Plot
Raph and Lillie are heading back to the lair after an exhausting trip topside, but when something goes wrong that causes Raph and Lillie to be separated, Raph ends up going Savage and Lillie finally gets to understand the importance of why Raph can't be alone much like how she dislikes being alone herself.

Raph was carrying Lillie on his shoulders as they made their way across the rooftops and he smiled a little as Lillie giggled a bit but soon gave a yawn, she got to spend time with the snapper today since the other brothers were busy doing their own things in the lair. Raph glanced up at Lillie and he had a feeling that the little kid was pretty wiped out after today's activities.

"I know Lil's, don't worry though. We're almost home." Raph said, he eventually went down an alleyway after going across a few more rooftops and he found a manhole cover which he moved.

Lillie climbed down Raph's shell carefully and she landed on the ground safely before climbing down the ladder in the manhole as Raph followed down after her once he moved the cover back into place.

Lillie kept climbing down until she reached the bottom and she moved away from the ladder while she waited for Raph, she hummed a bit to herself as Raph eventually reached the bottom and the two continued their way to the lair until Raph felt something, he looked around and Lillie stopped in her tracks as she looked up at the snapper. "Something wrong Raph?" Lillie asked.

"I dunno.. feels like somethings wrong." Raph said, the two then felt shaking as the whole tunnel shook until an faint cracking sound was heard. Raph looked up and saw the ceiling of the tunnel began to collapse as his eyes widened, looking back to Lillie and running at her to protect her.

"LILLIE LOOK OUT!" Raph exclaimed, reaching an arm out as Lillie yelped and covered her head with her hands as a part of the tunnel caved in as dust was scattered about. Raph coughed and he looked around as he tried to quickly find Lillie, worried that the kid could be stuck under the rubble. "Lil's?! Lillie! Can you hear me?!" Raph called out.

Lillie gave a soft whimper and she opened her eyes as she looked around, she had been knocked off her feet and sat up as she looked over and was shocked to see that part of the tunnel caved in which separated her from Raph but began to hear him calling for her so she got up onto her feet and ran to the rubble.

"Raph! Raph I'm okay!" Lillie called back, she tried to find a way to move the rubble but couldn't find any openings as Raph breathed a sigh of relief once he heard the kid's voice. "Listen up Lillie, Raph's gonna find ya! Just stay put! Don't worry!" Raph said.

"Okay..!" Lillie called back again, she looked around the many paths in the tunnel of the sewers and she got worried since she had been told by Donnie that the sewers were a complex labyrinth so she didn't know where to even start to go or where it would end.

Raph began to take a different path to find Lillie and he had to be quick as he wasn't just worried for the kid's safety, but also worried for himself incase he ever went savage which was the last thing he'd want Lillie to experience. "Hang tight Lil's." Raph mumbled to himself, he kept searching and he tried to focus on the task at hand.

Lillie looked around and she knew that Raph wanted her to stay where she was but she didn't want to stay in one place, Leo told her scary stories of monsters in the sewers that ate up any living creatures in the tunnels so it freaked her out.

Lillie looked around the paths but went down the right away as she trembled a little, hoping that she made the correct choice. Lillie kept walking and she hummed to herself as it was a coping mechanism that she did whenever she was scared, she would hum or sing to herself to make herself feel less afraid.

Lillie kept walking until she felt the tunnels shaking again for a moment and she squeaked as she looked around, she picked up her pace while humming a bit more to herself and jolted when the tunnels began to shake yet again as another part of the tunnels ceiling began to come down.

Lillie quickly ran and avoided it but one jagged pipe ended up scraping rather harshly against the child's leg, making Lillie wince but focused on running as she got away from the disaster.

Raph kept running and soon stopped when he heard crumbling and felt the shaking as he looked around. "Lillie!" Raph called out, he tried to listen for her but heard no response back as he tried to keep himself calm as possible.

"Don't lose it Raph.. keep it together for Lillie's sake." Raph mumbled to himself and then continued his search as he was rather worried for the kid since she could wind up lost so easily in the maze of sewers.

Lillie found a spot to rest and she gave a whine as she saw blood oozing from the scrape on her leg from hitting the pipe, she checked her poncho for anything useful but the only thing at her disposal was the panic button Donnie had given her which was only used for emergencies.

"I can't use this, not yet anyway.. I still need to find Raph." Lillie sighed, she remembered Donnie telling her that Raph didn't like being alone and if he remained isolated for too long then he'd get weird. She didn't know what it meant but she wanted to find him before it happened, Lillie then continued her way after a brief moment of rest and she faintly heard Raph's voice echoing through the tunnels but she didn't know where it came from so she went down the left path.

Lillie searched around and she soon got an unsettling feeling as the air around her felt heavy, she looked up ahead and saw something reflective as she went to it and picked it up. It was a piece of snakeskin but it seemed fairly large and Lillie tilted her head before hearing a hiss that cut through the air like a blade.

Lillie stiffened up and she turned around as she saw a large snake like mutant behind her as it had a long body with dark brown scales, some lighter brown in certain parts, it's eyes glowing a fierce amber color, it had bubbly like markings along its body that glew a faint purple as the snake mutant hissed and detected Lillie's body heat.

Raph panted quietly as he kept searching but he was also losing himself to his panic, he didn't want to give in as he looked around for Lillie before his legs gave out and he collapsed onto the floor but tried to get back up. "C'mon.. get up! Get back up damnit!" Raph growled quietly and he picked himself back up but he felt like he'd wind up losing Lillie forever.

