Later that same evening at the SILVERTROPLIS NEWSPAPER INC. . . .

Sheriff Susan Reynolds arrived at the burning building. Fire trucks had arrived and are putting out the fires.

           "Sheriff Susan?" A woman police officer said, walking up to her. "Howard Cheetam is on the second floor."

        "Not to worry, Super Knight will rescue him." Sheriff Susan said.

Super Knight flies through the window and looks around at the burning second floor.

        "Is anyone here?!" Super Knight asked in his voice modulator.

         "Super Knight?! Over here?!" Howard Cheetam said.

Super Knight flies over to Howard Cheetam, who's stuck under a pile of rubble and covered in soot.

       "Just hold on, I'll get you out of here." Super Knight reassured him.

    Super Knight lifts up the rubble with his superhuman strength and throws it away.

Super Knight then, grabs Howard Cheetam and flies out of the window and takes him to the ambulance.

         "Take him to the general hospital and get him checked out." Super Knight told the paramedics.

And Super Knight leaves Howard Cheetam with the paramedics and flies back up and inside the second floor of the building.

Super Knight glides through the room, checking for anyone else.

        "Hello? Is there anyone else here?" Super Knight asked.

          "I knew you would come here." Flamestar said in her female voice modulator.

Super Knight looks at Flamestar. And the two exchange tense looks at each other.

          "Hello, Super Knight. Or I should say, "Jayson?" Flamestar said with a grin.

          "Pepper?" Super Knight said. "You started this fire to lure me out?"

         "Of course I did, you idiot." Flamestar told him and hurls a fireball at him.

Super Knight flies backwards, hitting against a wall and falls on the floor.

        "And now, we can have a fight." Flamestar told him with a grin.

Flamestar leaps atop of Super Knight, showing him a pair of palladium brass knuckles.

        "How do you like my palladium brass knuckles?" Flamestar said and punches Super Knight in his face, leaving bruises on his face. "Fight me?!"

Super Knight shoves Flamestar off of him. She falls onto the floor and he slowly gets back up to his feet.

Flamestar gets back up to her feet and the two exchange another tense looks at each other.

            "Our fight isn't over." Flamestar told him and flies away.

Super Knight flies out of the window just as the fire fighters puts out the rest of the flames.

The next afternoon at JAYSON'S MOBILE HOUSE . . .

Jayson is sitting on the couch with a gel ice pack to his bruises on his face.

Frankie and Mavis are sitting at Jayson's computer desk, doing some research on Pepper Bloom.

        "What do we know about Pepper Bloom?" Jayson asked.

       "Pepper Bloom was committed to a mental institution for having sociopathic behavior." Frankie said.

      "And she also killed Louie Carrington, and an accident given her pyrokinetic abilities." Mavis said.

        "So, basically, Pepper is a sociopathic supervillainess." Frankie said.

       "She lured me out by flaming up Silvertroplis Newspaper Inc so, I could fight her." Jayson said. "She also has palladium. Her butterfly necklace and her palladium brass knuckles.

         "So, what's Pepper's weakness? If she has one?" Frankie asked.

          "I don't think she has one." Jayson said.

           "What about water?" Mavis suggested. "She has pyrokinetic abilities, so, maybe, we can slow her down."

          "It could work, but she's gonna be expecting me to use that against her." Jayson said. "My fight with her won't be the last."

Jayson, Mavis and Frankie exchange worried looks at each other.

At the GENERAL MILITARY BASE . . .

In General Jake Reynolds office, he sits behind his desk, looking over some paperwork. There are two picture frames on his desk.

A picture frame of himself, his wife, Susan Reynolds and their son, Jayson as a little kid.

And another picture frame of himself, Susan Reynolds and a young adult Jayson.

A gentle knock is on the door.

        "Come on in." General Jake Reynolds said.

The door opens and Jayson walks inside and gently closes the door behind him.

    Jayson playfully salutes his Dad with a playful small smile. "Hi, Dad."

       Jake Reynolds playfully chuckles to himself. "Hi, Jayson."

Jayson walks up to the desk and sits down in the sofa chair. "So, you're a General."

       "I am, but I'm still your father, Jay." Jake Reynolds said. "By the way, there's been talk amongst the military about Super Knight."

        "Yeah, Super Knight is a very cool guy." Jayson said, talking about himself.

         "Yeah, I know." Jake Reynolds said. "I hope I get to meet him myself."

         "I can talk to him for you." Jayson said to his Dad. "I can ask Super Knight to come here to the military base."

        "Okay, sure." Jake Reynolds said.

Jake and Jayson Reynolds exchange small smiles at each other.

Later that afternoon, General Jake Reynolds is walking on the military base grounds with his military colleagues.

          "Hello, General Jake Reynolds." Super Knight greeted him in his voice modulator, levitating in mid-air with his arms folded.

General Jake Reynolds and his military colleagues stopped walking upon seeing Super Knight.

        "Super Knight? I've heard so much about you. Even when I was away." Jake Reynolds said.

         "Who told you of me?" Super Knight asked.

          "My wife. She loves Super Knight. This whole small town does." Jake Reynolds said with a small smile. "It's an honor to finally meet you for myself."

          "And it's an honor to meet you as well, General Jake Reynolds." Super Knight said with a small smile.

         "I hope to see you around, Super Knight." Jake Reynolds said.

          "I'm always around." Super Knight said and flies away.

TOWN HALL BUILDING

Later that evening, everyone gathered for Mayor Novak.

Mayor Michelle Novak is with her husband, Hannibal Novak and son, Frankie Novak atop of the steps.

Mayor Novak has a handheld microphone in her hand.

"I wanted to take this short moment to appreciate our superhero, Super Knight. He has done some good things, saving our lives, taking out the bad guys, and helping our Sheriff Susan Reynolds." Mayor Novak said.

And then, Sheriff Susan Reynolds steps up next to Mayor Novak.

        "I have a letter from Super Knight himself." Sheriff Susan Reynolds spoke into the handheld microphone. "It says
" ' Dearest small town residents of Silvertroplis, I thank you all for believing in me and for showing me your appreciation and support. I hope that you won't get bored with me . . ."

Everyone playful chuckles among themselves.

And Sheriff Susan Reynolds continues reading Super Knight's letter. " . . . I will continue doing my job, keeping you all safe from danger and trouble. I won't make any promises because there will be some dark days upon us. But if trouble or danger arises, just know I will be there to prevent it. Sincerely, Super Knight.' "

Mayor Michelle Novak hears a whoosh. She then, looks up.

       "Everyone." Mayor Michelle Novak said.

And the crowd turns around and looks up at Super Knight, who's hovering in mid-air with his blue cape gently flows.

Amongst the crowd is sociopath Pepper Bloom with her parents. She has a small malicious grin on her face.

        "Who is Super Knight?" Deputy Mackenzie asked.

         "A superhero." Sheriff Susan Reynolds said, knowing her son.

As everyone looks up at Super Knight, he looks down at them. Jayson Reynolds has become a superhero, a protector, a crime-fighter superhero vigilante.

Jayson Reynolds is Super Knight.
