Leo, Mikey and Donnie had left the lair without Raph knowing to hang out with April but unfortunately they had failed to leave a note or a message for their older brother that they would be gone for some time, so Raph starts to panic and grow anxiety ridden until Savage Raph awakens. Mariella is sent to the lair by Donnie who asked to check up on Raph, unknowing to her that she would understand why you don't leave Raph alone.

Raph was currently coming out of his room and he gave a tired hum in response as he stretched, he took a nap not too long ago as he looked around the lair and noticed it was quiet, oddly quiet.

The snapper arched a brow bone in confusion but thought his brothers were just playing a joke on him, trying to ease his nerves. "Hey guys! Are ya hidin'?" Raph called.

Raph however heard not a single voice, not a even as much as a peep. The red masked turtle immediately felt his anxiety start to crawl along his shell, Raph started to search throughout the lair for any sign of his brothers.

He had checked the bedrooms, the kitchen, the tank garage, the arcade, the dojo and even the living room but not a single one of his brothers had been found which made Raph start to rub at one of his hands out of nervousness while he felt his breaths quicken.

"Okay Raph.. relax, you're just in the lair but.. all alone. They.. they must have left a text, a note, anything?!" Raph checked his phone but saw no recent messages as he felt his panic rising more and he felt like his chest was tightening, he held his head in his hands as Raph started to hear a small voice in the back of his head.

You're alone.

They left you all alone.

All alone and forever will be.

Savage.

Raph panted and started to hyperventilate, putting a hand over his plastron where his heart was before his vision had begun to blur and his conscious mind had started to black out.

Meanwhile

Mariella was currently on her way to the lair and the kitsune masked girl glanced down at her phone, looking over the text message once again that Donnie had sent her and she seemed a bit puzzled however about it.

[Bootyyyshaker9000]: Hey, can you check up on Raph? We may or may not have forgotten to leave a message for him. Also keep your guard up, Raph can tend to act... weird, even by our standards.

[xKitsune_Charmsx]: I'm on it, I'll keep you posted on what's going on!

Mariella however seemed confused about what Donnie had meant and she put her phone away in her pocket. "Weird how..? What aren't they telling me?" Mariella mumbled, she then silently went into an alleyway and moved the manhole cover, going down the ladder once she moved the cover back into place.

Mariella climbed down the ladder and she continued her way to the lair as she eventually arrived and noticed it was eerily quiet, she reached for one of her Kama's as she looked worried for Raph if an enemy infiltrated the lair. "Raph? Raph are you here?" Mariella called, a crash soon came from the arcade which she went to take a look.

Mariella peeked into the arcade and saw all the games but saw one of them had been knocked over, the screen smashed to pieces. "Raph..?" Mariella said, her voice laced with worry as she entered and she kept her guard up while she searched. She then saw a pair of eyes looking at her from the darkness, she had a hand on the handle of her Kama but stopped when she got closer, seeing that it was Raph, he was on all fours and growling lowly, his eyes all whited out.

"Go away.. Raph.. alone." The snapper hissed, backing away as this was definitely different behavior that Mariella had never seen before which was concerning.

"Raph, you're not alone. It's me, Mari.. don't you recognize me?" Mariella asked, approaching the red masked turtle and reached a hand out for him which made Raph grow even more defensive as he growled, in his eyes, the kitsune mask Mariella wore made her look like a terrifying kitsune monster.

Raph growled and then snapped at Mariella as she screamed a bit, her hand getting bit as she quickly pulled it back in pain. Mariella opened her other hand holding her damaged hand and saw that Raph had ended up biting the back of her hand, causing it to bleed slightly.

"Y.. You just snapped at me.." Mariella said, fear was in her miscolored eyes and she backed away as Raph growled defensively. Mariella then made her way to med-bay and got her hand bandaged up as she looked distraught about what had happened.

Mariella then went back to the arcade after some thought and she needed to try and get Raph to listen to her, Raph hissed when he saw the kitsune masked girl come back. "Stay away!" Raph growled.

"Raph.." Mariella started, her tone gentle as she took her kitsune mask off and set it aside as she was slowly approaching him as not to make the snapper feel more threatened already.

"You're terrified aren't you? You're terrified of being left alone.." Mariella said, Raph growled when Mariella got closer but he got up on his feet as Mariella carefully put her bandaged up hand out in front of her.

"I know that feeling all too well. Raph, you're not alone.. you're never alone. You have your brother's, April.. me included. I'm here." Mariella said, she softly held Raph's face with her hand which made him flinch but he stopped growling, oddly remembering this comforting touch before.

"You'd never hurt anyone, you'd never hurt me.." Mariella said, she softly rubbed his cheek with her thumb and Raph's vision cleared slightly as he didn't see the monster.. he saw Mariella's worried face and he closed his eyes before he snapped out of it. His eyes going back to normal as Raph held Mariella's hand against his face softly.

"Raph?" Mariella asked gently, she looked at him with her miscolored eyes laced with concern before she saw the snapper smile warmly at her. "Hey Mari.." Mariella teared up and she smiled before she jumped up, hugging Raph as he caught her and noticed her bandaging around her hand.

"Oh no.. I got weird again didn't I? D-Did I..?" Raph felt guilt building up as tears threatened to fall and Mariella softly hushed him and she kept hugging Raph, comforting him.

"It wasn't you, it was a defense reaction.. everyone has them. Yeah, it hurt but I'm more concerned for you." Mariella said.

Raph took a shaky breath but he hugged her back as he was careful not to crush Mariella in his arms, Mariella eventually led Raph to his room once she sent a message to Donnie about what had happened, knowing it would take a bit of time as they sat on the bed and Raph laid down but rested his head on Mariella's lap.

"It's okay, the others will be back soon. I'll stay here with you as long as you need." Mariella said, softly rubbing Raph's shell and being careful not to cut her hand again. "You won't leave me alone, will you?" Raph asked, almost scared to even ask her.

"Never. I won't ever leave you." Mariella promised, Raph felt more reassured and he gave a silent 'Thank you' to Mariella and he closed his eyes, slowly falling asleep as he felt a lot better and more comfortable with Mariella around.

When the guys got back, Leo, Mikey and Donnie immediately went defensive and searched for Mariella and Raph as Leo found the arcade a mess while Mikey found some supplies in the med-bay had been used as well as some bloody cotton balls. "Over here!" Donnie said, the two then went to Raph's room and they saw Mariella asleep and leaning against the headboard of the bed with a hand on Raph's head while Raph was asleep with his head in Mariella's lap, both of them in a state of content and comfort.

"Well, it does seem like they're both calm now. Raph didn't harm her too badly." Donnie said, he looked at the bandaging and Leo suggested leaving them be so the two could try and recover in peace. The three turtle brothers left the two alone to rest, Mariella gave a sleepy hum and Raph sleepily woke up and looked at Mariella.

He softly picked up Mariella and laid her on the bed as he laid down next to her, wrapping his arms around her softly as he cuddled her and he slowly drifted off to sleep once again with Mariella's reassurance.
