Guess who's back! I apologize for disappearing for a week without notice, my mental health hasn't been great and I've been working on end of the year assignments and tests. I don't know why, but I'm good at writing trauma, so I decided, why not give (Y/N) a shit ton of trauma? Lmfao. I apologize for some of the major TW's, if you aren't comfortable with any of them, feel free to tell me, so I can try and avoid it in the future. Especially with the pills. It was honestly a last minute thing I used as an excuse for (Y/N) to cuddle someone lol. By the time I realized it probably wasn't the best idea, I had already started writing. So if you aren't comfy with it just imagine (Y/N) ate too much candy lol. Also I'm sorry if some of my writing is messy, I wanted to get this chapter out as fast as I can. If you guys have a suggestions for future chapters I'm open to any ideas. Thank you and enjoy.ย

And you'd say you love me and look in my eyes
But I know through mine you were

Those who shine the brightest, burn the fastest.
Both of you had been sitting in silence after the embarrassing ordeal. Somehow you would always find a way to make things awkward, no matter the situation. Sasha looked out the window, avoiding eye contact, and you fidgeted with your fingers to distract yourself.
As if right on time, the doorbell rang, startling you and Sasha.
(Doorbell noise lmfao)
"I'll go get the door."
Sasha got up and bolted out of the room, seemingly eager to break the tension. You released a breath you didn't know you had been holding. 'My first time at someone's house and I've already managed to mess it up.'
The sound of footsteps brought you out of your thoughts, and you turned to face the door. Sasha walked back in, Marcy and Anne following her. She sat on her bed, and Anne and Marcy sat on the floor. The two said hello to you and put their things down.
"Hey, guys!"
Hey (Y/N), I'm glad you decided to come." Anne smiled while Marcy was already playing games.
You nodded and smiled.
"Should I order takeout?" Sasha asked, scrolling through her phone.
You shrugged, as you didn't mind what she chose to do. Sasha made up her mind and placed an order through a mobile app. (These apps are so helpful, they are so much faster than ordering food at a drive-through.๐ญ)
A movie was playing on the TV: Four female warriors, all with magical powers, fighting for survival against a great evil. The one in gold seemed very familiar. You brushed it off as a coincidence.

