Plot
Lillie sneaks into the arcade to play Donnie's newest game he had been playing for a week and a half, unfortunately she loses all of Donnie's game play progress so she goes to Leo, April, Raph and Mikey for help. The group come up with a plan to get Donnie out of the lair, Leo, Raph and Mikey stay with Lillie and help her beat the game before Donnie comes back.

It was a quiet night in the lair as each of the brothers were fast asleep in their rooms except for the newest little sister, Lillie. She was in her bed, squirming as she gave a soft whine in her sleep and she eventually woke up as the orange eyed child sat up, looking around the room before remembering about the video game she saw Donnie play this morning.

Lillie then carefully climbed out of bed and she put her unicorn slippers on as she made her way to the arcade as quickly but quietly as possible, she needed to be careful not to get caught as she looked around quietly and continued her way to the arcade.

She saw the TV set up and she grabbed the video game controller that was placed on top of the gaming system Donnie set with the TV, turning the power button on as the TV flickered on as well as the system. "I'll just play for a little bit and then go back right to where Donnie left off... he won't even know that I played it." Lillie whispered to herself.

On the screen came the title and opening for the video game which of course was The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Lillie smiled and she then clicked Donnie's save file as she started to play it for a bit and she had to get used to the controls but after a while of playing, she didn't realize it but Link ended up getting attacked by some Bokoblin's and Lillie gave a small yelp as she tried to move the character away but unfortunately the last heart was taken and the screen went black and it read.

"Game over? Aw.." Lillie then lost her grip on the controller as she tried to grab it before it fell and alerted the others, she managed to grab it and breathed a sigh of relief but it was unfortunately short-lived.

She saw her finger had hit both the home button and X button as the screen went black as Lillie's face paled and she quickly tried to get the game back up, the game opened again but when she tried to find Donnie's save file, it was gone. "Oh no." Lillie whimpered softly.

Lillie then turned the TV off and the console as she then quickly but quietly bolted to Mikey's room first as she had to wake him up along with the others except Donnie, Lillie snuck into the room and she saw Mikey was fast asleep, one of his legs dangling out of the hammock and she went over to the sleeping box turtle brother as she gave his side a soft nudge. "Mikey..! Mikey wake up!" Lillie whispered.

"Mmngh.. noo, that's my candy star.." Mikey mumbled in his sleep and turned over as Lillie had to do the most reasonable thing to wake him up, she grabbed a milk crate and used it to get a better height increase as she looked at Mikey as she got on the crate so she was at his level.

"Sorry for this Mikey.." Lillie mumbled, she then proceeded to smack Mikey across the face as Mikey sat up in alarm, looking down at Lillie. "Lil's, what was that for?!" Mikey whisper-yelled.

"I'll explain later, just help me wake up Raphie and Leo. Can you call up April too?" Lillie asked, Mikey rubbed his face where he got hit and he seemed puzzled but nodded. "Yeah, sure." Mikey said, he got up as the two then made their way to Raph and Leo's rooms.

After a wake up call for the other two brothers, the four went to the dojo so they were in privacy as Mikey got April on a video call using his phone as Leo rubbed his eyes while Raph leaned against the wall tiredly as Lillie paced around. "Okay Lillie, spill. Why did you wake us up?" Raph asked.

"Yeah, I'm supposed to be getting my beauty sleep." Leo mumbled.

"Look, I messed up! I snuck into the arcade and played Donnie's game, but when I hit the wrong buttons I accidentally deleted Donnie's save file!" Lillie exclaimed, she turned to the others who had looks of shock or worry, but also slight fear.

"Ooh, he's gonna be so mad." April commented, sounding concerned for the kid since if Donnie found out then the soft shell would more than likely be pissed off. "He's gonna be furious! He'll never trust you again." Leo stated, he was then smacked in the back of the head by Raph as Raph gave Leo a look.

"I know, I know..! That's why he can't find out, if I can just get his progress back then he won't ever know I messed with it! Will you guys help me?" Lillie asked, making puppy dog eyes and she was a bit worried if Donnie ever found out about his lost progress.

"Yeah!" Mikey chimed.

"Don't worry Firefly, we got your back." April said.

"Ditto Lil's." Leo said.

"Alright.. Leo, Mikey. Can you two help me with the first batch of missions in the game?" Lillie asked, looking over at Leo and Mikey as Leo did seem rather confused why Lillie didn't ask April to help out with the video game problem. "Uh.. sure? But I don't understand why you need my help since I don't exactly know much about Don Tron's games." Leo said.

