Season Two : Episode Eight, Buck Actually.

Here on this Friday morning no one could have expected this to happen, down on the freeway there appears to be a woman in a bathrobe holding up the traffic this morning due to her "See Me Norman" sign.

The LAFD and LAPD were of course called to handle the situation, but of course this caught the attention of Channel Eight Morning News.

As the 118 arrived Bobby ordered Buck and Eddie to assist on getting the woman down, while down below Becca, Violet, Hen, Chim along with the
rest of the crew set up the rescue cushion.

Athena holds up her microphone to speak to the woman, "Ma'am you think maybe it's time you come down?"

"Hell no I won't come down until Norman sees me!" She Yelled, "And don't you try and force me down!"

"Nobody's gonna force you to do anything we're just gonna talk, what's your name?" Athena Asked

"Lola." She Replied

"Okay, Lola..my names Athena..what's the problem?" She Asked

"The problem? The problem is after 30 years of marriage I can't get 30 seconds of attention from my husband. It's like I'm invisible but I'm-I'm not invisible..I am here damn it," She then opened up her robe flashing her naked body to everyone, "See me now Norman!" Lola Cried out

The crowd then erupted in a cheer as Lola flaunted her body. Down below the team dragged the cushion out and as they looked up and saw her their eyes widened, Bobby then approached Athena who shook her head.

"Oh for god sake." Athena Sighed

"Definitely not invisible." Bobby Chimed in

Athena looked over at her squad members, "Can someone please find me this Norman before she does something crazy..er."

"Take a look at this Norman it's something you don't pay attention to everyday!" Lola Shouted, still flashing everyone her body.

"Well that's definitely one way to get someone's attention." Violet Piped up

"Mhm the old bare naked trick." Becca Said

A few minutes later word was put out that Norman was in the area, a cop walked over to inform Athena.

"Lola, good news we found your man. He's on his way." Athena Informed

"I won't come down until he sees me!" Lola Said

"Ma'am, you're the most famous face in the city right now. There ain't exactly a way to miss you." Athena Said

"I don't care." Lola Huffed

"Okay, move Buck into position." Bobby Said, into his radio.

Buck who's now harnessed up and sitting on the Santa Monica sign, with the help of Eddie moves slowly down.

"Okay, Chim." Bobby Nodded to him

The crew moves the cushion into view which Lola sees this and shakes her head no.

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no! What are you doing?!
I-I told you! I told you!" Lola Said

"It's just there for your safety, Lola." Athena Assured

"I-I told you!" Lola Said

Buck then landed next to her but she was getting agitated and reached inside her bathrobe. Lola takes out her gun aiming it at the cushion shooting several bullets into it.

Everyone around ducks or moves out of the way, Chim ushered for Hen, Becca and Violet to move our the way so they wouldn't get hurt, Lola then aims the gun at Buck who holds his hands up as members of the LAPD aims their guns at her.

"Hold your fire! Hold your fire! Stand down. Do not shoot." Athena Ordered

"Hey, hey, hey, hey." Buck Said

"Lola, listen to me very carefully. You now have every firearm in the Greater Los Angeles area
pointed at you. If you continue to threaten that man,
they will fire. Do you understand? Do you?" Athena Said

Lola looks at a worried and frightened Buck then back down at Athena and Bobby.

"I don't want to hurt anybody. I just can't handle
being ignored anymore." Lola Said

"I know exactly what you mean." Buck Said

"Oh, come on. Yes, I'm-I'm sure you get ignored all the time." Lola Said

"You have a Norman..I had an Abby." Buck Mentioned

Down below Becca looked up at the two, though she was worried for Buck but also wondered what he was saying to her.

"He's talking to her?" Violet Said

"Yeah, that's either gonna go well or...the other thing." Becca Said, raising a brow.

"You think that you have something...something special, you know? She's the one. So you wait.
And then, at some point, it hits you: you're alone.
Sh-She's not coming back. You're just there to collect the mail, and-and it is piling up, right? And then-and then you realize..."You know what? It's over." You just need to face it and move on." Buck Said, as Lola started to cry.

"Wait is she crying?" Hen Said

"Better not be anything stupid." Chimney Wondered

"Well whatever he's saying..it's kind of working." Becca Said

An engine is heard approaching as a police man driving on his motorcycle approaches, with a man on the backseat who is Norman.

"You Norman?" Athena Said

"Yeah. I'm-I'm Norman..I don't know why this is happening. We don't even fight." Norman Said, as an officer placed a bulletproof vest on him.

"I'm pretty sure that's why this is happening." Athena Said

"Wait, seriously?" Norman Said

"All right, come with me." Athena Said

She escorted him to her car then handed him the microphone to speak with his wife.

"Uh, L-Lola. Lola, honey, it's me. I'm here. And I see you, just like the sign says." Norman Said

"Liar!" She Yelled, "You look right through me. Y-You don't even notice me. I-I'm just around to... collect the mail." Lola Said

"I don't even know what that means. I'm the one who brings in the mail." Norman Said

"Just talk to her." Athena Said

"Lola, honey. Honey, now, listen to me. I-I'm here, and I see you. And I need you to put down the gun, okay? Put the... put down the gun and let them
bring you to me. And then we can spend the
rest of our lives together, and I can show you how much I love you." Norman Said

"I don't believe you, Norman. You don't even know who I am anymore. I mean...I don't even know." Lola Said

"I'm-I'm confused. Now, is she saying I don't see her
or I don't know who she is, like I don't recognize her?" Norman Questioned

"How the hell am I supposed to know? She's your wife." Athena Said

"I've been a mother for 18 years and now that Zack's gone, I don't remember who I was before that. Back when you used to look at me. Maybe you're right.
Maybe it is over." Lola Said

She looked down then moved towards the edge to jump, but Buck pulled her back stopping her.

"Uh, n-no, no, no, no, no. Um, okay, m-maybe I
wasn't being super clear on the point I was trying to make..." Buck Said

Norman takes out his phone and puts it near the radio, as the song he chose can be heard. Lola looks over at him holding it up in the air, and a small smile appears on her face.

