An international K-pop sensation has gone from in to out seemingly overnight. WISH, an eight-member girl group is under fire from antis due to their horrible live performance. At their most recent concert in Seoul, South Korea, all of the once-beloved idols messed up at every turn. From music mishaps to forgetting choreography, WISH left their loyal fanbase shook... and exited the stage in tears.
Antis have taken this opportunity to call them lazy and not dedicated enough, and most of the world seems to be in agreement. A few loyal fans still have belief that WISH can up their game and gain back their previous success, but even they have to admit their group has messed up so badly there might be no return.
WISH dropped their highly anticipated EP on November 17th to highly positive criticism. Their EP, entitled "NIGHTMARE," consists of tracks (in order), "Trick-or-Treat," "ANGEL/DEMON," "Lovely Lucifer," and "Pumpkin Spice." They scheduled concert dates at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, South Korea for November 26th, 27th, and 28th. The stadium sold out in under three hours. For the most part, the 26th and 27th date concerts went off without a hitch. And then we came to the now infamous November 28th concert.
The first song on their setlist was supposed to be "Lovely Lucifer," but there was a problem with the sound system and the eight girls were forced to stand awkwardly on stage for ten minutes while their staff fixed the problem. When they got the song up and running, all was fine until the bridge, when all of their mics suddenly cut out and the feedback was nearly unbearable.
At this point, only one song into their concert, many fans were ready to go home. WISH continued the concert until their third song, "Trick-or-Treat," when one of the girls forgot the choreography and threw the whole group off-kilter. To top it all off, one of their pyrokinetic effects malfunctioned during a song and caused one of the girls to fall.
Three of the members walked off crying while the others apologized to the audience and left the stage. WISH's management was not available for questioning. Their agency has yet to release any official statements. For the most part, WISH has disappeared from the public eye.
Is WISH cancelled? Vote in our poll to find out:

@usernamefour: just goes to show rookie groups can't handle the pressure lol 😂
@usernamefive: i have confidence they can comeback! WISH, hwaiting~ 😭🙏💔
@usernamesix: Ugh cancelled. Even if they're feeling bad it's their duty as idols to perform well for their fans. Call me an anti but they need to get their act together. As idols they should put their fans before themselves, I hate seeing selfish groups like WISH get the spotlight when so many underrated groups are struggling.

All groups fall prey to antis after they make an inevitable mistake. What most people don't stop to consider are the reasons why. It is an idol's duty to perform well for their fans and to put their fans before themselves, according to most antis whenever an idol messes up. But the truth is, sometimes this is too much to handle.
Being an idol means high stress, and the K-pop industry is not very rewarding. Competition is fierce and tensions are high between rival groups and their fans, and often idols suffer because of it. If an idol doesn't perform well for one concert, people will call them selfish and lazy. If this becomes a recurring event, antis will try to force them out of the group.
Although WISH's November 28th concert did not go as planned, surely there are reasons behind it. Each idol has a different reason for messing up their performance, but the public does not know these reasons.
The world often does not understand an idol's struggles and does not want to understand. All they want to see is a pretty face, and all they want to hear is a beautiful voice. They are not willing to understand that an idol is human and prone to mistakes, just like them.
Every fan wants to see their idols in an angelic light. But what happens when that façade is broken?