"Yeah, but you're the second fastest reader. So I need you to go through this strategy guide and tell me about all the best tips and tricks for the game!" Lillie walked over to Leo and she carried over a large strategy guide book for the game as Leo was given the book and the red eared slider gave a nod in understanding as Lillie then turned to Raph as Mikey pointed the phone so April saw Lillie.

"As for you two, as soon as Donnie gets up he's going to want to play his video game. So we need to get him out of the lair somehow. Something that he can't resist!" Lillie chimed.

"Leave it to us Lil's!" April said, Raph agreed and the group had their plan set for tomorrow so they could help Lillie avoid Donnie's wrath.

The next morning

Donnie was getting up and the soft shell gave a yawn but stretched as he put his tech gauntlet on as well as his battle shell, he then made his way to the kitchen to grab some coffee but didn't notice Mikey, Raph and Leo peeked out of their rooms and then turned to each other, nodding.

Donnie got himself a cup of coffee and he rubbed his eyes before he made his way to the arcade, however he bumped into something and he shook his head to wake up as he saw that he ended up bumping into Raph. "Hey Donnie, still exhausted?" Raph asked.

"Very much so.. but it was worth it playing that game. Speaking of which, I was just about to resume it." Donnie said, he took a small drink of his coffee as the caffeine jolted him awake only slightly.

"Well, April just sent me something ya might like! There's a new haunted escape room that opened downtown." Raph showed Donnie an image on his phone as there was a picture of a spooky escape room attraction that opened up as escape rooms always peeked Donnie's interest since he could always find the keys to get out in record time.

"That does sound fairly amazing, but I'm planning on continuing my game. Besides, I can always go another day." Donnie said, he then continued his way to the arcade as Raph got a bit nervous since Donnie didn't take the bait for the plan, soon Raph heard his phone chime and he looked down at the message as he then glanced up at Donnie again. "Well you gotta go now! April texted me that the first fifty people get in free!" Raph said, making Donnie stop in his tracks as the purple masked turtle pondered for a moment.

"Really? Hm.. well, I was going to play my video game. Buut, how can I turn down a free escape room? Let's go!" Donnie said, he then followed Raph up topside as Leo and Mikey raced to the arcade where Lillie was getting everything set up.

"Okay, Donnie will be out of the lair for at least two hours. That should give you plenty of time to reclaim the lost progress!" Mikey said, he sat down and Lillie turned the console on as well as the TV as she then sat with Mikey and booted up the game.

The three started their plan, Lillie got through most of the wild parts of the game thanks to Leo reading the strategy guide and giving her different hints or tips to help her through the progress. Mikey was the hype man as he gave Lillie the confidence needed to continue to play as Lillie kept playing, managing to gather up weapons, armor and supplies that Donnie originally had in his save file. After about an hour passed, Leo laid back as he had the strategy guide book on his lap while Mikey had his legs crossed as he watched the screen before checking his phone, Lillie had her legs crossed as she sat down, making sure to have complete and utter focus.

"Okay you guys, just one more quest I have to do to get the last weapon Donnie got." Lillie said, she then grabbed her mango peach juice box and took a quick sip before setting it down since gaming was thirsty work.

"If I'm right, you got at least half and hour before D comes back." Mikey said, setting his phone aside as he turned to Lillie but Leo heard his phone give a ring like chime as the red eared slider grabbed his phone and checked the message, his eyes widening as he sat up. "Ooh boy, they're on their way back!" Leo exclaimed, making Mikey and Lillie have looks of shock on their faces.

"How?!" Mikey asked, he looked pretty worried and Lillie did as well as Leo then showed a picture that April sent on his phone. The photo was of Donnie holding a spooky looking board which read 'I survived the possession room!' with a confident smile on his face while April was face-palming herself in the picture.

"Apparently Donnie was super good at that escape room, he and April finished with twenty minutes left to spare." Leo said.

"Not good, not good! I need more time guys!" Lillie said, she started to get nervous and soon made a cute face when the blue masked brother patted her head as Leo gave a small smirk. "Relax Lil's, I've got this. Raph! You're up!" Leo called.

"On it!" Raph said, he made his way to the tank garage and took the turtle tank, he then headed out to try and stall Donnie long enough for Lillie to keep playing as Leo checked his phone and Lillie then resumed playing the video game as best she could.

"Alright, we just bought ourselves more time." Leo said, Lillie only gave a nod and her fingers went across the controller from the buttons to the joysticks as Mikey looked worried, watching from Lillie play before glancing at the TV.

