, running as fast as they could.
"Jiwon, take the one on the right," he whispered, his voice a dangerous calm.
Jiwon nodded, her hand steady as she took aim and fired. The shot was true, and another enemy fell. But the forest was alive with danger, and more were closing in.
"We need to keep moving," Jeonggukk said, his voice a low growl. "Stay close and watch my back."
They moved deeper into the forest, using the terrain to their advantage. Every step was calculated, every decision a matter of life and death. Jeonggukk's mind was a razor's edge, each thought sharp and deadly.
The forest seemed to close in around them, a living, breathing entity that both sheltered and threatened. The air was thick with tension, the shadows alive with danger. Yet, in the midst of it all, Jeonggukk remained a figure of cold, unyielding resolve.
The enemy, relentless and methodical, fanned out in search of their prey. Their flashlights cut through the darkness, sweeping the forest floor. The occasional bark of orders in Italian echoed through the trees, adding to the oppressive sense of danger.
Jeonggukk and Jiwon moved in tandem, silent and efficient. They knew they were outnumbered, and their only advantage was the cover of the forest and the element of surprise.
Finally, one of their pursuers managed to follow them and appeared, a beam of light piercing the darkness. Jeonggukk's muscles tensed, ready to strike. As the enemy stepped closer, he made his move, swift and lethal. The man fell silently into the ravine, his flashlight tumbling after him.
Jiwon followed suit, her shots precise and deadly. One by one, their enemies fell into the trap, their numbers dwindling. But it was a temporary reprieve. They knew more would come.
"We can't stay here," Jeonggukk said, his voice a harsh whisper. "We need to keep moving."
They continued deeper into the forest, the sounds of pursuit fading slightly but never disappearing. The terrain grew more challenging, the underbrush thicker. Every step was a battle against fatigue and the ever-present threat of discovery.
"We're close to safe," Jeonggukk murmured, his eyes scanning the terrain. "I think we surpassed them, they won't be following this deepen through the forest." Jeonggukk was a force to be reckoned with. His enemies would learn the hard way that crossing Jeon Jeonggukk was a fatal mistake. He was just waiting for the time being as once he reach out safely from these dark words he will show them what's it is to mess with the demon himself.