"Oh, my God. That song he remembered. It was our first date. We went to see S-Say Anything." Lola Said

"I see you..I see you. Lola, I see you. I see the girl
who used to sneak out to the beach bonfires and listen to The Psychedelic Furs and The Cure. Lola!
Lola, I see you! I see the girl who once drank nine shots of Jager and woke up without a hangover Lola, I see you. I see the girl I love!" Norman Said

"Yes!" The crowd cheered and applauded

The team all started applauding as well at the moment, Lola smiled at her husband and almost fell until Buck caught her.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. It's okay." Buck Said

"I think I want to get down now." Lola Said

"Okay." Buck Said

He takes the gun out her hand then Buck hands it up to Eddie up above. Several moments later after getting Lola down back on the ground, Buck approached the truck putting away his gear, as
his captain walks over nodding impressed at him.

"What'd you say to her?" Bobby Asked

"Just, you know...that everything's gonna be okay." Buck Replied

At the back of the ambulance truck Eddie and Violet were checking on Lola, just making sure everything's okay. Norman then rushed over to his wife and the two embraced, sharing a sweet kiss.

"Everything okay here?" Athena Asked, as she and several officers walks over.

"I'm sorry about all that. It's just that...he sees me.
Norman sees me." Lola Said

"Yeah, everyone sees you now, Lola. Unfortunately, they're about to see you get arrested." She takes out her handcuffs then cuffs her, "You have the right
to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law." Athena Said

Lola and Norman shared one last kiss then was dragged away towards a police car.

"I love you." Lola Said

"I love you too." Norman Replied

"You have the right to an attorney. If you do not have an attorney, one will be appointed to you." Athena Said

After the whole fiasco with Norman and Lola this morning, the entire day went smoothly. Once her shift ended Becca headed home to help the kids pack for their little trip with Justin.

"Okay this just in your dad will be arriving in three minutes, now I want everyone downstairs with their belongings..in three..two..one." Becca Said, while standing at the end of her stairs.

Footsteps are heard as Bryan, Aryana and Dylan all ran down the stairs dragging their suitcases behind them, meeting her at the end of the stairs.

"Nice." Becca Said

"I'm packed and ready to go." Dylan Said

"That's my boy," She high fived him, "Do you guys have everything you need..like clothes?" Becca Said

"Yes." They Said

"Pajamas?" Becca Asked

"Yes." They replied

"Underwear, socks and toothbrushes?" Becca Asked once more

"Yes, yes and yes." They all said in unison

"Okay then my work here is done." Becca Said, wiping her hands together.

"Wait I almost forgot." Aryana Said, then ran back upstairs.

"What did she forget she never forgets to pack anything." Becca Said

"Probably her sock monkey you know she never leaves that thing behind whenever we go on trips." Bryan Said

"Oh like how you always bring your blanket with you." Dylan Said, pulling the cloth out his suitcase.

"Okay first off that blanket has sentimental value has been with me since I was born," He snatched it back from him, "Hands off blanky." Bryan Spat

Dylan raised his hands up, "Geez sorry."

Aryana comes back downstairs with a card in her hand, "Got it, Great Grandma Nadine's 80th birthday card."

"Aw that's so sweet you made her a birthday card." Becca Said

"Mhm Dylan and I have been working on it for two weeks." Aryana Said

"We wrote down 80 things we love about her, it took us a while because there's so much." Dylan Said

"Wait where's my name?" Bryan Asked

"Sorry bro Aryana said not to write your name on the card." Dylan Said

"That's stupid I'm the one who came up with the the idea." Bryan Said

"Yeah but we're the ones who wrote it for the last week, while you only wrote one thing down." Aryana Pointed out

"Which was how she loves us unconditionally duh that's the best thing." Bryan Said, as Aryana rolled her eyes.

"Oh dios." Becca Sighed

"Whatever Bryan we're not writing your name down on our card." Aryana Remarked

"No fair come on I can't show up to great grandma's house empty handed." Bryan Said

"Should have helped then." Aryana Said

"I did help!" Bryan Retorted

As the twins continued arguing with each other, Dylan stepped aside towards his mother wanting no parts of that. Becca looked down at her phone and back the door awaiting for Justin to arrive to come get them.

"For the love of christ stop arguing you two!" Becca Shouted

"He started it." Aryana Said

"No I didn't." Bryan Said

"Look your great grandmother will love you regardless wether or not you bring a gift or not.
So I'm gonna settle this, Aryana write Bryan's name down on the card." Becca Said, sighing.

"Yes." Bryan Said

"But he didn't-" Aryana Said

"Solo escribe su nombre en la maldita tarjeta." Becca Said, (Just write his name on the damn card."

"Bien." Aryana Huffe, (Fine.)

Aryana rolled her eyes at her mother then reached inside her backpack, and pulled out a marker and quickly wrote on the paper.

"There ya happy now it says happy birthday great grandma Nadine, from Aryana and Dylan and..Bryan." She Said

"Thank you." Bryan Said

"You be quiet next time make your own gift and don't piggyback off theirs." Becca Said, pointing at him then there was a knock at the door.

"Who is it?" They all asked

"It's dad." Justin Said, from behind the door.

Becca walked over to the door opening it, "There you are what took you so long you said three minutes."

"Sorry my Uber had to take a detour around the block, there's construction happening." Justin Said

"Oh yeah right I forgot to mention that." Becca Said

"Mmm, all right I'm here now and the cars ready is everyone else ready to head back to Odessa Texas." Justin Said

"More than ready I can't wait to see all our cousins, I heard cousin Jamie's got a new pet iguana I definitely have to see this." Dylan Said

"And you will, come on guys let's go say goodbye to your mom." Justin Said

"Bye mom." They all said, then Becca hugged all three of them.

"Goodbye my three amigos," She kissed each of their foreheads, "Have a nice trip with the family." Becca Said

Bryan, Aryana and Dylan got their suitcases and wheeled them out the door as Justin was behind them.

"Have a fun weekend Becks, try not to have too much fun without us." Justin Said

"Oh please it's a Friday night which means I'm definitely staying in tonight and watching the
newest episode of Shark Tank." Becca Said, as Justin laughed.

