Couple of months passed ... Shadow was With Doctor Gerald telling him about some things in space ... Then shadow asked a very "dangerous question" about himself...

Shadow: uhh Doctor..

Gerald: yes shadow?

Shadow: what's that book?

Gerald: *got nervous* why would you want to know about it?

Shadow: because the cover of it has the same shape of ... me?

Gerald: Shadow... these things are dangerous for you to know so don't bother yourself thinking about that book alright?!! *looks angry*

Shadow: y-yes .. alright doctor 

After some time... maria was calling shadow to play together 

Maria(10 years old): BROTHER! *shouting everywhere & looking for him*

Gerald: Maria what's with all that shouting??

Maria: Grandpa ... where's shadow? 

Gerald: he's in my lab .. we are having a conversation.. so .. you need to wait until we finish 

Maria: how long you'll take with him?

Gerald: just wait for half an hour and i'll call you

Maria: alright...

After half an hour ... gerald & shadow had the conversation ... Gerald went to take a nap because he and shadow were talking since the morning ... Maria went to shadow and she asked him about that conversation...

Maria: what grandpa said to you there?

Shadow: he said about some things.. about me .. but can you go with me?..i need that book !

Maria: what book?

Shadow: i don't know but it has the cover of it has the same shape of me and .. a structure of my body ....I need to get that book! 

Maria: *hold his hand* w-wait!! If you want it that bad then .. my grandpa was warning you about not to read it right?!?!

Shadow: H-HUH?!? How did you know!?

Maria: uhh .. probably didn't listen to your conversation—

Shadow: *gives a serious look* yeah? "Probably"

Maria: heheh...

Shadow: are you going with me or not?

Maria: i don't know.. what if grandpa really doesn't want you to read that book? It could have some kind of magic that we won't understand...only him..

Shadow: i don't care— i want that book I'm so curious to read it!!

Maria: fiiiinnnnee..... i'll go with you grumpy face..

Shadow: *gives an angry look* don't let me make you eat your wo—

Maria: *gives puppy eyes*

Shadow: ..........*blush a bit*

Maria: *giggles* I know you won't hurt your sister~

Shadow: maria...please stop...*blush*

Maria: *hugs* 

Shadow: *blush a bit and sighs*

Shadow and maria sneaks to the lab ... they took that book and ran away to Maria's room...

Maria: shadow.. i feel about something bad will happen if we read this book...just look at the cover it's...scary..

Shadow: Maria...if something bad happened...then I'll protect you alright?

Maria: alright... *seating besides shadow*

Now both of them are reading the book ... the book of "The structure of a demon's body and powers"... maria got freaked out from the horrid pictures of the book ... 

Maria: SHADOW CLOSE THAT CURSED BOOK!!! *take it and throw it away*

Shadow: WHAT'S WRONG!?!? ....You're....shaking...

Maria: *pout face* shadow...that book is about DEMONS!!!

Shadow: So?!?! I know it's for them!! But why did you do that!??

Maria: I HATE DEMONS!!

Shadow: you .. hate demons...

Maria: yes... I can't stand them .. they are savage and scary...

Shadow: *sighs but ears down* alright...i'll go put it back...

Maria Was still scared about those creepy pictures she saw... after shadow returned...she felt safe because they are together...but the thing that Maria doesn't know is ...this...

Maria: brother ... you ok?

Shadow: yeah...

Maria: you look ... upset?

Shadow: No i'm not ... *crossed arms with ears down*

Maria: d-did i say something hurtful to you?!? *pout face*

Shadow: No you're not...

Maria: ....... 

Maria: *holds shadows hands* tell me ... did i say something bad about you??....

Shadow: *sigh* .... Well i don't know if you listen to the full "conversation" this morning ... or if you know this before but ... you said that ... you hate demons..?

Maria: uhh ... yes .. is something wrong about it?

Shadow: *nervous* i ..i..I'm a demon...

Maria: WHAT!!?? NO— you're kidding me right?? Is that some kind of a joke? ...I know grandpa would never do something i hate for me...

Shadow: *ears down with pout face* I'm an actual demon...maria...

Maria: NO— NO YOU'RE NOT!! SHADOW DON'T LIE AT ME *starts to cry*

Shadow: *looks at her trying not to cry*.....

Gerald: KIDS!! What's going on with all this screaming ?!?!?

Maria: Grandpa!! Shadow isn't a demon r-right?!?! *sobs*

Gerald: what?!. *looks at shadow*

Shadow: *feels so guilty because gerald told him about not to tell maria about his secret*

Gerald: *hugs maria* shadow ... why did you tell her??!

Shadow: d-doctor ... I couldn't resist myself ... I can't hide any secrets from her ... and ... I promised her to tell any secrets i have ... I'M VERY SORRY!!! *feels very bad/runs to a room ... locked it up...and started to cry...*

Gerald: SHADOW WAIT—

Gerald: Maria ...dear ..  I'm very sorry to hide this information from you but .. I created shadow to be a "demon" using that book that i knew you both read it ...and that's why i don't want shadow to discover it .. because he's still young to understand and control his powers right now...it would make him dangerous to himself...and on us...

Maria: *sigh* i'll go talk to him...

Gerald: *feels worried about them both*

Maria: SHADOW! Open the door! ...please...

Shadow: *crying* 

Maria: please open the door! I'm terribly sorry for saying all that bad stuff!!

Shadow: ........

Maria: please...listen...I didn't know you're a demon...alright?? ... but I can't say that i hate you... i still love you....also when you said that you "promised to not hide secrets from me" in that day ... I know i can trust you ... you're very loyal ... brother...but please open the door!!!

Shadow: *opens the door....staring at maria with sad eyes and ears down*

Maria: *gives him a big hug*

Shadow: *sobs* .... You .. don't hate ... m-me?!

Maria: no .. no i don't ... i love you ...

Shadow: .. i love you... too *hugs*

Gerald: *sigh* I apologize for everything kids ... 

Maria: it's ok grandpa...

Shadow: *wipes his tears* 

Gerald: *pats shadow's head*

Shadow: !!!???

Gerald: we'll discuss more .. about you shadow .. and this time ... maria will be with us .. 

Shadow: *smiles to maria*

Maria: *hugs him again* at least I'll know more about you brother! *giggles*

Shadow: *hugs again*
