In this one-shot jughead and cheryl become good friends after a small problem. Enjoy!

This is my first one-shot i've done on wattpad which i actually like! if you have any suggestions for ships or friendships comment them!

   Cheryl blossom...HBIC of riverdale high but also known as the soft girl who hid her softness under her tough skin...that was until ne boy came into her life....The serpent king, jughead jones. the redheaded princess swore it was love at first sight but she knew about this serpent king taking a liking to her cousin also known as betty cooper, This brought hate to the head cheerleader's stomach which made her do something she wish she never did......let's go back in time shall we? 

The redheaded princess had made her way down the busy hallway of riverdale high which is where she was approached by her love struck cousin, betty cooper. the girl let out an annoyed sigh then placed on one of her fake, small smiles. ,, Yes cousin betty? '' the cheerleader said in her famous, not bothered face until the girl heard the name, jughead, this shot her attention to its peek and she was waiting to find out what her cousin was mumbling on about. ,, hold on, explain again my dear cousin '' the red-head said in a curious voice and fell silent to let the blonde girl in front of her talk. ,, So, as you know... I'm dating jughead but i really feel like my heart belongs to veronica after our- '' the blonde nerd was stopped half way through thanks to her red-head cousin. ,, The kiss you two shared in front of me, yes i know '' the girl smirked then let betty speak again ,, Right, but i don't know how to break it to jughead that i want to end things then go with ronnie....'' The perfect girl next door finished what she was saying then looked at cheryl with an honest , scared look in her eyes. The HBIC just smirked and walked off into the crowd of serpents who were standing with jughead jones himmself. 

A couple minutes later once the serpent convo calmed , cheryl took her chance. ,, oh! , Jones , Your girlfriend over there told me she wanted to break up with you but she was going to just ignore you til you get the message " the blossom twin pointed out to betty who was innocently stood at the lockers in front of them along with ms. lodge herself. Cheryl eventually felt a pair of strong arms wrap around the left arm which was located on her body before being pulled into someone's chest. it took a minute to realize she was being held by the one and only serpent king who was about to burst into a crying fit so it sent her softness out of her body which was going to be such a surprise since she was never and i mean NEVER kind and sweet to anyone. Now was cheryl's moment to shine so she pulled the beanie boy's head onto her shoulder, stroking his back to give him the comfort he defiently needed at this moment. To the red-head's surprise she felt the strong arms of jughead wrap around cheryl's hour-glass figure and hold her close to him which sent a happy and cute giggle out of the cheerleader's lips. 

It was minutes and minutes of just hugging , giggling , crying and comfort. The red-head felt people stare but why would she seem to care that people could be snapping photo's of her hugging the boy who use to sleep in a janitors closet inside the school which the red-head had came along a day she came in early to work on cheer routines for the big game on the friday coming but that was a year ago, alot has changed since them so she didn't care if rumours were spreaded around the whole school, she had ways to make them rumours disappear within 10 minutes of being spread. The beanie headed boy had eventually unwrapped his arms from the hips of cheryl blossom and look around him to see only them, sweetpea and toni with them , also supporting the hurt male. There was an odd silence until toni had broken it with a smirk spreading across her face. ,, wanna skip? '' was all that escaped the rosy pink lips. The male named sweetpea had a huge grin spread across his face which was a way of saying he was super up for skipping until everyone's attention turned to the one and only serpent king. It was a couple seconds of silence before the king let a smile spread across his lips and nod his head. ,, Let's go serpent's! '' The male sad with a huge grin as the four sneaked out of the school and headed to the wyrm. 

After hours and hours of hanging out without getting caught, The serpent king and stood up from his seat and made his way outside for a quick breather since the room was stuffy from the lack of windows in the bar which jughead just spent 6 hours in, messing around and drinking his ass off. The sun had started to set in front of the male's eyes which made a sigh fly out his mouth and disappear into the oxygen. Jughead jones had leaned his head against the wall, scrunching his face up in sadness once he had the memory of betty breaking up with him through cheryl but his face started to loosen...cheryl....cheryl supported it....cheryl gave him the comfort he needed and when he needed. The food lover had walked back into the wyrm, snaking his fingers around the wrist of cheryl blossom and dragging her outside gently. The red-head was tempted to let out a huge, high-pitched scream until she felt the similar strengh that jughead had held around her hips in front of most the school 6 hours ago. ,, Cheryl , I-........I want to thank you for helping me...giving me support when i needed it...and telling me what betty was planning... '' The beanie boy spat out in a nervous state, earning another adorable giggle out of the HBIC's mouth. ,, Well...We can't stay forever young , can't we? '' The red-head said in a sweet voice before being pulled into a hug which she shared with jughead. The moment was quiet...until the two broke the silence at the same exact time. 

,, ......I wish we could stay forever young... '' The two teens said in a friendly voice as they looked into each other's eyes happily then continued to stroke each other's back as they returned to their loving hug.