However as she continued, her character would take damage whenever it was hit by an arrow or damaged by enemies in the game as Lillie was sweating a bit, her hands trembling as Mikey paced around while Leo checked his phone now and then. He was trying to buy as much time as possible so Lillie could finish the side quest in the game but soon Lillie was down to one heart.

"Aw man, I only have one heart left!" Lillie yelped, she was focused on the game as Leo then heard his phone chime after a while and it showed a message from April.

A: Y'all better hurry, we're almost there! Raph's running out of ideas for distractions!

"Lillie, you gotta wrap this up now. Donnie's almost home!" Leo said, looking over at the child who was an anxiety ridden mess as Mikey peeked outside the arcade and he looked around for any signs of April, Raph or Donnie before he made his way back over to Leo and Lillie.

"C'mon kiddo, you've got this!" Mikey said, being as supportive as he could as the three looked at the TV and soon Leo and Mikey took notice of one of the enemies of the game, a Stalmoblin.

It was going after Lillie's character, Mikey and Leo clung to each other out of worry as Lillie was trembling and tried to avoid the enemy. "Watch out!" Leo and Mikey exclaimed, soon Lillie's last heart was taken and Lillie gave a soft whimper, dropping the controller as she buried her face in her hands. Soon the three heard Donnie's voice as Leo and Mikey turned to the entrance of the arcade before they quickly ran as Lillie didn't get up from the floor. "Run Lillie!" Mikey said.

"Save yourself!" Leo said, Donnie then walked into the arcade and he saw Lillie as the little girl uncovered her face and looked up at Donnie with a worried and pained expression present on her face. "Hello Lillie, what are you doing?" Donnie asked, he then looked at the TV and noticed the game over screen as he dropped his bag.

"What happened?!" Donnie exclaimed, he looked at the TV as Lillie flinched and she felt horrible and tried to explain to Donnie, she wasn't much of a liar since she was very honest and truthful. "I-I was only playing for a bit.. but I lost all your progress. So I asked Leo and Mikey to help me get the progress back.." Lillie said.

"NOO!! Lillie, it took me a week and a half to get all that sweet sweet armor and gear!" Donnie said, he looked at Lillie and the girl flinched as she then rubbed her arm.

"I.. I know, I'm really sorry Donnie.. I spent all day trying to get your progress back-" Lillie started, she was then pushed aside lightly by Donnie who sat down on the floor and took hold of the controller.

"Just, leave me alone. I have a lot of work to do." Donnie said, he clicked 'Continue' as he started to play the game as Lillie looked down at the floor before she left the arcade and she didn't mean to make Donnie so upset.

Timeskip

After about three hours, Donnie was still playing his video game and his tongue stuck out in concentration as he was in what he called 'The Zone' so he cut off his interactions around him for the moment. Lillie peeked into the arcade and she carried a tray in her hands as she then made her way over to Donnie, the soft shell was snapped out of his zone for a moment and heard the kid's footsteps.

"Hey Donnie.. I just wanted to let you know, I cleaned up your room." Lillie said, she then set down the tray near Donnie as she looked away from him. Donnie looked a bit surprised that the child had did something so nice for him and turned to Lillie before looking at the tray, seeing that Lillie had made an assortment of his favorite snacks, some pizza slices and his favorite drink.

"I got your favorite drink, flavorless juice. I even asked Mikey if I could make your favorite pizza, I also got those sour cream and onion chips that you like.." Lillie said, she softly kicked the ground as she held her arm for a moment.

"Oh um.. thank you Lillie." Donnie said, he never expected the kid to be so nice to him even after what he said to her as the soft shell felt guilt practically hit him like a bus. Donnie looked at the TV and he had paused his game before he scooted over, patting a spot. "Do you want to join me?" Donnie asked.

"Really..? Even after everything I did?" Lillie asked, she turned to Donnie with surprise and she made a cute squeak when Donnie softly patted her head which was admittedly rare for the soft shell to show affection.

"Of course, I could tell that you were really really sorry. I should apologize as well for overreacting." Donnie said, he looked at Lillie and the girl sat down next to Donnie as Donnie then resumed the game.

"You know, maybe after I'm done here. I can create a profile for you." Donnie said, Lillie got little stars in her eyes as she looked up at Donnie with a small smile on her face and she gave Donnie a side hug.

Donnie looked down at Lillie and he cracked a small smile as he then used one hand to softly pat Lillie's head, Donnie let Lillie watch the game and Lillie gave Donnie some helpful hints thanks to the strategy guide that Leo read from. The two got to have a nice time playing the game and got along a bit better now.