"Have fun with that." Justin Said

"Wait before you go," She walks into the living room and picks up a bouquet of flowers, "Orchids and lily's  Nadine's favorites." Becca Said

"Aw that's so sweet Becca you didn't have to." Justin Said

"I know but since I'm not attending her 80th birthday party this weekend, I still wanted to give her something nice, Tell your grandmother I said happy birthday." Becca Said

"I will and thank you," A car horn is heard from outside coming from the Uber driver, "I'm coming!, I'll see you on Monday." Justin Said

"See ya Monday." Becca Said

Justin jogged over towards the car and got into the front seat of the vehicle, Dylan rolled down the window and waved goodbye to Becca who was standing at the door waving back.

She watched as the SUV pulled off and right as they turned the corner, Becca slammed the door shut and began dancing with a smile on her face.

"Thank you, thank you thank you they are officially out of my hair and I finally have the house to myself!" Becca Exclaimed

Throughout the afternoon Becca would clean up and blast music, she changed out of her clothes into something more comfortable, her sweatpants and her old band t-shirt of the Jonas Brothers from their burning up tour in 2008.

As the 8:00 hour approached the brunette was seen laying down in her bed, with a bag of sour cream and onion lays chips with a small pint of mint ice cream on her lap. Up above on her screen Becca was deep into the newest episode of Shark Tank, but her peace was soon interrupted by the sound of her phone ringing.

"No, no, no," She groaned out, "Why can't I watch stuff in peace, please whoever this is leave me alone.." Becca Said

She lazily crawled over to the right end table near her bed, and picked it up only to see it's Maddie and Violet face timing her in a group call.

"Oh boy," She swiped the call answering it, "Yes may I help you two." Becca Said

"Woah attitude much." Violet Said

"Hey, Becca sorry to disturb you but are you busy?" Maddie Asked

"Kind of." Becca Replied

"Uh huh based on that old Jonas Brothers shirt your wearing, looks to me your not so busy." Violet Said

"What do you guys want in watching Shark Tank." Becca Said

"Relax grandma Maddie and I just want to see if you want to come out with us tonight." Violet Said

"And go where?" Becca Asked

"To this fun bar Chimney and I hang out at sometimes. It's got great music, the food is great Ooh and they even have Karaoke." Maddie Said, smiling.

"A bar...I was really planning on staying in tonight." Becca Said

"Becca didn't the kids leave today?" Violet Questioned

"Uh yeah." Becca Said

"Then come on your kid free until Monday, so you know what this means...we can finally party crazy together again. Becca we're both 27 and these are the years we'll look back on reminiscing about, you and I haven't had a wild night out in a long time..please for me." Violet Said

"And the guys that come there are really hot, not that I'm looking or anything. But maybe you can." Maddie Said

Becca looked down at the junk food on her lap, and over at her closet which was half opened. Violet does have a good point it has been a while since she's really let loose and have fun, a smirk creeped up on her face.

"Fine, I'll be ready in 30 minutes." Becca Said

"Yes!" Maddie and Violet Said

"After I swing by and pick up Vi from her place, we'll come over to get you." Maddie Said

"And you better be ready by the time we get there." Violet Said

"I will, bye." Becca Said

"Bye." They said, then all three hung up.

Becca took a spoonful of her ice cream shoving it into her mouth, "Till we meet again."

She closed the ice cream putting it down on her end table, then got out of bed to get ready for tonight.

An hour later Maddie and Violet drove over to pick Becca up from her house. The two of them both complimented her outfit which was her favorite black leather jacket, new white cross front crop top with her black mini skirt and knee high black boots.

As the trio were on their way to the bar, a duo entered the bar instead which was Buck and Chimney. Buck looks around at the packed bar, there's people drinking and talking amongst themselves as well as a duo singing karaoke together.

"Buck over here." Chimney Said, leading him
to their table.

"The world looks so different now that I'm single again." Buck Said

"Buck, you've been single for months." Chimney Pointed out

"Yeah, only circumstantially. I know Abby's been gone for a while, but, in my head, we've been
together this whole time. But now I'm out of
her place..." Buck Trailed on

"And living on my couch." Chimney Continued

"Which I-I really appreciate." Buck Said

"Happy to help. Even though I did initially think
you were just coming over to watch the game." Chimney Said

"I'm just...I'm nervous, you know." Buck Admitted

"Are you afraid to get back on the horse?" Chimney Asked

"I don't want to revert back to being Buck 1.0. I-I know I'm single Buck again, but I want to be single Buck 2.0. Like, if I'd come in here with Abby, I would never have noticed that blonde over there,
licking the salted rim of her margarita glass while she maintains strong, intimate eye contact." Buck Said

"Okay, is that really happening?" Chimney Said

H and Buck glanced over at the blonde woman at the bar smiling and waving flirtatiously at the blonde.

"Say I go over there, right? I, uh...I talk to her, I make a joke, she smiles, we both laugh. Our-our shoulders touch, there's a moment, I lean in a little
closer, she doesn't resist. One drink, two compliments later, we end up in bed together
having totally meaningless sex." Buck Said

"Yeah, that sounds awful." Chimney Said, chuckling.

"I just...I don't want to be that guy again." Buck Stated

"So don't be." Chimney Said, as a waitress walked over to their table.

"What can I get for you?" She Asked

"Ah, just, uh, two IPAs, please." Buck Said

"And one glass of chardonnay." Chimney Added

"Gotcha." She Nodded, then walked off.

"Who's the wine for?" Buck Asked

"Maddie. She was parking outside." Chimney Said

The door opened and in came Maddie, Violet and Becca. She looked around the bar having since this is her first time being here, so far the place looks promising.

"Okay, where's Chim?" Violet Asked

"He should be around here somewhere..ooh found him." Maddie Said, waving over at him.

"Uh, you invited my sister?" Buck Said

"Yeah, but it looks like she invited some other guest as well." Chimney Said

"Hey, guys." Violet and Becca Said

"Hey." Buck Said

"Hi. Sorry I'm late. I don't know why I get on the freeway. I always regret it." Maddie Said, then tossed her bag over to where Buck's sitting.

"Because you are an eternal optimist, that's why." Chimney Said

"That's true." Maddie Nodded

"Violet, Becks I didn't know you guys were coming." Chimney Said

"Yeah I thought you were staying in tonight." Buck Said

"These two dragged me out of the comfort of my own home." Becca Said, sitting down next to him.

"More like we saved you from having another boring Friday night." Maddie Said

"Yeah who even watches Shark Tank?" Violet Wondered

"Lots of people." Becca Said, in defense.

