AT JAYSON'S AND MAVIS'S MOBILE HOUSE . . .

The next day, in the sunny bedroom of Jayson's and Mavis's room, Jayson lays in bed, underneath the fluffy bedcover.

Jayson small smiles to himself, but he was still a bit worried that the kiss he shared with Pepper was bothering her.

THE SAPPHIRE CAFÉ

Jayson is sitting at the counter with his sausage, egg and cheese croissant sandwich.

His grandmother, Melissa Reyes, slowly walks up to him from behind the counter.

            "How's everything going with you, Jayson?" Melissa asked her grandson.

            "I'm fine, Grandma." Jayson reassured his grandmother with a small smile. "How's everything with you?"

         "Everything's fine as usual." Melissa said to him. "How are you and Mavis? I assume that she's not happy with the kiss with the young lady, Pepper Bloom."

            "Mavis and I both aren't okay with the kiss with Pepper, but we'll talk about it." Jayson said.

            "Okay, then. Good luck." Melissa said.

           "Thanks, Grandma." Jayson thanked his grandmother. "Love you."

            "Love you too, Jay." Melissa said to her grandson and walks away.

SILVERTROPLIS NEWSPAPER INC

Later that day, Jayson heads over to his desk and gasps at the newspaper article which has him as Super Knight kissing Pepper Bloom with the headlines, WHAT A SUPER KNIGHT KISS!

Jayson becomes frustrated and walks over to his desk and sits down.

          "Oh my gosh, I can't believe you kissed Super Knight." A woman said to Pepper. "You're so lucky."

           "Yeah, I am." Pepper said with a small smile and a chuckle.

Jayson rolls his eyes annoyed. He takes his phone and dials Mavis's phone number.

         Mavis answered her phone.
         "Hey, Jay."

        "Hey, Mavis. You left sort of early. I got your chalk note." Jayson said. "Are you okay?"

           "Yeah, Jay, I'm fine." Mavis said.

       "Why don't I believe you, Mav?" Jayson asked him.

            "Jayson? I don't want to talk about it and people here at Haddock Tech are talking about you kissing sociopath Pepper. So, please, I don't want to talk about it." Mavis said, and hangs up her phone.

            "Mavis?" Jayson said, and looks at his phone. "Shit."

HADDOCK TECH CENTER

On the first floor, Mavis is working at her computer desk.

Jayson slowly walks inside. He and Mavis exchange looks at each other.

   Jayson walks over to her desk. "Mavis?  Can we talk, please?"

      "Sure." Mavis said.

shortly after . . .

In the lounge room, Jayson and Mavis are talking about the kiss he shared with Pepper Bloom.

         "I had a feeling that you would come here." Mavis said with her arms.

       "I had to because I don't want the kiss to bother you or me." Jayson said.

          "Jayson? I don't want to talk about it." Mavis said.

          "But I do." Jayson said, and slowly walks up to her. "We're getting married, Mavis. I don't want me kissing Pepper to bother us."

         "That's not what bothers me." Mavis said.

        And Jayson becomes a bit confused. "What are you talking about?"

      "When Pepper kissed you as Super Knight, she looked at me with a sly smirk. She had that 'I kissed your boy beau' look on her face. Mavis told him and unfolds her arms.

         "So, when Pepper kissed me, she did it to hurt you because she knows that you're connected to me." Jayson said.

         "Jayson? Pepper is dangerous. She's sadistic." Mavis said. "What does she want?"

         "She wants me to fight her. To go all out on her." Jayson said. "She's a fucking psychopath."

          "Maybe, we should postpone our wedding." Mavis said.

        "We're not postponing our wedding, Mavis. And I'm not gonna let Pepper ruin things." Jayson said.

         "What are you gonna do, Jay?" Mavis asked, worriedly. "Pepper is already blackmailing you by exposing your superhero identity to the town?"

       "I don't know what to do as of right now. But I'll figure something out. There has to be a way to stop Pepper." Jayson said.

Jayson and Mavis exchange looks at each other.

          "I'm glad we talked." Jayson said. "I thought we were gonna argue about it."

      Mavis chuckled with a small smile. "You're such a silly asshole."

        Jayson and Mavis exchange playful chuckles with each other and they share a kiss.

AT THE SILVERTROPLIS POLICE PRECINCT . . .

Later that afternoon, Sheriff Susan Reynolds is in her office, looking at her old cases that she closed.

Deputy Mackenzie Campbell, nicknamed "Tammy", slowly walks inside.

             "Hi, Susan." Tammy said, sitting down in a sofa chair.

         "Hey, Tammy." Sheriff Susan greeted her back with a small smile. "Is there something you want to talk about?"

         "Hmm? Nope, I just wanted to ask you if you wanted a bottle of whiskey?" Deputy Tammy asked.

         "Sure, I don't drink much, but yeah." Sheriff Susan replied.

Meanwhile . . .

The men and women officers are at their desks when suddenly, Flamestar bursts through the ceiling window and hurls fire balls at everything and everyone.

Sheriff Susan and Deputy Tammy both walks out of Susan's office and looks up at Flamestar.

Flamestar looks at Sheriff Susan and glides over to her and gently lands on the floor.

          "Hello, Sheriff." Flamestar said in her female voice modulator as she saunters up to her.

        "What do you want, Flamestar?" Sheriff Susan asked as she and Deputy Tammy slowly backwards away.

          "I've been thinking about trying to get Super Knight's attention, but I haven't been getting it, so, seems like the only way to get his attention is to start picking off his loved ones." said Flamestar with a sadistic grin.

Deputy Tammy takes out her gun, but Flamestar tosses her aside.

Sheriff Susan and Flamestar exchange looks at each other and Flamestar grins.

Flamestar grabs Sheriff Susan by her throat and lifts her off the floor, levitating in the air. She creates a fire ball in her hand, preparing to kill her.

        "Susan?!" Deputy Tammy exclaimed, worried.

Suddenly, Super Knight flies through the window and blasts Flamestar with blue a electric blasts.

Sheriff Susan falls through the air just as Super Knight flies to her and catches her, landing her back on the floor.

         "Are you alright?" Super Knight asked in his deep voice modulator.

          "I'm alright." Sheriff Susan reassured him.

Super Knight and Flamestar exchange tense looks at each other. The other officers gets out of the way.

The ceiling sprinklers turns on, getting everything wet and dampened.

       "You wanted me, here I am." Super Knight told Flamestar.

        Flamestar smiles, maliciously, at him. "Finally."

Super Knight and Flamestar exchange tense looks at each other as they prepare for a fight.