Raph held his head in his hands and he shut his eyes tightly as his breaths quickened and he felt like the world around him grew darker, he could only hear his own racing heartbeat which didn't help his panic attack either, something in him snapped and he wound up turning Savage.

Lillie screamed as she ran as fast as her legs could carry her and she heard the hissing grow closer to her as the snake mutant slithered after her, it was remarkably fast as Lillie dodged a few striking attacks that the snake mutant tried to land on her.

Lillie winced as her leg was still hurt but ignored the pain as she kept running and she looked around for any signs of Raph. "RAPH! Raphie where are you?!" Lillie called.

Lillie dodged yet another strike attack and soon the snake mutant used its tail to smack Lillie into a wall, Lillie gave a pained gasp and slid down the wall after the impact as she gave a soft whimper while the snake mutant drew in closer for the kill.

Lillie tried to get back up onto her feet quickly but the pain was too much for her small body as the snake mutant went to strike but was soon punched in its nose, making it let out a hiss like screech as it was sent back from the punch.

Lillie looked over and she saw Raph but she noticed something different about the snapper, his eyes were whited out and he seemed much more defensive yet aggressive. The snake mutant got back up and hissed at Raph as Raph growled and he looked at the snake mutant. "SAVAGE RAPH HUNT SEWER MONSTERS!" Raph rushed in and he landed even more hard hitting attacks on the snake mutant and even grabbed it by its tail, slamming the scaly snake mutant into the wall.

The snake mutant grew more aggravated and wrapped its body around Raph, attempting to squeeze the life out of him as Lillie got up but winced as she looked worried. "Raph!" Lillie exclaimed, Raph growled more as he couldn't break the bind the snake mutant had on him using his strength so he used his next best defense as he bit down hard on the snake mutant's body which made the snake mutant screech in pain.

The mutant snake's grip loosened as Raph let go and threw one last punch which sent the snake mutant back farther, the mutant snake couldn't handle it and Raph gave a roar at the snake mutant which made it slither away.

Lillie looked at Raph with amazement and she went over to him but she stumbled as her body was still in pain from the impact to the wall, Raph looked over at the child and he then began to walk away but Lillie tried to keep up with him. "Raph, wait up..!" Lillie said, she wondered why he acted so much differently than normal.

"Raph, it's me. Lillie! Don't you recognize me?" Lillie asked, she didn't see Raph even look at her or respond to her as worry laced her features and soon her damaged leg jerked, making her collapse as Lillie looked at Raph who kept walking ahead to search for something.

"Raph please..! Don't leave me alone! I.. I don't.. I don't wanna be alone again!" Lillie sniffled and she was admittedly scared but had been hiding it, the snake mutant almost killed her and she was terrified when she had gotten separated from Raph, so much so that she began to cry.

Raph stopped in his tracks when he heard that she didn't like being alone much like himself and he turned to look at the child as he then walked back to her, Lillie cried a bit and she soon calmed down when she saw Raph come back to her as she was then picked up by the snapper.

Raph carried her and held Lillie in a protective manner as he began to search for a place for them to recover. "Savage Raph.. won't leave you. You hurt.." Lillie then remembered the scrape to her leg and she wondered if this was the thing that Donnie mentioned about Raph getting weird when he was alone.

Once they found a spot to rest, Raph set Lillie down carefully as he then used some of the bandages from his hand to wrap up Lillie's scrape until they could get back to the lair.

Lillie looked at the snapper and she thanked him but she still seemed worried about what was wrong with him, she was eventually picked back up and Raph held Lillie in his arms as he kept her safe from any dangers since he didn't initially see her as a threat. He gave a low but calming churr from his chest as Lillie felt a bit better but realized that since she found Raph, she used the panic button and it alerted Donnie to the location of where they were.

Lillie gave a tired hum as she felt tired and her body was exhausted from running and the fight so she ended up drifting off to sleep in Raph's hold, after what seemed like forever, Lillie began to wake up and she saw her surroundings were different and she saw that she was in the medbay as Leo was putting some stuff away but took notice of the kid waking up.

"Hey Lil's, how are you feeling?" Leo asked, walking over and he was glad that the kid was okay as Lillie sat up a little. "Okay, I guess. Wait, Raph! Is he-?" Lillie turned to Leo and Leo calmed her down quickly before she got too worked up.

"He's fine Lillie, but he did go savage. We were surprised that he didn't hurt you when we found you guys. Raph's savage side is really aggressive. Donnie says that Raph didn't hurt you because you were a child, so naturally you wouldn't be a threat." Leo explained, it was a lot for Lillie to process but she understood most of it as she had been patched up a lot better now after the attack.

Soon the medbay doors opened and Lillie looked over to see Raph entered the medbay and he was back to his normal self, Leo looked over too and he smiled a little. "Just the turtle I was coming to get, Lil's just woke up." Leo said.

"Thanks Leo." Raph responded, he was glad that his brothers were at least able to locate them and help him and Lillie before things had progressed worse. Leo gave a nod and he patted Raph's shoulder before he left so the two could talk as Raph gave a sigh but sat in a chair next to Lillie's bedside.

"Sorry if I scared you Lil's, I didn't want you to see me like that. But it's something I can't control." Raph said, Lillie looked at him with her bright orange eyes but she scooted over to the edge of the bed and she hugged Raph as best as she could. Raph hugged her back and he calmed down as he was just glad that his little sister was okay.

"You weren't scary. Honestly, you were really cool..!" Lillie chimed, she smiled a little as she then looked at Raph and Raph chuckled quietly but he smiled a bit and he softly patted Lillie's head as he kept her company for a while longer.
