Later that evening at the SILVERTROPLIS GENERAL HOSPITAL . . .

In the hallway, the paramedics rolls in an unconscious bruised injured Super Knight on a gurney and into the ER room.

The doctors works on Super Knight with the heart monitor monitoring his vitals.

Sheriff Susan Reynolds along Deputy Tammy Campbell and General Jake Reynolds, and Mayor Michelle Novak, are outside of the ER room, worried.

The doctors work effortlessly, trying to revive Super Knight, but to no avail due to his severe injuries he received from his intense fight with the Palladium Stone Monster.

The male and female doctors exchange worried looks at each other as Super Knight's heart rate briefly flatlines.

Now, outside of the Silvertroplis General Hospital, a crowd of townspeople are waiting for the update, worried, on Super Knight's condition.

Sheriff Susan Reynolds, Deputy Tammy Campbell, General Jake Reynolds and Mayor Michelle Novak slowly walks out of the hospital automatic double doors.

Mayor Michelle Novak looks at the Silvertroplis Newspaper journalists and news channel reporter Inez Vasquez and her camera man.

           "Ladies and gentlemen, I'm afraid I have no good news to tell you." said Mayor Michelle Novak. "Super Knight's injuries are severe from his fight with the monster. He is currently in a coma."

The crowd exchange glum murmurs among themselves.

         "I know this is heartbreaking to us, but we must continue to move forward. This is a sad day for us all. What we can do now is hope that Super Knight will return to us. Thank you." Mayor Michelle Novak said.

Everyone slowly walks away. And from the café, Pepper Bloom is there.

REYNOLDS HOUSE

That night, General Jake Reynolds and Sheriff Susan Reynolds slowly walks inside their house. He gently closes the door.

Sheriff Susan Reynolds just stands there, overwhelmed with emotion about her son in a coma.

        "Susan?" Jake said to his wife.

Susan Reynolds looks at her husband on the verge of an emotional breakdown.

Jake walks up to her and they embrace in a hug. And she starts crying and he comforts her.

         "It's alright, I got you, Honey." Jake said, with a tear rolls down his cheek as he tries to be strong for his wife.

THE NEXT DAY AT THE HADDOCK TECH CENTER . . .

Everyone is looking at the TV, which has Inez Vasquez reporting. But she is gloomy mood.

Inez Vasquez (News Channel) Good morning, Silvertroplis. Yesterday evening, we saw our beloved superhero, Super Knight, face off against a hulking stone monstrous creature that resulted in Super Knight's current condition. I know we all loved him, and so, we must continue forward. And we may have hope that Super Knight will return to us.

Mr. Curtis Haddock slowly walks inside the main room.

         "Alright, everyone. I know we all don't want to work right now due to our sadness for our superhero, but we must continue to move forward. So, at least, try to get something done for today." said Mr. Curtis Haddock.

At her desk, Mavis Haddock looks at a picture frame of Jayson and herself as little kids and as their young adult selves smiling.

Melody Haddock slowly walks up to her daughter, Mavis, and sits down next to her.

           "Mavis? I would ask if you were okay, but obviously, you're not." Melody Haddock said.

         Mavis looks at her mother with tears in her eyes. "Jayson and I were gonna get married. A small wedding."

             "And you still will, sweetheart." Melody reassured her daughter. "I know how much you love Jayson. Maybe, you should go home."

            "It's okay, I'm okay." Mavis said, sniffling, gently wiping away her tears from under her eyes. "Dad said to continue on, so, that's what I'm gonna do."

         "Alright." Melody said. "Love you, Mavis."

       "Love you too, Mom." Mavis said.

Melody pecks a kiss on her daughter's cheek and gets up, walking away.

Mavis takes a deep breath and exhales. She composures herself and focuses on her work.

AT THE SILVERTROPLIS GENERAL HOSPITAL . . .

Later that day, Mavis slowly walks inside Super Knight's patient room to see her comatose fiancé, Jayson, laying in bed, wearing a hospital gown, still wearing his blue superhero mask, along with a nasal tube.

Mavis slowly walks up to Jayson and gently holds his hand and gently kneels down at his bedside.

       "Jayson?" Mavis said. "I don't know if you can hear me, but I need you. Frankie and I needs you. Your parents and grandma needs you. Heck, Silvertroplis needs you. Without you, I'm worried that this small town crime will wreck havoc. I love you, Jayson."

Mavis pecks a kiss on his cheek and gently gets up and gently pulls away her hand from his hand.

Walking out of Super Knight's patient, Mavis walks away.

AT THE SILVERTROPLIS NEWSPAPER INC. . . .

That afternoon, Frankie and Mavis slowly walks inside the main room and looks around at the newspaper article writers.

Frankie looks at the newspaper headline, "SUPER KNIGHT DEFEATED?! COMATOSE?!"

        "Miss. Haddock? Mr. Novak?" Mr. Cheetam said, slowly walks up to the young adults. "Have you two youngsters seen Mr. Reynolds?"

          "He's with his grandma. She took him on a cruise trip, so, they can spend some time together." Frankie lied.

       "Jayson sent us to tell you to explain his absence." Mavis also lied.

          "Oh, okay. Jayson is pretty damn lucky to have some best friends like you guys." Mr. Cheetam said.

         "Yeah, he is." Mavis said and looks at Jayson's empty desk and looks at Mr. Cheetam.

         "By the way, Jayson told us he's gonna give you some more of his photos when he gets back from his cruise trip." Frankie said.

       "Alright then." Mr. Cheetam said and walks away.

Frankie and Mavis exchange looks at each other.

          "By the way, Mr. Cheetam, where did Pepper Bloom go? I thought she worked here?" Mavis asked.

          "About Miss. Bloom. She quit and turned in her resignation. Seemed like she wasn't much of a newspaper person." Mr. Cheetam said and walks away.

Frankie and Mavis exchange worried looks at each other and they walks away.

THAT EVENING AT THE SILVERTROPLIS GENERAL HOSPITAL . . .

In Super Knight's patient room, Jayson's bruised injured unconscious body lays in bed.

Pepper Bloom sits on the windowsill. She gets up and slowly walks up to him.

          "I would love to kill you. But I won't." Pepper Bloom said with a malicious expression on her face. "So, I hope you recover soon, Super Knight, but until then, I have a small town to destroy."

Pepper Bloom walks away, sliding up the window and flies out of it and closes the door, morphing into her Flamestar and flies away.
