Plot
Leo and Fumiko are in the middle of a study session together but of course Leo winds up getting distracted until he gets an idea, deciding to take Fumiko to the Hidden City and tries to help her understand that some distractions are healthy and needed when stressed.

Leo was currently over at Fumiko's apartment and he hummed tiredly as he laid his head down on the coffee table out of boredom, the red eared slider was a bit lost in thought and so much so that he ended up missing what Fumiko said. "Leo!" Leo jolted a bit and he looked over at the brunette for a moment as Fumiko puffed her cheeks in a cute but angry manner, making Leo chuckle.

"What's that look for?" Leo asked, he sat up and stretched as he knew that they were supposed to study but it was growing a bit tiresome and he laid back a bit against the couch. "You know what it's for. We're supposed to study, not goof off you know.." Fumiko sighed, she seemed a bit wrapped up in her own stressful situation as she set aside a journal and there was a multitude of different colored sticky notes sticking out of the pages like bookmarks.

Leo took a gander at the journal and then back at Fumiko as he practically read the stress all over her like a book, so he got an idea and smirked a little as he got up. "What are you d– hey!" Fumiko yelped softly as she was picked up by Leo and carried over his shoulder and she squirmed a little.

"Leo! Put me down!" Fumiko exclaimed, she felt embarrassed that she had to be carried around like this and Leo got one of his swords so he could make a portal as he carried Fumiko over his shoulder. The blue masked turtle then slashed a portal open with his sword to take them somewhere.

"Just relax princesa, you shouldn't be so stressed out. So I'm taking you somewhere to de-stress." Leo said, Fumiko arched a brow and she made sure to at least grab her hoodie from the couch before they left through a portal that Leo slashed open.

Another portal opened in an alleyway as Leo landed on the ground safely and he had Fumiko in his grasp before he set her down, Fumiko slipped her hoodie on and pulled the hood up to hide her face so she wasn't seen in public. "Why did you portal us here?" Fumiko questioned and she seemed puzzled while Leo searched around for something.

"It should be right here somewhere.." Leo mumbled, he then found it after a bit and pushed a brick as a glowing symbol formed on it and a few more glowing symbols formed along the bricks until it made a sort of doorway, revealing some stairs leading down. "Whoa.. okay, definitely new on my list. What is that?" Fumiko asked.

"This is our ticket for a stress free day, shall we?" Leo put his katana away in its case and he motioned Fumiko down the steps as Fumiko was hesitant but she walked down the steps as Leo followed behind her.

They continued their way down the stairs until they arrived in the Hidden City as Fumiko was blown away by the place, to her it was like something out of some sort of fantasy story she had been told as a child and she kept her hood up to hide her face.

The two began to explore as Fumiko kept her hood up to hide her face and she was certainly surprised to see so many Yōkai as well, she had heard about different kinds of Yōkai in tales as a child and believed in them.

The two continued their exploration until they arrived at some sort of marketplace and there was all sorts of stands and stalls around selling different products, ranging from food to other various items or even jewelry as well as weapons.

Fumiko looked around and soon approached a stand that sold all sorts of beautiful jewelry or trinkets as she thought some of the shimmering crystals were astonishing, they sparkled like stars in the night. "Wow.." Fumiko breathed out and Leo walked over to her so he could keep track of her.

Fumiko then checked out another stand as Leo watched her explore and he was glad that Fumiko was at least relaxing and having fun before he heard a voice. "I take it your here to find something for a special someone?" Leo looked back over and saw the owner of the stand which was a mouse Yōkai.

She was a bit short for her height, she had brownish colored fur with some white patches on her ears and chest, a gold stud piercing on one ear, bright almost meadow green eyes, she wore a comfortable blouse like top with some ruffles along the bottom, a pair of brown hand stitched pants with a hole for her tail and her tail even had many ribbons tied to it in various colors and in different bow shapes.

She was moving around some stuff as she had taken notice of Fumiko and Leo by her stand. "Oh, well kinda.." Leo said, the mouse Yōkai looked over at where Fumiko was and she gave a gentle giggle but smiled with a happy sigh as she then looked back to Leo.

"Well, if you're looking for a gift for someone as special as her. You've come to the right place, anything in particular?" The mouse Yōkai inquired while Leo looked at all the different jewelry laid about on the table of the stand or strung up, there was necklaces, bracelets, pendants and even rings.

"Well, to me she's my everything.. I want to get her something that she can hold close to her heart." Leo said, the mouse Yōkai tapped her cheek in thought before snapping her fingers at an idea with a small smile. "I think I may have just the gift your describing!" The mouse Yōkai checked the back and she eventually came back with a small wooden box as Leo arched a brow bone, the mouse Yōkai placed the box down and faced it to Leo before lifting the lid.

A gentle blue glow came from the box and Leo saw a gorgeous silver necklace inside in the shape of a crescent moon, in the middle of the moon was a heart shaped metal piece and within the heart shaped metal was a gorgeous glowing blue stone. "Whoa.. it's so beautiful." Leo mumbled softly.

"It was a piece specially made, the glowing piece in it is called Lumistone. It's found in more darker areas of the Hidden City Underdepths, many Yōkai refer them as cave stars." The mouse Yōkai explained, Leo gave a nod in understanding and he thought about it but it seemed like the perfect gift for Fumiko.

Timeskip

Fumiko and Leo eventually went back topside as Fumiko gave a small cheer while they went back to the apartment and she seemed a lot better and less stressed out while Leo looked over at her with a small smile. "Glad to see you're feeling better princesa, told ya a little distraction was what you needed." Leo pointed out.

"Okay okay, I will admit that some distractions are a bit helpful.. but not all the time, Leon." Fumiko playfully nudged him and Leo chuckled but smiled as he then made a portal back to the apartment and they went through it. When they got to the apartment, Leo opened the pouch on his side and grabbed a small blue silk bag as he cleared his throat which caught Fumiko's attention and she looked over at him.

"What's that?" Fumiko asked, curiously looking at the bag and held her hand out as Leo placed the bag in her hand. "Open it and find out." Leo responded, Fumiko seemed puzzled but she opened the bag and saw a blue glow come from it as her eyes lit up with little stars at the necklace she saw and picked it up out of the bag.

"Leo, when did you..? This is so pretty." Fumiko breathed out and she looked back up at Leo who gave a small smile before leaning against the wall.

"I may or may not have gotten you that while you were exploring the rest of the marketplace. This way you can always have a piece of me close to you." Leo said, Fumiko smiled and she then put the necklace on as it seemed to glow brighter once it was on Fumiko.

Fumiko felt her cheeks heating up but thought that the necklace was quite gorgeous and she went to Leo, hugging him as Leo felt his own face heating up but he hugged her back softly with a small smile. "I'm glad you like it.." Leo hummed a bit and he looked at Fumiko who pulled away for a moment before he could react, Fumiko kissed his cheek and Leo blushed darker than before as Fumiko pulled away.

"Thanks Leo." Fumiko said, she eventually let him out of the hug as Leo merely gave a nod as he was in a bit of a dazed state but snapped out of it.

Leo then said his goodbyes to Fumiko before he headed home and Fumiko waved bye as she looked down at the beautiful moon necklace around her neck, she planned on cherishing it for as long as she could.