"Hey are you hungry?" Chimney Asked

"Oh, yeah, should we get that thing we got last time?" Maddie Said

"Oh yeah." Chimney Said

"Uh, last time?" Buck Said

The waitress approached the table again, this time carrying a tray of their drinks, "Here we go."

"Ah, thank you." Maddie Said

"Will that be all?" She Asked

"No actually we'd like to order, I'd like to have one old fashioned and for my friend here she'd like a cosmopolitan-" Violet Said

"Uh No, actually I'd like a tequila sunrise instead." Becca Corrected

"Sure thing." The waitress said, "Anything else?"

"Yes and for us we'd like the Celine Deion Sanders combo platter, please." Chimney Said

"Oh. Good choice." She Said, then walked off with the tray.

"Ooh Tequila Becks I see you're really coming out to play tonight." Violet Said

Becca shrugs her shoulders, "Eh why not have some fun I mean you did drag me out, plus tequila really gets me going."

"Oh dear I think we might see an appearance from Reba." Violet Said, rubbing her forehead.

"Who's Reba?" Chimney Asked, raising a brow.

"Isn't she a country music singer?" Buck Said

"Yeah she is and an actress." Maddie Nodded

"No not that Reba, this Reba is Becca's alter ego whenever she's drunk, but there's levels of Reba. There's happy drunk Reba, sad drunk Reba,
flirty Reba." Violet Said

"Mhm Crazy drunk Reba...and my least favorite Angry Reba." Becca Said

"Yeah we haven't seen angry Reba since thanksgiving break 2015." Violet Said

"Yeah that was a long day in the ER that day..." Becca Said

"You know when I think of it for the time I've known you, I don't think I've actually ever seen you drunk Becca." Buck Said

"Yeah come to think of it me neither..." Chimney Said

"That's because I didn't drink heavily when it was just me and kids, don't want a hangover with three kids. But now that Justin has them..oh yeah I'm having fun tonight." Becca Said, slapping her hands on the table excitedly.

"Hmm this should be fun." Maddie Said, as she and Violet smirked.

"Please I'm a great time, you'll all see." Becca Said

The Waitress came back to the table with Becca and Violet's drinks and the food, she gently placed them on the table and two brunettes smiled.

"Here you guys go enjoy." She Said

"Thanks again." Becca Said

"Okay then here's to a good night of fun." Chimney Said, raising his beer.

"I'll cheers to that." Maddie Said, holding up her glass of wine.

"Cheers." Chimney Said

"Cheers." They all said, as all of them clinked their glasses together.

As the night went on more drinks started flowing, as the group all shared stories and shared a few laughs with each other eating their food. An hour later they were all still sitting at their table, until Maddie looked over her shoulder and noticed that the
couple who was singing Karaoke was done.

"Okay yes they are finally done, come on Chim." Maddie Said, getting up from her seat.

"Wait where are we going?" Chimney Asked

"To sing karaoke but this time I'm choosing the song, I'm not in the mood to sing Bruce Springsteen." Maddie Said

"Hey, there's nothing wrong with Springsteen that guys an icon." Chimney Argued

"Would you come on." Maddie Said, taking his hand pulling him away with her.

"Have fun you two." Violet Smiled

"Aren't they adorable." Becca Said

"The cutest." Violet Said, nodding in agreement.

"Guys come on that's my sister." Buck Said

"Yeah but come on Buck your sister's a beautiful woman, someone eventually will come in and sweep her off her feet." Becca Said

"And that someone might be Chim." Violet Added

"Please there's nothing going on between them, they're friends that's all." Buck Said, as Violet and Becca shared a look shaking their heads at him.

The three of them then looked ahead as the music played, Becca instantly knew what song it was which is Islands In The Stream By Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers, only because this was her mothers and grandmother's favorite song.

"Lady, when I met you there was peace unknown
I set out to get you with a fine tooth comb I was soft inside, There was somethin' going on. Tender love is blind it requires a dedication."

Violet looked across the bar at the entrance, she saw a familiar face waving at her which she smiled motioning him to come over.

"Hey." He Said

"Hi," She stood up and hugged him, "I was wondering when you were coming." Violet Said

"Sorry my shift went a little longer than expected." He Said

"It's no problem I'm glad you showed up." Violet Said, as Becca started to clear her throat.

"Mm sorry throats a little dry, so Violet are you gonna introduce us." Becca Said

"Uh huh..Xavier I'd like to introduce you to a few people, this is my best friend Becca Martinez and
my friend Evan Buckley." Violet Said

"Hi nice to meet you." Becca Said, shaking his hand.

"Hey, man." Buck Said, shaking his hand as well

"Nice to meet you both as well." Xavier Said

"And those two singing up there are my other friends Maddie Kendall and Howard Han." Violet Said

"Okay, wow this place is nice great choice Vi." Xavier Said

"It wasn't my choice it was Maddie's." Violet Said

"So Xavier you said you just got off work, what is it exactly that you do?" Buck Asked

"Oh I'm a construction worker I just helped rebuild Fox Plaza, the building was a little wrecked after the earthquake but we just finished the project so no work for me this weekend." Xavier Said

"Ah your a construction worker that explains the rough hands." Becca Said

"Excuse me?" Xavier Said

"Your hands their very rough my father always told me you can tell a man apart based on their hands. And you my friend are a hard worker." Becca Said, with a smile.

"Oh um yeah I am..thank you Becca." Xavier Said

Buck looked over at Violet who quietly mouthed "Reba" and he nodded catching on.

"So Xavier would you like a drink?" Violet Asked

"Yeah, sure." Xavier Said

"Come with me." Violet Said

Xavier walked ahead of her as she looked back at Becca who gave her a thumbs up for approval. Violet smirked then walked off with her date.

"I'll give it to Vi that guy is hot." Becca Said

"Okay, Becks hey are you okay?" Buck Asked

"Yeah I'm fine..very much okay." Becca Said

"You sure you don't need me to drive you home or anything?" Buck Asked

"Why would I want to go home my night has barely begun, I'm having a good time. Are you having a good time you've been awfully quiet all night." Becca Said

"No I haven't I'm just..scoping out the place that's all." Buck Said

"Buck if your scared to put yourself out there that's okay." Becca Said

"I'm not scared..I just don't want to fall into a pattern of my old self." Buck Said

"Then don't it's not that hard how about this, try talking to someone by having a drink with them that's a good start right?" Becca Said

"Yeah that's simple I can do that." Buck Said

"Good." Becca Said, then they both finished their drinks.