A few hours had passed, and the sun had set, making way for the moon. Despite being more of a night owl, something about the sun was magnetic to you. The bright colors present because of the arrival of the sun every morning were something you would always adore.
You were sprawled out on the carpeted floor, the crop top you were wearing riding up slightly, exposing some of your stomach.
"Hey (Y/N), what's your favorite character from this game? Mine is โ-."
Marcy was practically squished against you, as she lay right next to you, her Nintendo Switch shoved in your direction. You tried not to think about how close you were, the tip of your ears turning pink.
"Hmm, Probably โ-." Pointing at your favorite.
"Nice! I like โ- too! If you build them correctly they do a lot of damage."
"Yeah, but good artifacts are hard to find." You blinked and propped your head in your hand.
" I know! I can't find any good artifacts in this domain."
Her hair fell in her face slightly during her excitement. You reached and tucked the loose strands behind her ear, staring into her pretty, emerald-green eyes.
She looked at you in shock, then became flustered. You were amused at her reaction.
You and Marcy chatted about games before she went back into her world. You felt something brush your side and turned to look at whoever it was. (You are now laying on your back, exposing more of your stomach and making it easier for everyone to see Lol.)
"Oh- Hey Anne."
She was now sitting right next to you, making you blush, as two pretty women were sitting by your side.
"Have you read this magazine before?" Shaking your head, she handed it to you.
It was a teen romance magazine. You fought the urge to laugh and roll your eyes. 'People still read magazines?'
"A romance magazine?"
"Yeah, I read these a lot. After all, I am known as the best matchmaker."
You giggled. "By who, exactly?"
She paused for a moment, her proud grin faltering. "Uhh...By people.."
"Oh? Can you elaborate on these 'people'?" Smirking at Anne, you watch her face turn red. You lean in closer to her, your faces inches apart.
She blushes and leans away, surprised by your sudden confidence. "Umm... You know what- I forgot- uh I have something I have to do."
She snatched the magazine back and covered your face with her hand. 'Cute.'
You laughed and removed her hand from your face. "If you're such a matchmaker, why is your face so red?"
Anne shook her head. "It's just hot in here..."
You smirked at her lie. "Okay then, if you say so."
She smiled and laid down next to you, finding another magazine to read in the process. A notification popped up on your phone, your mother was wondering where you were.
Text Message Conversation:
Motherโค๏ธ: (Y/N) (L/N)! It's 10 pm! Where are you?!
(Y/N)๐: Oops, sorry mom, I was having so much fun I forgot what time it was. I'm still at Sasha's house.
Motherโค๏ธ: You're going to be the death of me one of these days! How do you simply forget what time it is?
(Y/N)๐: I got...sidetracked, but whatever you say lol. Just try and make it to my graduation.
Motherโค๏ธ: ๐
(Y/N)๐: Since it's already late, can I sleep over at Sasha's? Please?๐ฅบ
Motherโค๏ธ: Fine. Don't stay up too long, go to bed at a reasonable hour, please. Also, don't get too... lovey-dovey, you are still a minor.
(Y/N)๐: Mom! Why would you say that? I get nervous even holding someone's hand.
Motherโค๏ธ: Please. We both know how gay you are. Your Sanrio-filled room doesn't lie, sweetheart.
(Y/N)๐: ๐
Motherโค๏ธ: Don't you roll your eyes at me. Make sure to behave, and don't flash someone with those baggy clothes of yours. My poor eyes have seen enough waking you up every morning.
(Y/N)๐: You act like a little bit of skin show is going to kill you.
Motherโค๏ธ: It just might. I love you, dear. Be a good girl, and don't make me come down there to hear you've gotten in trouble.
(Y/N)๐: I think you're forgetting your talking to someone who has never had detention before. I love you, mom. Also, please don't embarrass me in front of my new friends.
Motherโค๏ธ: I would never embarrass you on purpose.๐ I have to go now, goodnight dear.
*Text conversation ends.*
You roll your eyes at your Mother's antics. 'She always underestimates me.'
"Hey, Sasha, do you mind if I sleep over?" You ask aloud.
"Sure, I don't mind."
"Ok, thanks."
"No problem, just try not to snore." Sasha smirks.
You rolled your eyes and grinned. It was pitch black outside and you already felt tired. You reached for your bag, which was currently thrown across the floor, and grabbed a bottle of pills. It was Melatonin, sleeping pills. You couldn't sleep well without them. It's like you were dependent on them for rest, as you had been using them for years. Popping the cap off, you recklessly threw some into your mouth, not bothering to count how many, and washed it down with some water.
Unbeknownst to you, Sasha was secretly eyeing you from her bed, pretending to be glued to her phone. When she saw the bottle of pills, she froze, her expression morphing into something unreadable when she saw how many you took. Sasha knew better, because you were still a minor, meaning you were only supposed to have a few at max. Anything more than that could cause an overdose. She made sure to keep an eye out for you during the night.
Anne and Marcy were already asleep next to you, and you closed your eyes to drift off to sleep. Sasha got up and turned the light off, grabbing a blanket and putting it over the three of you.
"Goodnight, girls." Sasha turned around and started walking forward to her bed.
"Goodnight, Sasha."
She turned her head to look at where the voice had come from. Her eyes met yours and you smiled. The moonlight reflected a soft look across your features, bathing you in a soft, blue light. You looked ethereal. The darkness hid the blush creeping up onto Sasha's cheeks.
"Night (Y/N)."
You nodded and closed your eyes. Slowly drifting away, the last thing you felt was a numbness overtaking your body. And for a moment, you were at peace.

"You are my sunshine
My only sunshine
You make me happy
When skies are gray
You'll never know, dear
How much I love you
Please don't take
My sunshine away"
A child, no younger than the age of five, sat in front of a young woman in her mid-twenties. The woman was brushing the damp hair of the child in front of her, who had just had a bath. Singing a soft lullaby, the young woman, the mother to the child in front of her, softly brushed then braided the (H/C) locks. Intertwining flowers with each twist.
"(Y/N), I love you very much, my darling. You truly are my sunshine."
The small girl looked up at the woman, who was now finished braiding her hair and smiled brightly. "I love you, mommy."
"I love you more."
The mother had long hair, also put in a braid with white lilies. She wore little star earrings and had a beautiful white, summer dress, with tiny sun patterns embroidered into it. Eyes a brilliant gold, reflecting the radiance of the sun. The young child thought she was the most beautiful woman in the world.
"Mommy?"
"Yes, dear?"
"Who do you think I'll be when I'm older?"
"I'm not sure. But one thing I do know is that whoever you mature up to be, I will always love you the same, sunshine."

Time passed, and in an instant, (Y/N) had grown up. She was no longer five. She wore that same white dress her mother had worn, her hair in a braid with white lilies, and a necklace dangling from her hand. A rose-shaped pendant hanging from the string.
Something odd was that the ends of her dress were stained red, like the color of blood. The red covered her arms. The thing that stood out was her eyes. Dead. Her eyes looked dull like there was no more brightness in them. Tear streaks stained her face, and she looked like an emotionless doll.
Was the blood hers?
Roses surrounded her as she stood alone in the field behind her family's house. The same red as the liquid that covered her.
Rose...the same name as her sister. The necklace belonged to (Y/N)'s sister, Rose. The shape of the necklace matches her sister's. Where was her sister? Surely, she was just inside, asleep in her bed. She had to be. Her beloved sister, her best friend, and her family. Rose kept (Y/N) sane, and (Y/N) protected her in turn.
Their father, a successful businessman, was wealthy beyond means. But didn't bother to share even a penny of it with his family. Something happened, and he became abusive, constantly drinking, and always arguing with his wife. One day, she couldn't take it anymore, and she disappeared.
Forced into the job of protecting her baby sister, (Y/N) took the abuse. Until... it stopped. One late night, she returned home after working for money, only to find her father hanging out. The chair from under him was broken, like his neck.
A noose hung from the ceiling like her father had.
She would never tell her sister what had happened. She couldn't. Her innocent sister didn't deserve to have her childhood stolen away from her like (Y/N) had. (Y/N) found a shovel and got to work. Unfortunately, fate decided that Rose wasn't worthy enough of life.
Leaving only (Y/N) behind.

