Mavis stirs awake and sits up straight. "Jay? Are you okay? What's wrong?"
Jayson looks at Mavis with glimpses of his nightmare goes through his mind.
"We need to talk." Jayson said in a worried tone.
"Okay, what is it?" Mavis asked.
"Do you remember what I told you about my nightmare? About you falling?" Jayson said.
"Yeah, you told me. And we said that we didn't have to worry." said Mavis.
Jayson looks at Mavis with a worried look on his face, and which Mavis becomes worried herself.
"You had the same nightmare again, didn't you?" Mavis asked.
"Yeah, I did." Jayson tells her. "You were falling through a tower, you were surrounded by fire and bricks, and I flew down to you. I don't know and I can't explain it."
"And now, you're worried about losing me." Mavis said, understanding how worried Jayson is. "You're not gonna lose me, Jay."
Jayson and Mavis exchange soft looks at each other and she gently caress his cheek with her hand.
"I'm right here with you." Mavis said to him.
Jayson and Mavis exchange small smiles at each other and she pecks a kiss on his forehead.
"Let's go back to sleep, don't want to be cranky in the morning." Mavis said.
Jayson and Mavis exchange playful chuckles with each other. They both gently lays back down with the fluffy bedcover covering them both.
Jayson gently spoons Mavis from behind, gently holding her close to him as they both go back to sleep.

"What? Why?" Jayson asked.
"My Dad and I are having dinner with the Mayor. My Mom, dude." said Frankie with a smile.
"Don't eat too much, you're already thick." Jayson playfully teased him about Frankie's thickness.
"Shut up, Jay." Frankie said.
Both Jayson and Frankie playfully chuckles with each other.
"Why are you playfully teasing me about my thickness, Jay?" Frankie asked.
"Relax, I'm just playfully messing around with you. And I playfully tease you about your thickness because I'm your best friend." Jayson said. "Besides, I need your help with something."
"Okay, buddy, with what?" Frankie asked.

"Why are we at the jewelry store? Are you getting a gift for your Mom or your grandma?" Frankie asked.
"Even though, I love my Mom and Grandma with all of my heart, it's a gift for someone else." said Jayson.
Frankie small smiles at Jayson and he small smiles back at her.
"Oh, shit. You're gonna ask Mavis to marry you." Frankie said.
"Yeah, I am." Jayson said with a happy smile.
"Congratulations, Jayson." Frankie said.
"Thanks, Frankie." Jayson said.
Jayson and Frankie slowly walks up to the counter and looks at the rings.
"Hello there. How am I help you?" The jewelry store woman asked.
"I would like to buy an engagement ring for my girlfriend." Jayson said.
"Alright, then." The jewelry store woman said, taking out a display case and opens it, revealing some engagement ring.
Jayson looks at a green engagement ring. "How much does the green engagement ring cost?"
"$197.00." The jewelry store woman told him.
"Shit." Jayson said, gently runs his hand in his brown shaggy hair, but then, he remembered the cash he's been saving in his savings account. "Wait, I got it."
"You do?" Frankie said, a bit surprised.
"Yeah, dude, I've been saving money in my savings account." Jayson told him, taking out his wallet and pays for the engagement ring.
"Oh." Frankie said, realizing that Jayson has a job as a photographer.
Jayson gives Frankie a really look on his face. "Gosh."

Jayson opens the door and closes it behind him. "Hi, Mr. Curtis."
"Hi, Jayson." Curtis Haddock greeted him with a small polite smile. "Mavis is quite busy as of right now."
"It's okay, I get it." Jayson said, sitting in a sofa chair in front of Curtis Haddock's desk. "And speaking of Mavis, I, uh, I wanted to asks for your permission."
"My permission for what?" Curtis asked, a bit confused.
"I would like to marry your daughter." Jayson said to him.
And Curtis happy smiles at Jayson. "Absolutely you can, Jayson."
"Really?" Jayson said.
"Yes, really. You and Mavis have been in love with each other since the two of you were in middle school and high school together." Curtis Haddock said. "And you're such a gentleman for asking me."
"Thanks." Jayson said. "And please, don't tell Mavis."
"I won't." Curtis Haddock said.
"Alright, I'll see you around." Jayson said, getting up and walks away.
"You too, Jay." said Curtis and he resumes his computer work.
As Jayson walks away, he and Mavis exchange looks at each other.
"Jayson?" Mavis said.
"Hey, Mavy." Jayson said.
Jayson and Mavis shares a hug with each other.
"What are you doing here? Is everything okay?" Mavis asked.
"Yeah, everything's fine." Jayson reassured her. "I'll see you later for some ice cream."

PARK
Later that evening, Jayson and Mavis are taking a stroll together, eating small spoonfuls of their ice cream sundaes with plastic spoons.
"Do you remember when me, you and Frankie were little kids, we would eat ice cream sundaes at my grandma's café?" Jayson asked.
"Yeah, I do." Mavis said to him. "You, me and Frankie were nicknamed 'The Little Munchkins' by your grandma, Melissa."
"Yeah, and I was the mischievous one." Jayson said.
Jayson and Mavis exchange playful chuckles with each other and they sits down on a bench.
"Why are you bringing up our childhood, Jay?" Mavis asked.
"Just to reminisce." Jayson said, setting down his half-eaten ice cream sundae on the bench in between himself and Mavis. "Mavis? You and I have been in love since we were little kids. Our parents knew, your parents knew, and even Frankie knew."
Mavis gently sets down her half-eaten ice cream sundae on the bench beside Jayson's.
"Jay? Why did you really suggest ice cream sundaes and took us to the park?" Mavis asked him.
Jayson nervously chuckles to himself and takes out the green engagement ring from his jacket pocket, which surprises Mavis.
"Jayson?" Mavis asked.
Jayson gently gets down one knee on the ground. "Before I ask you, I just wanted to let you know that I'm not doing this out of fear of my nightmare, I'm doing this because I love you very much. You've been supporting me ever since I became Super Knight and you and Frankie have been there for me every step of the way."
"Understandable." Mavis said. "About the 'out of fear of your nightmare' part."
Jayson and Mavis exchange small smiles at each other.
"Mavis Leigh Haddock? Will you marry me?" Jayson asked.
Mavis smiles at him. "Yes, I'll marry you."
Jayson and Mavis exchange happy smiles at each other. He gently slides the engagement ring on her left hand ring finger.
Jayson and Mavis both gets up and hugs each other upon sharing a passionate kiss as an engaged young adult couple.