"Mm you want another drink?" Buck Asked

"No I'm good." Becca Said

"Alright I'll be back." Buck Said

Buck patted her leg then got up from his seat and walked over to the bar, as he placed his glass down the bartender handed him another drink.

"Uh, what's this?" Buck Asked

"Bourbon, neat. The lady said real heroes don't drink pale ale." He Said

He showed who the person was who bought him the drink, and his eyes landed on Taylor Kelly who's over on the other side of the bar. She winked over at him as Buck he smiled at her then looked back over at Becca.

"Uh Becks you don't mind if I leave you here for a moment right?" Buck Asked

"Where are you going?" Becca Asked

Buck moved aside and she followed his gaze which led to Taylor, a smirk appeared on the brunettes face and she nodded to him.

"No I don't mind at all, have fun." Becca Said

Buck smiled at her then walked off, Becca looked back over at Maddie and Chim who's still singing.
Now that she was alone at the table listening to the song, instead of sitting down she got up and moved towards the dance floor where there's a crowd of people dancing and joined in on the fun.

"We ride it together, uh-huh Makin' love with
each other, uh-huh Islands in the stream, that is what we are no one in-between how can we be
wrong sail away with me to another world, and we rely..."

Over at a table a guy, who's drinking a beer noticed Becca, and definitely liked what he saw with her dancing. The brunette who was swaying along to the song, noticed him looking at her. He looked away trying to play it off as if he wasn't checking her out, the brunette felt a rush of confidence and walked over to his table.

"Hi, I'm Becca." She Said, leaning her elbows on the table.

"Hi." He Replied, with a shy smile.

"Well I told you my name are you gonna tell me what's yours?" Becca Asked

"Brandon, I'm Brandon Myers." He Said

"Well it's nice to meet you Brandon, didn't anyone ever tell you it bad to stare at people?" Becca Said

"Actually yes my mother told me but, I can't help myself sometimes when I see a beautiful woman dancing all by herself." Brandon Said

Becca blushed at that compliment even though it was definitely cheesy, but she'll let it slide since he's definitely a handsome guy.

"Since I'm dancing all by myself out there, you wanna change that?" Becca Said

"Are you asking me for a dance?" Brandon Asked

"You bet your ass I am." Becca Replied, lending out her hand.

"Alright then, let's see what you got." Brandon Said, taking her hand as she led him to the dance floor.

Back at the bar Buck sat down across from Taylor, "Thanks for the drink."

"Your welcome I didn't know if you'd like bourbon-" Taylor Said

"No it's okay, it's actually not that bad." Buck Said, as the redhead smiled.

"So I see Chimney's got a girlfriend." Taylor Said, looking over at the stage.

"No. No, he does not. Uh, that-that's my sister." Buck Corrected

"Oh. Sorry. They're kind of good." Taylor Nodded

"Yeah, I know, right? It's, uh, it's weird. So, hey, what-what's a-a fancy TV reporter like you doing
in a badge and ladder joint like this?" Buck Said

"Stalking you, of course." Buck raised a brow as she laughed, "I'm kidding. The station is right around the corner, and I like to keep my ear to the ground. What about you? You come here a lot?" Taylor Said

"Um, I-I used to, um, or places like it. I-I haven't in a while." Buck Replied

"Why?" Taylor Asked

"I was in a pretty serious relationship, uh, but that's over now, I guess." Buck Said

"You're not sure?" Taylor Questioned

"I'm-I'm pretty sure. I'm actually even thinking about...dipping my toe back into the dating game." Buck Admitted

"Hm Just your toe." Taylor Smirked, as Buck chuckled.

"Um...I'm just trying to be responsible and well-behaved. You know, take it slow and-and do it right."  Buck Said

"Well then to restraint." Taylor Said, holding up her glass.

"To restraint." Buck Said, raising his glass then clinking it with hers.

The two of them took sips from their glass as Taylor's attention was now across the bar.

"Whoa who's that guy with Becca?" Taylor Asked

"What?" Buck Said

She pointed in the direction as he followed, there Buck saw Becca and the guy she met dancing together. Brandon held her hand and spun her around which made her laugh, Becca then wrapped her arms around his neck and he leaned in and kissed her.

Violet who's nearby with Xavier see's this as well, and is shocked from her best friend yet also impressed at how bold she's acting right now.
Buck felt the same feeling of shock as well, he
never pictured Becca making out with some
random guy ever.

Becca pulled away from Brandon and a small smile appeared on her face, "What are you doing after this?"

"I was um planning on heading home after this, would like to come back with me?" Brandon Asked

"Oh.." Becca Said

"But if you aren't that's completely fine, I don't want to pressure you into coming with me or anything." Brandon Said

"Caring aren't you that just makes you even more cute, you know why not..sure I'll come." Becca Said

"Great, I'll meet you at the door." Brandon Said

"Okay." Becca Said, then Brandon walked off.

"Hey, Um Taylor would you excuse me I have to check on a friend." Buck Said

"Yeah, sure go ahead." Taylor Said

Buck quickly got up from his seat meanwhile over at the table, Becca was putting on her jacket and reaching inside her purse.

"What are you doing?" Buck Asked, as he walked over to her.

"Buck hey, so yeah I'm about to leave so here's the money for my tab." She placed $30 in his hand, "Don't wanna have you guys pay for me." Becca Said

"No, Becca where are you going?" Buck Asked

"Oh I met a guy he's really cute and nice." Becca Replied

"Yeah I see that but are you sure you wanna do this, leave with a complete total stranger?" Buck Said

"Yeah I'm sure, look I know you guys think I'm really-really drunk. But I'm completely fine I know my surroundings and I'm coherent, do you want me to say the entire alphabet backwards...z-y-x-w-" Becca Said

"There's no need to do that." Buck Said

"Buck it's not like this is my first time doing this, I have a one night stand before. It's just it's been a while you know, but you can trust me." Becca Assured

"I just don't want you to rush into anything you're not ready for that's all." Buck Said

"Aw Evan," She placed her hand on his cheek, "I love that your looking out for me I really do, but I'm a big girl..I'll be fine I promise, plus Violet and I share locations with each other so she'll know where I am." Becca Said

"Alright then go have fun I guess." Buck Said

"You too," She kissed his cheek then gently patted his face, "Have fun with Taylor." Becca Said

She winked at the blonde before walking off, Becca said goodbye to Violet and Xavier. Brandon who was waiting for her at the door opens it up for her, Buck watches them leave then looks over at Taylor who smiles at him.