You woke up in a cold sweat. Your head felt dizzy and your breathing was off. '....'
Something dropped from your mouth, and you noticed the taste of iron. It was blood. You got up carefully and rushed to the bathroom.
Washing your mouth out, you looked at yourself in the mirror, and you looked like a mess. You looked pale, you were bleeding from the mouth and even felt dizzy.
'The pills!'
You went back into the bedroom and grabbed your bag to search for the sleeping pills. The pill bottle had a warning on the bottom that reads, "Warning: Do not take too many pills than originally intended. Consuming too many sleeping pills can cause sickness, hallucinations, overdose, and death. If you suspect someone is suffering from an overdose, call 911 immediately."
"Shit."
You read further down and saw that you hadn't taken enough to overdose, thankfully. You could be a real idiot from time to time. Even if you hadn't taken enough to overdose, the amount you took wasn't healthy.
'I should probably see a doctor.'
You walked back into the bathroom to freshen up, preparing to leave and go back home. A noise came from behind you and you froze. Slowly turning around, you saw who was behind you. It was Sasha, and she looked like she was about to have a nervous breakdown. 'How did she-'
"Are you okay? How many pills did you take?" Her voice panicked but in a whisper.
"I'm fine, just a little dizzy. I think... I only took about seven at most, which isn't that bad."
Sasha visibly paled.
"(Y/N)! Are you trying to overdose? Why would you take that many?"
You didn't know, so you just shrugged. You need to think about your actions before you do them.
Sasha closes the door and approaches you. "You need to throw them up."
"What?!"
"You have to get them out of your system before you get worse."
"I can't just throw up on command. Especially, my emetophobia won't allow it."
"Please (Y/N), you have to do this. I care for you and don't want to see you like this, but it's the only way to keep you from overdosing."
You stepped back. Sasha didn't like this and grabbed your wrist.
(I am not gonna write this but Sasha forced you to throw up. Girlie was not gonna let that one slide. Sasha probably gave the side eye the entire time lmfao. /j )
You sat up against the wall, breathing heavily from the incident seconds before. Sasha rubbed circles into your back the entire time. 'She may be forceful, but she is really sweet. I'm such a gay ass.๐'
(Yes, you can think emojis because I said so.)
Somehow, Marcy and Anne had slept through this entire ordeal, sleeping peacefully in the bedroom. All of the stress that had followed you the entire week boiled up until this point, a few tears falling down your cheeks. Sasha noticed this and sat down in front of you.
"Hey, don't cry, I'm here for you." She used her thumb to wipe away the tears.
"I'm sorry, I've just been so stressed lately. It's nothing I promise."
You smiled and calmed down, looking away from her eyes.
"Don't do something stupid like that again, you could have died. I don't wanna force you to throw up pills again because you took too many like an idiot."
You laughed at her and leaned forward to lay on her. She turned red and gasped.
"(Y/N)? What are you doing?"
'Your mom. /j'
You just smirked and closed your eyes. Within minutes you were back asleep, leaving a very flustered Sasha awake, sitting on the bathroom floor, with someone laying on her.
She sighed and made sure you were asleep, before wrapping her arms around you and scooting up against a wall. You were soft. Sasha laid her head in the crook of your neck and smiled. Your warmth made her drowsy, not to mention staying up watching you because you decided to be an idiot.
However, both of you forgot to lock the door.

The sun had risen into the sky, and Marcy and Anne still slept soundly in the bedroom. Sasha's mother made her way up the stairs and let herself in. She noticed that only two girls were present, but decided not to wake the two up.
The bathroom door was closed, so she went and pulled on the doorknob. The door opened. Her eyes widened when she saw you and Sasha cuddling each other.
With a smirk and some fangirling, she pulled out her phone and took a photo, leaving you and Sasha alone to not wake you up.

Extra: When your mother found out you almost freaking died because of stupidity she was annoyed as hell.
Your mom: Where did I go wrong with this child? ๐ค
When Sasha woke up and walked downstairs, her mom was acting weird. She asked why and found out her mom had seen the two of you sleeping on each other. Let's just say Sasha was flustered for a while. ๐
