Taehyung stood up and and took your left hand on his left hand. You looked down at your hand as he slid the ring inside your ring finger. A tear drop fell on his palm as he looked at you and saw you shedding tears with a blank expression on.
Taehyung: W-What happened babe? Why are y-you crying?
He asked as he cupped your cheeks and made you look into his eyes.
Taehyung: Aren't you happy?
Y/n: Tae.....I-I'm sorry..

He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion as he suddenly felt his head getting heavy. He held his head tight as he stumbled back a little. His surroundings were getting blurry as he could only see Y/n looking at him blankly. Suddenly he fell on the ground unconscious.

Y/n looked at his body with uncontrollable tears falling from her eyes.
Y/n: Forgive me Tae...I love you...
She said as she went away from there while wiping her tears.

*Time skip*

Taehyung's Pov

I fluttered my eyes as I felt water being splashed on me. Opening my tired eyes, I saw myself in dark room tied on a chair. I looked at the person infront of me and scrunched my eyebrows.
??: Surprise!
He said with a evil chuckle.
Taehyung: W-Who.....are y-you?
I asked as he laughed and said.
??: You don't know me?
He asked as I just looked at him with a questioning look because I was feeling two tired to even talk.

??: Okay let me introduce myself then...Hi I'm Taemin.
He said as he extended his hand for a handshake as I glared at him.
Taemin: Oops...I'm sorry.
He took back his hand while chuckling.

Taehyung: I....I don't k-know any Taemin.
I said as he frowned and brought his face near mine giving me a clear view of his face. It's seemed familiar.
Taemin: Tae...You're such a dumb head. Okay let me remind you.
He said as he searched for something in his pocket.
Smiling widely he showed his palm which had a small infinity shaped keychain.

I narrowed my eyes too look closely when my eyes widened in shock. I snapped at him as he smirked.
Taehyung: T-Tete?
Taemin: Hi bestie!
I gulped a huge lump in my throat while looking at him with terror.
Taemin: Apparently...I escaped but...they couldn't.
He said while looking at me with piercing gaze while tightly holding on to the keychain which soon broke into two halves.

Flashbacks started hitting him like a storm. The time when he had that one person in his life who was the dearest to him and that was this man sitting infront of him. He one and only bestfriend, Taemin.

*Flashback*
-20 years back-

Taehyung: Where were you idiot?
Taemin: I'm sorry lol...I was just having my breakfast. So what are we going to do today?
Taehyung: As planned...We'll play shooting game.
Taemin: Okay.
The 12 year old boy squealed happily.

This was their daily routine. Waking up in the morning, studying, having breakfast and then spending the rest of the time till evening together. Just like two inseparable bestfriends.

But who knew these two bestfriends more like brothers would once become the best enemies.

*Later that day*

*Taemin's Pov*

I was searching for Mrs. Kim since Tae wanted dry clothes since his were wet. I was roaming around the big mansion looking around for her. Never in my life have I seen such big mansion. My family was friends with Tae's family since my dad and Mr.Kim were school friends. But my dad wasn't as rich as them. It never bothered me to be honest.

I was walking around while thinking about these when I heard a familiar voice. It was my dad's. I curiously followed the voice and saw my dad talking with Mr.Kim. I went near the door and hid behind it trying to figure out what they were talking about. That's when I noticed Mrs. Kim was also present there.

Mr.Kim: YOU SON OF A B*TCH!!! I SUPPORTED YOU AND YOUR SMALL USELESS BUSINESS SO THAT YOU COULD DO THIS??!!!! HOW DISGUSTING!!!
He screamed angrily.
Mrs.Kim: P-Pls...Speak slowly the children mig-
Mr.Kim: SHUT UP!!!! JUST SHUT YOUR MOUTH!! YOU BITCH!!! HOW DARE YOU CHEAT ON ME WITH THIS MAN???!!! HUH??!!
Growling like a lion he grabbed her neck tightly as she struggled to free herself that's when my dad tried to stop him.
Dad: Please...Please I beg you leave Nayeun...She is innocent..I-Its all my fault. It's my fault please...
He tried to free her from his grip which he successfully did as Mrs. Kim hugged him while crying hysterically.