Buck walked back over and sits across from her,
"Sorry about that."

"No it's okay I get it you just wanted to make sure Becca was okay, that's really sweet of you actually." Taylor Said

"Thanks, now where were we." Buck Said

Once Becca and Brandon arrived at his house, let's just say they did a little more than talking. From the hours of 2 am to 3 am Becca had a night she definitely won't forget.

As the sun began to rise Becca remained asleep, Brandon however had already gotten up at this point and was in the bathroom. She heard the sound of running water which awoken her, Becca sat up in bed rubbing her eyes.

She yawned and stretched out her arms, then looked over at the other side of the bed which was empty. Becca pulled the covers off her body and stood up, as she got out of bed there was her blue underwear on the floor.

"Okay there's that now where's my bra?" Becca Said, while putting her underwear.

Becca looked around the room and couldn't see it anywhere, she bent down and searched underneath the bed but no sight of it. The bathroom door opened and out came Brandon with a towel draped around his waist.

"Morning Becca." Brandon Said, she stood up and faced him.

"Oh hey, good morning Brad-" Becca Said

"Brandon." He Corrected

"Brandon, Brandon right I remembered that's your name." Becca Said

"Sure you did." Brandon Laughed a bit

"Sorry it's just usually after a night of drinking my mind gets a little fuzzy." Becca Said

"No sweat it's okay, my mind gets like that sometimes." Brandon Said

"So can I ask you something right before we had sex last night, do you by chance know where my bra is?" Becca Said

"Your bra?" Brandon Said

"Yeah it's the same color as the underwear I'm wearing." Becca Said

"Uh..hold on a sec." Brandon Said

He looked around the room then at the bed, Brandon pulled back some of the covers and there
it was.

"Here you go one matching blue laced bra for you." Brandon Said, as Becca chuckled.

"Thanks, I would have hate to lose this it's my favorite bra. One of the few that actually matches some of my underwear." Becca Said, while putting on her bra.

"It's okay I knew a few girls who's bras don't match their underwear." Brandon Said

"See you men are lucky all you guys have to do is just put on your boxers or briefs, and call it a day." Becca Said

"That's not true there was a time my socks used to match my underwear." Brandon Said

Becca squinted her eyes at him, "Is that true?"

"No, I'm kidding." Brandon Said

"Funny and cute I see." She giggled then leaned in and kissed him, "Hey you mind if I use your bathroom?" Becca Said

"Sure go ahead." Brandon Said

Becca walked towards the bathroom shutting the door behind him. Brandon then picked out his clothes for the day changing into them, he heard the sound of a car. Then looked out his bedroom window and saw a woman getting out of the car and his eyes widen.

"No, no, no, no, no!" Brandon Said, in a whisper.

He ran out of the room then jogged down the stairs, as the house door opened and the woman entered his house.

"Brandon." She Said

"Adriana sweetie hey, what are you doing home so early?" Brandon Asked, franticly.

"My conference got canceled so I decided to head home early," She set her suitcase and purse down,
"Which means I have a free weekend and we can have some fun." Adriana Said, wrapping her arms around his neck giving him a sweet kiss.

"Mmm that sounds great." Brandon Said

"Wait why is your hair wet?" Adriana Asked

"I-I just got out of the shower yeah I just came in from a jog. I smelled pretty bad so.." Brandon Said

"Oh okay, well I'm starving do you go grocery shopping?" Adriana Asked

"Yeah the fridge is packed." Brandon Said

"Great because I've been craving pancakes and eggs on my ride home. I'll make us some and we'll talk okay." Adriana Said

"Yeah...okay." Brandon Said

Adriana kissed him one more time then headed towards the kitchen, Brandon quickly ran back upstairs to his bedroom as Becca was coming out
the bathroom.

"Hey Brandon you mind giving me a ride hom-" Becca Said, then he covered her mouth with his hand.

"Shhh don't say anything." Brandon Said

"What are you doing?" Becca Muffled through his hand.

"Hey, babe do you want strawberries or bananas on your pancakes?" Adriana Asked, from downstairs.

Becca's eyes widen as she realized what was happening, Brandon had a look of guilt on his face as he just been caught.

"Strawberries." Brandon Replied

"Okay." Adriana Said

Brandon took his hand off Becca's mouth and she shoved him off her. He saw that angry look in her eyes that he hoped Adriana wouldn't give him.

"Are you kidding me?!" Becca Said

"Shhh Becca please keep your voice down." Brandon Said

"Who is that? Is that your girlfriend?" Becca Asked

Brandon sighed, "She's my wife."

Becca let out a scoff, "Your wife? Oh you've got to be fucking kidding me, your married!"

"I know look I can explain-" Brandon Said

"Explain what that you are a complete asshole Brandon and that your wife deserves better than you, ugh I can't believe I slept with you.." Becca Said, shaking her head.

"Becca I'm sorry it's just..things haven't been okay in my marriage. Adriana and I...we're just not the same as we used to be.." Brandon Admitted

"Well if you feel like that maybe you should think of getting couples counseling, not cheat on your wife." Becca Said

"I've tried suggesting that but she won't listen, she thinks there's nothing wrong with us." Brandon

"You know what look I'm not in the mood to hear your sob story, I I'm out of here." Becca Said, grabbing all of her clothes.

"Becca wait-" Brandon Said

"Babe." Adriana Said

"Oh god she's coming." Brandon Said

"What?" Becca Said

"Uh-Uh Becca hide in the bathroom." Brandon Said

"No I'm not hiding-" Becca Argued

"Just listen to me I swear you'll never see me again, but this one time just go in the bathroom." Brandon Said

"Ooh, imbécil infiel sin espinas" Becca Gritted through her teeth, (Ooh you spineless cheating asshole)

Brandon opened the bathroom door shoving Becca into the room closing the door behind him. Adriana walks into the bedroom and looks at him.

