THE NEXT MORNING AT THE SILVERTROPLIS NEWSPAPER INC. . . .

Jayson sits at his desk table, looking through his emails of photos of himself as Super Knight.

Jayson's phone buzzes his desk. He picks up and looks at it.

Mavis

          Jayson answers his phone. "Hey, Mavis. What's up?"

      "I have a plan for Pepper Bloom. You can use your super-ability of memory erasure to erase your super hero identity from her so, she won't hold it over your head." Mavis said to him.

       "What's your plan because Pepper is a sociopath, but she's smart." Jayson said.

         "I can mace her, causing her a distraction and you can use your super-ability memory erasure." Mavis suggested.

      "Good idea and maybe, you can ask about her parents." Jayson suggested.

      "Okay." Mavis said. "Where can we meet?"

         "We can meet her at the Bloom Industries where Pepper's parents work. Pepper's parents had her committed into a psychiatric ward." Jayson said.

AT BLOOM INDUSTRIES . . .

After receiving a phone call from Mavis, Pepper Bloom walks inside the empty conference room where Mavis is and the blinds are closed.

     "What's with the phone call, Mavis? You could've text messaged." Pepper said with a straight face.

     "Stay away from Jayson." Mavis tells her.

     "Oh, please? You're not still ticked off about the kiss, are you?" Pepper asked with a sly grin. "Because Jayson is really a good kisser."

     "You're fucking psychotic." Mavis said.

      Pepper walks up to Mavis. "How dumb do you think I am? This must be a trap, am I right?"

Mavis then, pepper mace Pepper in her face, causing her to cover her face. Mavis punches Pepper in her face, knocking her out onto the floor.

AT THE BOXING RING CENTER . . .

An unconscious Pepper Bloom lays in the middle of the ring. She stirs awake and looks around at the boxing ring.

She looks at Jayson and Mavis and slowly gets up to her feet.

       "What the hell did you guys do to me?" Pepper asked.

       "Let's just say we took something from you. And you don't have anything on me anymore, Pepper." Jayson tells her.

Jayson, Mavis and Pepper exchange tense looks at each other.

       "See you around." Mavis said.

Jayson and Mavis walks out of the boxing ring and walks away.

LATER THAT DAY AT THE SAPPHIRE CAFÉ . . .

Jayson, Mavis and Frankie are sitting at a table eating their usual sausage cheese and pepperoni pizza with black olives and their drinks of root beer floats.

       "So, you erased your super hero identity from Pepper's mind?" Frankie asked.

         "I did." Jayson said. "Mavis maced her and punched her in her face."

         Frankie smiles at Mavis. "Badass, Mavis."

       Mavis small smiles at Frankie. "Yeah, I am."

        "So, now, Pepper's leverage against you is gone." Frankie said.

          "Yeah, it's gone." Jayson said.

And then, the military base shows up on the TV with a headlines, GENERAL JAKE REYNOLDS GIVES A TOUR AT MILITARY BASE.

       "Jay? Your Dad is on TV, dude." Frankie said, looking at the TV.

         Jayson and Mavis turns sideways in their chairs and looks up at the TV.

       And then, Jayson notices a crane in the background. "Oh, shit. The cane looks like it's gonna fall."

        "Go, Jay." Mavis said.

        Jayson gets up and walks away, walking out of the back of the café and into the alleyway where he morphs into his Super Knight costume and takes off flying towards the military base.

THE MILITARY BASE . . .

Jake Reynolds is giving a tour to the TV news reporter, Inez Vasquez and her news cameraman.

          "As you can observe the military men and women had longed served our small town. And being a military man myself, I am very proud of my soldiers." General Jake Reynolds said.

Suddenly, the crane malfunctions and hurls itself down.

        "Oh my gosh." Inez said, looking up at the crane as it falls down.

General Jake Reynolds becomes frantic and falls on the ground. And just as the crane is about to smash him . . .

. . . Super Knight appears and holds up the crane with his superhuman strength.

General Jake Reynolds looks up at Super Knight and becomes shocked at seeing the superhero with his own eyes.

           "Goodness gracious." General Jake Reynolds said with a shocked expression on his face.

The military men and women runs up to their general and helps him back up to his feet and pulls him out of the way.

Super Knight gently lands on the ground and gently sets down the crane on the ground next to him.

General Jake Reynolds and Super Knight exchange looks at each other while the military men and women applauds and cheers for Super Knight.

          "Are you alright, General?" Super Knight asked in his deep voice modulator.

         "I am. Thank you." General Jake Reynolds thanked him with a small smile.

         "You are welcome." Super Knight said and leaps off in the air and flies away.

LATER THAT LATE AFTERNOON AT THE REYNOLDS HOUSE . . .

Susan Reynolds, Jake Reynolds and Jayson Reynolds are sitting at the kitchen table eating cheeseburgers with fries and bottles of Ale.

Inez Vasquez is on the news channel on the TV, with the headlines, SUPER KNIGHT SAVES GENERAL JAKE REYNOLDS AT MILITARY BASE.

Inez Vasquez (News Channel TV) Good afternoon, I am Inez Vasquez, reporting your afternoon news. Super Knight rescues General Reynolds from a possible danger, a falling crane, that could've smashed General Reynolds, however, our small town super hero, Super Knight, was there in a nick of time to prevent such danger . . ."

        "Gosh, to see Super Knight for myself. He saved my life." Jake Reynolds said. "Everyone loves him."

        "Yeah, they do." Sheriff Susan said.

Sheriff Susan and Jake exchange small smiles at each other.

          "Mom and I are glad that you're okay, Dad." Jayson said.

      "Yeah, me to." Jake Reynolds said. "Super Knight. He's an amazing superhero."

         "Yeah, he is." Sheriff Susan said with a small smile.

And Sheriff Susan, Jake and Jayson Reynolds continues eating their burgers and fries.
