ㅤ ㅤ ٬ ⟢ minduelle is an incredibly caring and affectionate person, like she's just really one of those people you know will be there for you, no matter what, and who you know you're always able to talk to. for the most part they're also very chill and easy-going but, i'm not going to lie, they're very easy to rile up and they tend to get really excited over even the smallest of things.
ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ⟢ ٬ iris also tends to get rather protective over nearly everyone she knows and she puts it on herself to keep her friends safe and okay. this slight overprotectiveness also comes with extreme reflexes and an incredibly empathic mindset.
ㅤ ㅤ ٬ ⟢ ronnie is, to put it simply, a very charismatic and social person. her caring nature, feat her sarcastic humour and her great people skills just makes it easy for people to get to know her. though one thing that can get people annoyed is how extremely stubborn they are. they will just not give up. which, sure yeah, can be a good thing but it can also be a horribly irritating thing. like, please, you've been standing at that same claw machine for nearly an hour please just leave it. please.

Minduelle was born in 𝟏𝟗𝟗𝟒 on Jeju Island to an eighteen year old girl called Kang Eunbi. Her dad abandoned her mum as soon as he found out that she was pregnant, so he wasn't in the picture, at all.

In 𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟎, when Minduelle was 𝟔, her mum gave birth to her younger brother ❪who Eunbi and Minduelle basically had named Mingyu before he even was born❫ but due to Eunbi's financial situation Mingyu's father got custody of him. Shortly after, Eunbi and Minduelle left the city and moved to Seoul.

When Minduelle was 𝟗 she went to live with her aunt, Eunmi or Clarie, in Sydney. Her mum said it was so that she'd get a chance to learn English properly, but the real reason — which Minduelle only discovered years later — was that Eunbi had decided to "sell her body" in order to get a chance to change her economic situation.

That ended up actually working out, and with money she'd earned from less than ideal "jobs" she started up a restaurant, and later also a skincare label. Whilst her mum was working on getting a stable income, Minduelle was killing it over in Australia.

She took every single chance at dancing and singing, sung and danced literally all the time, was on both dance and song competitions and she was even doing amazing socially. She was charismatic and kind which easily gained her multiple friends, and with her skills in music a lot of people around her were certain that she'd become some sort of musician.

So when Ronnie, as she'd mainly gone by in Australia ❪that, and Iris❫, made the choice to do an online audition for JYP Entertainment in January of 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟏 basically nobody was surprised. Even less people were surprised when she announced that she'd gotten in and was going to move back to her mum, who now was getting a stable income, in South Korea.

That same year, the autorites got in contact with her mum regarding getting custody of Jeong Doyeon ; her second child. Both Eunbi and Minduelle, obviously, got interested in this and, they got to know that their baby  ❪who they hadn't met since his father got custody when he was a baby❫, had been abused in oh-so many ways by his trashy father.

After this, the two got one of the best lawyers they could and made sure that their poor Mingyu ❪which they called him, and had called him throughout all the years❫ got justice. His dad ended up getting 𝟏𝟎 years in prison, and got an additional 𝟓 years added in 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏 when he was supposed to be let out.

During the whole procedure Minduelle was on and off away from her idol training, and she was constantly trying her best to be a wonderful older sister — which she succeeded in. And in November of 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟏 Minduelle  officially returned to train full-time at JYP Entertainment, and she continued to consistently train there with occasional short breaks to spend time with her younger sibling and mum.

In 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟒, Minduelle appeared on SIXTEEN and she ended up ranking #𝟏𝟏th, so she didnt debut in TWICE. She, however, got really close to some of her labelmates - like Somi, Chaeryeong, Jiwon , Jihyo and Dahyun — and also became pretty well-liked by netizens.

Later in 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟒, in October, whilst she was home during a weekend she walked in on Gyu trying to unalive himself, and she obviously ended up stopping him. Minduelle, though still terrified and worried out of her mind, ended up not going on an hiatus from her training as she really needed the distraction.

In early 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟔 Minduelle left JYP Entertainment after training there for five years and, a few months later, she auditioned for Strawberry Entertainment — and also helped Gyu audition for the label. Both of the siblings were accepted, and later that same year she debuted as the oldest member and leader of Strawberry Entertainments first girl group and second debut, 𝐍𝐎𝐕𝐀. 

ㅤ 𝐓𝐋𝐃𝐑 . . .
Kang Minduelle was born on Jeju Island to a single mother, and years later she ended up getting a younger brother who was put in the custody of his father due to their financial situation. Because of this, her mother sent her away to her aunt in Australia whilst she worked her ass off to try and get a stable income so that she'd one day be able to at least get shared custody of her second child.

In Australia, Kang Minduelle succeeded very well both musically and socially — and nobody was surprised when she got into JYP Entertainment. That same year, her mother ended up getting full custody of her second child ❪Kang Mingyu❫ due to his father being abusive. Minduelle ended up leaving JYP in 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟔 and instead joined Strawberry Entertainment with her younger brother and went on to debut later that same year.

𝟎𝟐 ៸៸ ─ Whilst living in Australia, they talked with their mum as often as they possibly could and they missed her quite a lot.

𝟎𝟑 ៸៸ ─ In 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟎 when Adventure Time came out she really wanted to changer her name to Marceline, both because she was crushing like crazy on the vampire and because it sounds more similar to her Korean name ❪Minduelle❫, but she ended up never doing it.

𝟎𝟒 ៸៸ ─ She debuted with the stage name RONNiE ❪롷니❫, but she changed it to iRiS ❪일잇❫ in the middle of 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟖.

𝟎𝟓 ៸៸ ─ Her mum was just eighteen years old when she had Minduelle and the two are, frankly, very close.
𝟎𝟔 ៸៸ ─ In 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟗 Iris adopted a cat from a shelter, he's black and white and is called Loki!

𝟎𝟕 ៸៸ ─  Minduelle was on SIXTEEN and ranked #11th. She got really close to the other participants though and is still good friends with all of them.

𝟎𝟖 ៸៸ ─ Minduelle is always preaching about stuff about getting away from unhealthy relationships, abuse and animal abuse. She tends to get a lot of flak for it whenever she mentions it, but at this point she's gotten really good at ignoring the hate.

𝟎𝟗 ៸៸ ─ Iris is good friends with Chaeryeong, Chaeyeon ❪and through them also Purple Kiss Chaein!❫, Somi, Natty, Jiwon ❪fromis_9❫ and the members of TWICE, all because of SIXTEEN. They're also good friends with the other two contestants, Kim Eunsuh and Song Minyoung, who no longer are in the kpop industry.

𝟏𝟐 ៸៸ ─ She didn't really grow up around men — all she really heard of men growing up was about them extremely trashy — and is also not attracted to them, which has led to her pretty being cautious around men she's never met before, and depending on how they acted that first time they met she either gets more chill or even more cautious.
