Ivy Chae was born in, and grew up in, London, England. To be completely honest, she didn't know too much about kpop and that whole industry, but she really liked dancing and singing all throughout her childhood. When Strawberry Entertainment was formed in 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟓 a bunch of Ivy's friends started talking about it ❪things like "oh my god, key opened his own agency?" and "strawberry is such a cute name for a company!"❫, which led to her getting interested.

This interest of theirs led to them actually deciding to research the company, and kpop in general. She came to realise that the company, Strawberry Entertainment, had been created by a bunch of industry giants, and that they were said to have a good way of treating their trainees. Ivy decided to spontaneously send in an audition, not thinking she was actually going to get accepted... and then she was!

Truth be told, Ivy was pretty darn shocked, but made the decision to move to Korea to pursue her life as a trainee. I mean, hey, her biggest passion in life was dancing and singing, so she wasn't really loosing out on anything here!