"Hey." Brandon Said

"Who we're you talking to?" Adriana Asked

"Huh I wasn't talking to anyone." Brandon Said

"Hun I heard a voice.." Adriana Said

"Alright..you caught me I was on the phone with a jeweler, they called me to see if I'm stilling going through with the earrings I planned on buying you." Brandon Said, as a smile appeared on the blonde's face.

"Aw Brandon you're buying me earrings that's so sweet of you." Adriana Said

"Surprise." Brandon Said

"Don't I have the sweetest husband ever," She hugged him, "I love you so much." Adriana Said

"Yeah, I love you too hun." Brandon Said

The bathroom door quietly opened and Becca who's half dressed, she sees the married couple and shakes her head angrily. Brandon motions for her to go, she quietly leaves the bathroom.

"Ooh the pancakes they might be burning." Adriana Said

"No wait-" He pulls her close to him again, "Don't go I haven't seen you in almost two days, I want to hug you a little longer." Brandon Said

"Okay. Your being very attentive hmm I like it." Adriana Said

She pulls her husband in and kisses him, while Becca is inches away from the bedroom door. As she goes to leave her jacket gets caught on a lamp which is on the dresser, Becca yanks it but this makes the lamp fall down on the floor.

"What was that-" She turns and sees Becca leaving the room, "Wait..no you didn't?" Adriana Said

"Babe please let me explain-" Brandon Said, she then pushed him off her.

"Ughh I had a feeling you would do this to me, I can't believe you right now Brandon." Adriana Said, then left the room.

"Adriana wait!" Brandon Said, while running after her.

Meanwhile Becca is walking down the stairs as fast as she can, while Adriana is right behind her.

"How dare you come in our house and sleep with my husband!" Adriana Yelled

"Don't blame me hun I didn't know he was married clearly he's a liar." Becca Said, turning to face her.

"That's right she didn't know Adriana." Brandon Said

"You little bitch." Adriana Said, she went to slap Becca but Brandon stopped her.

"Adriana stop it she did nothing wrong." Brandon Said

"Why are you trying to hit me, he's the one who cheated on you." Becca Said

"Typical of course you'd defend your little whore." Adriana Said

"Okay first off I'm not a whore." Becca Said, in defense.

"Could have fooled me by the way your dressed." Adriana Said

"You know what screw this I'm out of here." Becca Said

"Yeah get out of my house." Adriana Said

"Don't worry hun I'm leaving and you'll never see
me again." Becca Said

"Good." She looked to Brandon then slapped him, "I can't even stand to look at you right now." Adriana Said

Becca opened the front door and slammed it behind her, as she was walking down the walkway the sprinkler system turned on. Before she knew it she was getting sprayed with water from every witch way.

"Oh you have got to be fucking kidding me!" Becca Sighed

The brunette ran away to get away from the water, as she was now a few blocks down from the cheater's house. She looked down at her now damp clothes, then reached inside her purse taking out her phone to dial a number.

"Hey, can you come get me it's important..thanks." Becca Said

A couple minutes later Becca who was sitting at a bus stop, looked down the street as she recognized the vehicle which was now approaching her. The window rolled down as Violet in the drivers seat.

"Looks like you had a rough night." Violet Said

"Oh you have no idea." Becca Replied, approaching the door.

Violet unlocked the door so she can get it, Becca got in on the passenger side and she could feel Violet's eyes on her.

"Go on...ask the question." Becca Said

"Okay, why are you damp?" Violet Asked, trying not laugh.

"I got sprayed by some sprinklers...as I was trying to leave Brandon's house." Becca Said

"Why were you in a rush to leave...did he do something to you or worse was he a psycho?" Violet Asked, concerned.

"Nope, he was married and his wife saw me sneaking out." Becca Explained

"Oh...he was married...yeah I didn't see that coming." Violet Said

"Me neither." Becca Sighed

"I guess Reba failed you again huh?" Violet Said

"Yup." Becca Huffed

"Damn, I'm sorry Becks." Violet Said

"It's okay..just please take me home." Becca Said

"Sure." Violet Said, as she patted her shoulder then started the car again, then they drove off.

When Violet dropped Becca off at home she decided to just stay in and relax, to try and get her mind off things. As she spent her Saturday to herself, it was time to head to work for Sunday shift.

Becca and the team had to deal with a tough call, which included a couple actually a newly wedded couple who's cars was crashed into a tree. But
luckily they managed to get the couple out safely, then escorted them to the nearest hospital.

Later that Sunday night Chimney invited Maddie, Buck, Becca and Violet over to his apartment for dinner. While they were waiting for dinner, Buck told them about his evening with Taylor Kelly.

"Wait...a news van? Don't other people use that?" Becca Said

"Yeah what if you get caught? She could get fired." Maddie Said

There was a knock at the door and she answered it, it was the delivery man with their food.

"Thank you." Maddie Said, she paid the man then took the food.

"Your brother sure did Oh, he didn't tell you about the time he stole a fire truck from work so he could have sex in it?" Chimney Said

"Ugh." Maddie Said

"Thank you for that." Buck Said

"Anytime, roomie." Chimney Said

"Huh so you've had sex in public bathroom, a van and a fire truck..wow Buck you really are an adventurous person." Violet Said

"Damn it. They didn't put it in here again." Maddie Said

"Oh, uh..." He placed a bowl on the counter, "Ta-da." Chimney Said

"You made me hot mustard." Maddie Said, smiling.

"I just can't anymore, with the whole sad face every time they forget it, so..." Chimney Said

"I know, thank you." Maddie Said

"Anyway, uh, why so much food?" Buck Questioned

"Uh, it's Buffsunday's." Maddie Said

"Buffet Sundays It's the one day we indulge your sister's complete inability to choose what she's in the mood for." Chimney Explained

"Yeah, so we order everything." Maddie Chimed in

"And, because of your sister's hatred for leftovers, I don't have to buy groceries. It's a win-win situation." Chimney Added

"Uh, let's go back to you stealing a hook and ladder for a hookup." Maddie Said, as they all sat down in the living room.

"It's your fault. You know, you always told me to go after what I wanted. Be confident. Girls aren't scary." Buck Recalled

"Um, you were 11. Don't you have impulse control?" Maddie Said

"And not sure that's the problem." Violet Said

"All I'm saying is she's beautiful, she's cool. And then she left me standing in a parking lot." Buck Said

"Oh god please don't tell me she left you standing there with your pants down?" Becca Said, as she and Violet laughed.