Dad: Shhh...It's all okay. Don't cry.
He tried to comfort her while patting her head.
Mr. Kim: LOOK HOW SHAMELESS YOU TWO ARE!!! YOU DISGUST ME!!! I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU BUT I DO ABOUT MY REPUTATION!!! YOU!!! GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE RIGHT NOW!!! AND YOU COME WITH ME!!!
He said as he grabbed Mrs.Kim's upper arm harshly and pulled her out with him.

Seeing them coming towards the door, I hid behind it. As they went away from my sight I glanced back at the room only to see my dad crying vulnerabely while kneeling down. I was too confused to even understand the situation when someone tapped my shoulder.

Taehyung: What are you doing here?
I flinched as he noticed my teary eyes.
Taehyung: Y-You were crying?
He asked as I wiped my eyes and felt warm liquid on my hands. Tears which fell unconsciously from my eyes.
Taemin: U-Uh...They are nothing. Something went in my eyes I guess..Let's go..
I said as I held his hand and pulled him out of there.

*At night*

I was staring at the white ceiling of my room blankly thinking about the incident I witnessed today. After my dad came home, he didn't talk to anyone. He didn't even eat anything. He looked depressed. I sighed as I looked at the keychain in my hand. Tar gifted this to me which symbolises our eternal friendship. I smiled but then I heard some screams from outside of my room and a weird smell of something burning.

I got out of my bed and went towards the window and there I saw that man and few of his men. Mr. Kim and his men standing there with a smirk. They glanced at me through the window as I looked at them. He suddenly waved at me and left with his car. That's when my room's door burst open and I saw my father calling out to me.

Dad: TAEMIN!!!!! COME HERE FAST!!!!
He said as I widened my eyes seeing the huge flames of fire behind him. He was continuously gesturing me to hold his hand. His face showed visible fear. I gulped as I was about to hold his hand when a part of the wall fell infront of him burning in the fire.
Taemin: DAD!!!!!
I screamed as tears made its way through my eyes.

He somehow jumped over it and entered my room engulfing me in his shaky arms.
Dad: Are you okay son??!! Did you get hurt??!!
He asked while checking me from head to toe as I shook my head aggressively.
Dad: Y-You have to escape from here.
Taemin: W-What do you mean??! I'M NOT GOING ANYWHERE WITHOUT YOU DAD!!
Dad: YOU HAVE TO!!! Listen to me...We can't jump of this window. But I can help you.

Taemin: But-
Dad: No buts...Just do as I say. And after you go out make sure you live a great life. You have to make me proud okay?
He asked as I nodded not willing to leave him.

He quickly tore the curtain and hung it outside the window.
Dad: I'm holding it. Get down.
He ordered as I held onto his arms.
Dad: JUST GO!
He said as I flinched and climbed the window.

I saw the fire spreading in my room. As I said
Taemin: D-Dad please...Come with me.
I said as I held on to the cloth.
Dad: Be happy son. I'll always be with you. Always.
He said as he left the cloth and I fell on the ground. I groaned in pain as I looked up only to see him smiling sadly at me.

Taemin: Dad...
I whispered lightly but soon my eyes widened as the fire engulfed my dad.
Taemin: DAD!!!!!
I shouted but it was too late. My whole house was now a heap of ashes.

I fell on my knees as I cried my heart out.
Taemin: WHYYY??!! WHY ME??!! WHY US??!!
I cried but then I remembered something. I took out the keychain out of my pocket. I started at it with utmost hate as I held it in my fist tightly.
Taemin: I promise you Tae...I'll turn your life into a living hell. I'll take my revenge.
