Last week at school I was in math class and I mentioned the time one kid asked me if I'd ever met a trans person(bc I had moved here from Cali and it was a whole thing) and right as I said it, my friend almost yelled "I hate trans people!" And everyone just sat and looked at her.

And then I continued my conversation(which I should point out she wasn't even a part of) saying that my brother is trans, then she switched around going "well I don't *hate* trans people, I just don't care for them."

That's basically the same thing my moms said about, all of the lgbtqia+ community. And she so obviously just has internalized homophobia. But like, girl already said outloud. LOUD AND CLEAR that she hates trans people, and she kept trying to back up and switches around her words and the meaning.

Just thought that was pretty... 🙂