"Can you imagine our little Buck standing there pants down and blue balled." Violet Said

"Hey." Buck Said, pointing to them as they laughed.

"Yeah, I'm feeling this is a little more karmic. The Chickens coming home to roost," He laughed,
"You've been Bucked, Buck 2.0 has found
himself a Buckette 1.0." Chimney Said

"Chim your so right dude, you're dating yourself." Violet Said

"We're not dating, okay? But you two are." Buck looked at Maddie and Chimney, "You guys are...
dating each other."

Maddie and Chimney shared confused looks then bursted into laughter.

"That's crazy. We're..." Chimney Said

"Friends who hang out." Maddie Continued

"Yeah. Just hanging out." Chimney Said

"No. Y-You're always talking or texting each other.
You sing karaoke together. You do Buffsundays, you
finish each other's sentences. Guys, come on, you're a couple. Wh-When did..." Buck Said

"I Think your looking a little to deep into this." Maddie Said

"Yeah." Chimney Said

Buck's phone starts ringing as an unknown caller appears on his screen.

"I'll be back," He picks up his phone, "Yeah, this is Buck." He Said, walking off.

"Speaking of dating Vi, are you and Xavier going out for another date?" Maddie Asked

"Um no." Violet Said

"What why? He seemed like a nice guy." Chimney Said

"Yeah I know but I just don't see it, I guess the spark I thought I saw wasn't there in the first place. But we just agreed to stay friends." Violet Said

"Sorry to hear that." Maddie Said

"No it's okay plus this comes when you're casually dating. Your feelings don't get get hurt as much, which is a win I guess." Violet Said

"Hm noted, what about you Reba any chance on seeing your nice gentleman friend again?" Chimney Asked

"Oh god no I never want to see that ass again." Becca Said

"All right. All right. Good-bye." Buck Said, walking back into the room and sitting down.

"I'm sorry did I miss something." Maddie Said

"You want me to tell them or you?" Violet Asked

"I'll tell them," She took a deep breath, "After I left the bar with Brandon he drove me over to his house.
When we got inside he offered me another drink, I know I already had three drinks but when Reba is present she can pass up a drink. Anyways we finished our drinks and we eventually had sex." Becca Said

"Oh." Maddie Said

"Way to go Becca." Chimney Said

"Wait so what else happened?" Buck Asked, intrigued.

"Well after we had sex we fell asleep the next morning, as I was getting ready to leave..his wife came back home." Becca Said

"Oh no." Chimney Said

"What a jerk." Maddie Said

"Yeah tell me about it as his wife was downstairs he hid me in the bathroom so she wouldn't see me. But she did as I was trying to sneak out, clearly they marital problems but I wanted no parts of that so
I bailed." Becca Said

"Damn I'm sorry Becca." Chimney Said

"Yeah." Maddie Said

"No No it's okay it's not like my morning couldn't get any worse than it already was." Becca Said

"But it did." Violet Piped up

"How could it get worse than that?" Buck Asked

"As I was leaving the house..their sprinkler system came out, and soaked my entire outfit." Becca Said

Maddie, Buck and Chim all shared looks as Becca shook her head embarrassed at the moment.

"It's okay..the moment's passed you guys can laugh." Becca Said

The three of them let out some laughs as the brunette smiled a bit, Violet hugged her from the side and kissed her forehead.

"That's right get it all out but guess what, I get that last laugh because I dipped his toothbrush into the toilet." Becca Said

"Ew." Maddie and Chimney Said

"Okay now that's just sick." Buck Said

"Good now he'll know what karma taste like." Becca Said, smiling proudly then began eating her takeout.

After dinner was over everyone helped clean up before they left. First Violet went home and as Becca was leaving, Buck decided to walk her to her car downstairs.

"So after one bad night you think your done putting yourself out there?" Buck Asked

"Mmm weirdly no..yeah it sucks that the fist guy I've slept with since my breakup was a complete ass. But that's the dating world, you've got meet a few losers before you meet the one right.." Becca Said

"I guess so." Buck Said

"I meant to ask this earlier but I didn't want to seem nosy, but who called you?" Becca Asked

"It was Ally." Buck Replied

"Ally? Wait Ally the girl we saved during the earthquake?" Becca Said

"Yup, that Ally." Buck Said

"I knew you gave her your number," Becca chuckled, "So what did she want?"

"She wanted to see if I was free tomorrow, she asked me on a date." Buck Said

"Don't tell me you said no?" Buck nodded slowly, "Damn it Buck." Becca Said, then slapped his arm.

"Ow! No need to hit me." Buck Said

"Buck a beautiful girl just asked you on a date, was all that stuff you said the other night about putting yourself out there a bunch of crap?" Becca Said

"No it wasn't crap it's just..you see what happened with Taylor. Us having sex so soon before things get serious, I felt a sense of familiarity of my old self and I don't want to do that.." Buck Said

"Have you ever learned self control?" Becca Asked

"What? Yes." Buck Said

"Doesn't look like it to me." Becca Replied

"Hey, I have self control." Buck Argued

"Oh dios mio okay you do, how about this let's say you go on a date with Ally. And if you feel like you may be tempted to sleep with her, be clear and direct with her and yourself." Becca Said

"Okay, that sounds good." Buck Said

"Of course it does now do me a favor and call Ally back. Buck your ready..I can tell, your ready to swim back into the pool." Becca Said, as Buck chuckles.

"Alright I'll call Ally back and accept her date." Buck Said

"Thank you and if it ever works out with you two, when you gets married I want the credit." Becca Joked

"Slow your roll there Becks it's the first date." Buck Said

"Okay then," She looked at her phone, "Well I should be heading home my three bundles of joy shall be home soon, and I want to be energized for them when they get here." Becca Said, walking towards
the drivers side of her car.

"Good luck that, oh hey Becks one more thing." Buck Said

"Yeah?" Becca Said

"I was wondering will we be seeing Reba again?" Buck Asked

Becca smiled at him then laughed, "Not for a while I can promise you that."

"Too bad I really liked Reba." Buck Said

"Yeah, she liked you too." Becca Replied, she winked at him then got in her car and drove off.
